Made a call and got an appointment with ease! When I met the artist she seemed pumped about doing my piece and made me feel really comfortable. She did an absolute killer job, really clean shop, really friendly artists. Would recommend Happy Hour Tattoo to anyone who's looking to get tatted. Jess did my piece on my arm - very affordable and great artist.

I had my first tattoo done by Jess in December 2020. She pays amazing attention to detail and to…read morewhat I wanted. She was super sweet and kind, I couldn't have had anyone better. My experience with her and my tattoo was amazing, despite a few problems on my end. If you're going to get your first tattoo I recommend a few things: tell someone that you're getting it (I told nobody, not my friends or family which made my anxiety skyrocket), and eat something with s u g a r before you go in. I ate a plain bagel and scrambled eggs which did not cut it for me. Within minutes I (to my embarrassment) went into shock and passed out (partly due to my anxiety and partly due to the "omfg I'm actually doing this)- Jess and the other worker there were super kind about it they gave me a glucose tablet and energy drinks and coffee and water. Probably something else too food-wise to help me feel better, which was absolutely amazing and I so so SO appreciated it. I could take a break as needed and Jess was super understanding. Next time I go back I'll be sure to have something to keep my blood sugar up before going in. Amazing customer experience on their end, I was able to finish my tattoo which took about 3.5hrs and the cost was not as much as I anticipated so I felt like it was an amazing price- especially since I unexpectedly got their energy drinks (can I like bring some for you guys next time as repayment? Lol but actually though...). As a broke college student I probably won't get another for awhile but when I choose to, I'll definitely be going back.

Dan has been the one doing my piece for me and he's always a pleasure to talk to, as he's very funny. But you have to have a NSFW sense of humor! I only gave 4 stars mainly because of how scheduling works, but it's understandable for the business itself. If I didn't like Dan or his work I would have had to go elsewhere, but because of him I am willing to wait however long it takes (even if I miss a few times of scheduling) to get more work! He makes the tattoo process far more bearable even when it hurts. (Scheduling is calling between 2-4pm on the first of each month. If you forget or it fills up, you have to wait a month to try again! At least this is with tattooing, as far as I'm aware. Looks like piercings could be different. I'd suggest calling to ask!)

I stopped in here on Black Friday for downsizing some jewelry after a fresh piercing from Sacred…read moreSiren. Since Sacred Siren closed suddenly I had to go elsewhere and had no idea what kind of jewelry I had in or needed to downsize to. Thankfully the ladies here barely batted an eye and helped me swap out for what I needed and sent me home with salt and instructions for a salt soak (Sacred Siren just had me doing saline sprays for a few months). The team here was shocked that Siren had me coming in 8 weeks after my initial piercing but said they'd follow whatever my original piercing said to do. I was initially nervous I was doing something wrong but I am glad I downsized when I did as I'm much more comfortable now. Soaking is a pain and I definitely can't do it twice a day but I will follow their instructions as much as I can for the next few months until I'm more fully healed. Place is pretty sparce with not a whole lot of jewelry to choose from. For some new bars and a jewelry change it came to be about $26. They honestly recommended going to Etsy for new jewelry which is what I did. I know they'd be happy to swap my next jewellry out in a few months but I'll just do it at home now that I know more of what's going on and what's in my body. They left me with my sizes and my old bars so I can purchase new items easily online.

It turned out AMAZING. I can't even describe how beautiful it is. This is my second tattoo done by drake and every time I have been there, it's so chill and comfortable. I waited over an hour into my scheduled appointment time just to overhear one of the tattoo artists training the piercer on tattooing talking about how "it's crazy how no one's in the shop today" & had to personally contact my artist and wait almost another hour to hear he was unable to finish the last of his books and has relocated; nothing was relayed to me. & notifications were still being sent out for appointments.
