I got an email from Zac about 30 minutes later, saying he could see us on Mothers Day at noon and just to send him an idea of what we were looking for. Zac was quick to respond to me and to top it off, he came in on his day off to do this for us! When we got there he had a few stencils drawn up for us to choose from (based on the ideas I had sent him via email), he tweaked one of them a little bit for us, and then we got started. The place is spacious, well lit and super clean, we watched Zac take his time to clean up the area and his equipment in between each one of our tattoos. He was fun and friendly and patient with us due to our indecisiveness (remember... 4 women!!). We are all very pleased with the end results and would highly recommend Scottish Rose Tattoo, specifically, Zac!

The apprentice is supervised by a senior piercer, in my case the shop owner, and it was a great experience. We went slow and had an easy paced consultation making sure the placement was just right and would also meet the kind of jewelry I wanted. They were happy to change and mark placement multiple times until I was satisfied and the owner was happy. All in, I paid $90 for both piercings including jewelry plus a tip. They are also make sure to go over aftercare prior to and after getting pierced to make sure you are aware of how involved the healing and care process will be.

Which is fine as the artist who did my hand said he wanted me to go to a convention so he can finish my fingers there in a month while the main piece heals. Perfect sounds good with me. He also said he'd text me flyer details? Never did. So made an appointment a weekish before the convention (that I had to look up and find my self) just to confirm we were still on for my fingers. Told me yes and a time to show up. Showed up an hour early and he's already tattooing another person. No Biggie it's midway thru the day at the convention that was expected. What wasn't expected was for him to literally take 5 hours on a piece that seemingly wasn't that bigger than my hand piece and the not even acknowledge I was waiting around for him. Finally when I was tired af and ready to go home with nothing to show for my time being there, I asked if he just wanted to reschedule and was then apologized to and that'd he reach out the next day if he wanted me to come up or to reschedule during the week. Bummer but whatever my fingers need to be done. That was last Saturday and the shop left me on read since then. Great business model...
