Stopped in for a drink after a walk thru Point Ruston. Check this place out for Happy Hour! Service is quick and feels like a neighborhood bar. Casual and comfortable.

Avocado Bites
Yash K.

Went here recently for happy hour. The food was pretty good, we got the smash burger which had a properly smashed thin patty and was wide. I prefer that over thick patties. The cheese curds and marinara were tasty although the marinara was a tad bit sweet. The avocado bites were very interesting and the chipotle sauce gave it a nice flavor. The ambience was very good with lots of screens and multiple shows and sports going on. They also had interactive live trivia on one. The servers were very quick and super friendly. I did not get to try the drinks yet. Overall I'd recommend checking them out for their hh food.

Twisted Fork Saloon is quite a nice place to have a meal. Their food is amazing so shoutout to the cooks in the back! Also they offer a large array did rinks if that's your thing. The service was fine and the people were friendly. The place was also very aesthetically pleasing and the ambience was nice. My only complaint is that the table felt sticky and the menus felt dirty.

Quite a long wait but worth it! The food was great and portion sizes were good! The vibes are cool inside and has good outdoor seating.

Twisted fries with pork

Server was quick and friendly, great selection of drinks, and water is served in a metal cup! Pulled pork didn't have flavor and was dry but the fries were still good!

Wandering around Point Ruston for a place to eat, my friends and I stumbled upon a poster outside Twisted Fork Saloon advertising how they were having "All You Can Eat" boneless wings and fries on Monday. Being as hungry as we were, we came right in to try it out. After waiting for nearly half an hour the three of us were served a basket of "boneless wings" and fries. I'm sorry, but this remotely resembled anything of a boneless wing. It was basically just uncoated chicken nuggets. Not only were they nuggets, but they were quite dry and bland. They gave you some sauce options, and each one of us got a different sauce to try out but it was all just lackluster. Somehow the free ranch that was given was way better than the sauces. The only good thing about the meal was the fries, and even then they were just average. The food was poor, and the only redeeming quality I can point out was the friendly service. I wouldn't come back here again.

Soggy French Dip

I'm not sure I'd go back... bothers me, there's a cash price and fee for using a card. And they didn't toast the bread for my French dip. The onions were insanely sweet, and the meat was tough. Staff were ok. Polite but not friendly. Our appetizer was really yummy. So. Maybe go back for apps. With cash in hand...

Mike's wrap (mushy texture, no flavor)

I went here to listen to music and have a tasty bite to eat (so I thought) The food was bland, under seasoed and overcooked... The bartender was super attentive. However, they only had one waitress for the entire establishment. The barbecue sauce is extremely spicy, and the food is mediocre.

We were browsing Ruston way and we decided to try this place since we tried it in Florida. When we first walked in it's completely different than the one in Florida, that one is more fun, but I would say it's still pretty cute for drinks. The service was amazing, I wish I remembered her name. She was super sweet and fast. She was able to bond with all the customers and staffs. The best part that brighten my day is a dog was waiting for her and knowing she would feed him snacks! So definitely 5 stars for the service!! For the food-wise, it's okay. The fried pickled were pretty good but it didn't amaze us. I got the crack wrap, I would say it's not good. It's Mac and cheese and chicken with some buffalo sauce I think. After 3 bites I felt the taste is overwhelming and too much of the cheese taste (in an overpowering way), the tortillas wraps are very rough and Lowkey felt like cardboard. The fries and burger were okay nothing special to be honest. But they have a good happy hour with a good price. Other than that that's it.

