I went in and spoke to Travis and made an appointment letting him know I wanted a bat tattoo. When I came back for my appointment, Travis had a drawing he had made of a bat. It was an expected surprise. The drawing he did was of a little bat hanging upside down from a branch. Well, I brought my drawing I had made and he used my drawing. He tattooed my drawing exactly. It was amazing. I was extremely pleased. When I got home, I had to call back and let Travis know, I wanted him to tattoo the drawing he had done!!! I have one each calf. I call them Stella and Luna. The first time, I had my husband's name tatted on my inner wrist. (Yes, he also got my name on his wrist. We've been together 20+ years so we figured by now, we are safe from suffering the "Getting lover's name tattoo and promptly breaking up" curse.) I knew from that first tattoo that it wouldn't be my last. As Hung said, "you'll be back more". My husband is also thinking of his second one. I lost a beloved pet last year in the most devastating and traumatic way. I have been thinking of how to honor him (and our other kitties) to show my gratitude for their lives spent at my side. I decided on one that I knew I would be happy carrying for life and that would embody the feelings that I feel. This has been the only place I've gone for a tattoo so far (three sessions so far as well) but it…read morehas been great. Dan has been the one doing my piece for me and he's always a pleasure to talk to, as he's very funny. But you have to have a NSFW sense of humor! I only gave 4 stars mainly because of how scheduling works, but it's understandable for the business itself. If I didn't like Dan or his work I would have had to go elsewhere, but because of him I am willing to wait however long it takes (even if I miss a few times of scheduling) to get more work! He makes the tattoo process far more bearable even when it hurts. (Scheduling is calling between 2-4pm on the first of each month. If you forget or it fills up, you have to wait a month to try again! At least this is with tattooing, as far as I'm aware. Looks like piercings could be different. I'd suggest calling to ask!)