After moving to Ruston Point, we sampled all of the restaurants over the course of several months. Twisted Fork is THE restaurant that has become our second home, go-to spot in Tacoma. The service is friendly, the food is always good, and their drinks can't be beat. We have tried most of their menu at this point and haven't found an item we don't like. Our repeat favorites include: Mac and Cheese Gouda bites, burger/pulled pork sliders, Thai chicken salad (can be made into a wrap), Twisted fries and and Twisted chips, and the jumbo wings. They have started hosting Trivia every Wednesday with the first round starting at 7pm. For drinks, we repeatedly order the Bloody Mary, Pub beer ($2 all day, every day), and the Marion berry seltzer. Enjoy a rainy day inside the indoor cozy atmosphere or watch whales and sea life from their outdoor patio. You'll be glad you came to to Twisted!! Note: charge for credit card use.

Still nice staff and good service, but last two times I've been the cheese sauce has made me sick so that's a bummer.

Food was ok. A lot of dogs at this establishment clearly not service dogs. Even sitting at the table with some customers. Very unsanitary.

There was nothing on the menu that was vegan aside from (maybe) a green salad. That made things difficult for me, but I made do. My daughter who is a young teenager, ordered off the children's menu because none of the fancier meals appealed to her. She thoroughly enjoyed her seasonal fruit. However, that spaghetti was not typical spaghetti marinara--and she did not enjoy it. I think she took about three bites before giving up. On the other hand, the birthday girl ordered the fish tacos and loved them. It was clear she really really enjoyed them. The waiter was quite nice and it was a beautiful day to sit out on the patio. The location really can't be beat. I recommend surveying the menu and making certain that you can find something you'll enjoy prior to heading to the restaurant. It's definitely a nice place. It's just that its food might appeal to some much more than others.

We were super hungry, and thankfully the food absolutely hit the spot! I ordered the Grilled Chicken & Beet Salad, and the combination was SO good. The dressing, marinated kale, beets, pepitas, and grilled chicken all worked perfectly together. It was fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy. My husband had the Grilled Romaine Steak Salad. It was our first time trying grilled lettuce, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Definitely not your typical salad. I also really liked their kids' menu. My daughter's meal came with a fruit cup and ice cream, which was such a nice touch for families. We were seated outside with a beautiful view of the water, which made the whole lunch even better. Between the waterfront setting and how much we enjoyed our dishes, I'm genuinely surprised this place isn't rated higher. We had a great experience and would happily come back when we're in Point Ruston again!

My eggs benedict arrived cold, and the English muffin was so tough that I had to ask for a steak knife just to cut through it. When I mentioned to our server that the meal was cold, she said it was because of the lox. That didn't really explain why the eggs, hollandaise, and English muffin were also cold. She did bring me a replacement, which was actually warm. Unfortunately, the service continued to be disappointing. Our server brought the wrong sides and never apologized or corrected the mistake. She said she would bring out the correct sides, but they never arrived. We were a party of seven, and throughout the meal it felt like our table was an afterthought which is especially frustrating because a 20% gratuity was automatically added. To make matters worse, they brought out a dessert for the birthday that the birthday girl was allergic to even though she had made her gluten allergy known when she initially ordered her meal. Overall, this was a profoundly suck-ass experience. For a roughly $30 entrée, I expected much better food, service, and attention to detail.

Located at Point Ruston in the retail level of a multi-family housing unit, it's near many other businesses. The parking situation I'm unsure about as I walked here when I visited and didn't see any designated parking spots outside the shop for it. The parking spaces outside were mostly designated for nearby businesses, so I imagine you'll have to park in the garage or a paid lot where the market is. Since the shop was busy when I visited, I had to wait a bit to order as the two baristas were preparing the food and the drinks. Fortunately, I didn't order anything that took more time to prepare as I was running later than anticipated. Inside, many tables were taken by patrons. I ordered the marbled coffee brew, which had dark and white chocolate in the cold brew along with a breakfast burrito for takeout. When I asked the barista which breakfast item she liked the best, she had recommended the breakfast burrito with sausage, egg and hashbrowns. However, I was disappointed by how little sausage and egg were in the burrito. It was mostly potato inside, so would not recommend if you're looking for something with more protein. If I had more time to dine in, I would've had the avocado toast with bacon and eggs or an acai bowl, which is offered here.
