Incredible Quality!!! Everyone who has seen my calling cards has complimented me on them. Some things done the old fashion way, have an elegance that cannot be duplicated with a computer. Everything from the texture of the paper to the quality of the printing shows that this printer takes pride in her work. I am looking forward to getting custom coasters to give as gifts to participants in our yacht club's sail to South Beach. read more

Kristin was amazing! I realized the week of my son's wedding I had not done menu's for the rehearsal dinner. I reached out to Kristin and she had the best paper to match my already completed place cards and had them ready to go the next day. Highly recommend her for any type or printing you need. And I love her separate studio in her backyard. It is really cute. Thanks Kristin!! read more

I'm at a loss for words as to why Twin Ravens Press has not been given a million 5 Star reviews! I recently got married and I must admit that the wedding invitations were most definitely my favorite part!! (Well, the getting married part was too!) I stumbled across their webpage and was blown away by the real life examples of other wedding/birth announcements/save the dates/business cards they had on their site. I immediately told my husband that no matter what the cost we were going with Twin Ravens Press. He didn't like that idea but told me to contact them and see if they were within our budget. WELL not only were they within our budget, but we got to help with a custom design!!! We emailed Kristin some examples of certain designs we saw and liked and she came up with an amazing design for our invitations, reply cards and the envelopes! She was easy to "talk" to (everything was done via email) and extremely prompt!! I am now in the process of trying to get my husband on board with having a baby so Twin Ravens Press can do our baby announcements!!! For custom letterpress wedding invitations, Twin Ravens Press not only did an amazing job but were extremely reasonable with their prices. I cannot say anything bad about my experience with Twin Ravens Press. Kristin pretty much kicks serious stationary butt!!! read more

If there has been any aspect of my upcoming wedding that I have obsessed over more, it would have to be the invitations. At first, I told myself (and others) that I couldn't justify spending a lot of money on something that would just end up in the trash. My resolve didn't last long. I kept seeing gorgeous letterpress invitations all over the internet, and I fell in love. I coveted letterpress. I never dreamed I could ever afford them. And then I ran across a recommendation for Twin Ravens Press. Imagine my surprise when I learned it was a local business. Well, I was flat out stunned when I saw the prices. Suddenly, letterpress seemed...attainable. Kristin was kind enough to provide her pricing sheet and explain her services, and invited me to her studio. I spent more than two hours there looking over samples of her work, then talking about the design and wording. By the time I left, I had a pretty solid design that my fiance and our parents thought looked great, and that improved after a few more tweaks. Kristin was patient, friendly, and accommodating with each change - and I was really nitpicky about the color of the envelopes and the wording of the invitations. The final cost of the invites was made very clear in the invoice before I gave the final approval and authorized the work. When the invites were done, Kristin delivered them to me at work, and they were amazingly beautiful and elegant. The invitations have gone out, and friends have commented on how beautiful they are, and how great they feel (letterpress is a tactile experience as well as a visual one). I am very pleased with the service and quality of the invitations, and I look forward to using Twin Ravens Press for baby announcements...some day. read more

I had Kristin do my daughter's birth announcement and could not be happier. In the digital/virtual world, I didn't need to be confined to bricks and mortar shops in the Chicagoland area. I love letterpress and hey, you only get on birth announcement per child so I wanted to make it count! Kristin was really patient with me taking in all of my feedback for revisions and was responsive. She even offered to leverage her corporate discount for photo printing and matted the photos in our birth announcement. The end product was a perfect combination of letterpress and photo with a little hint of wedding invitation vibe. Even my OB/GYN who I had sent an announcement let me know that it was the prettiest announcement she had received! I definitely recommend Twin Ravens to anyone looking for AFFORDABLE letterpress - plus she does custom work so you aren't picking from a stock catalog of designs. read more

I won't use Twin Ravens Press again. I'm not sure what was going on, but my experience with this business was weird and I totally agree with Jan C's review. Kristin could be rude and her prices kept changing. I'd call her out on it from time to time, and - no apology - just sort of "oh yeah, I was wrong before, it's now this price." After a few times, that gets old. Anyway, I used Twin Ravens Press for some custom work after reading lots of good things about Kristin on Weddingbee. I had contacted many letterpress printers and found her prices to be very low compared to the others. I had hired her to do custom design work, but should not have. I think Kristin would ONLY be okay if you want her to letterpress a design you've already created. Her design work was not good. I wish I could post the initial proof she came up with -- I have no design background whatsoever and I'm pretty sure I could come up with something more aesthetically pleasing than what she came up with in less time. I realized very quickly that she could not be trusted to come up with something that I'd be happy with so I mined through lots of different designs/images, etc to let her know exactly what I wanted. This was not the worst part of the experience though. The worst part was that Kristin would go MIA between rounds of revisions, even though I had expressly told her that the project was quite time-sensitive. When I finally had had enough of emailing her and called her up to see what was going on, she was totally rude to me on the phone. I was floored. Ultimately, the work came out fine but the letterpress printing was so-so. The color was not consistent across the pieces -- they varied from very light (I guess when the roller was almost dry) to very dark (when the roller had been re-inked). I get custom letterpress printing done on a pretty regular basis and I've never seen so much discrepancy across one project. I'll never use this place again, and definitely regret letting my pocketbook guide this decision. Next time, I'll pay $ and get better quality and better service. read more

My fiance and I chose Twin Ravens Press for our wedding invitations, and we're so thrilled with the outcome. I'm a design professional myself, so I can be very particular about design, but Kristin did a wonderful job of taking our style and color preferences, and crafting a gorgeous design for us. We started getting compliments on the invitations from our wedding guests just a couple days after we mailed them out, and they feel like such a perfect fit! read more

At first, Kristin seemed like a great fit - but then came the never ending problems. She did not admit to her errors, let alone apologize for them. And, in general, she was not a reasonable person - only thinking of herself and not the customer ...Overall, she was incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL. I will not be using her again. read more

Wonderful, Kristin is quick, responsive and very creative. She designed the invitations to match the theme and location of our upcoming wedding. The invitations have been loved by everyone who got them in the mail. This company is a 10! read more

I have worked closely with Twin Ravens Press on multiple occasions over the past seven years, and everything from the quality of their letter pressing to design skills and even their competitive pricing has completely exceeded my expectations. Kristin is responsive, kind, and incredibly talented at preserving the art of letterpressing in an era of digital excess. I live in an area of Dallas where there are multiple letterpress printers within five minutes of my home, and I still chose to have all of my announcements, invitations, and personal stationery shipped from Twin Ravens Press. I highly recommend their printing and design services and look forward to having Kristin continue to document my life's most important events. read more

She did our wedding invitations and they were phenomenal. We got all sorts of compliments on them. She did all the design work and integrated elements that we requested, as well as elements we liked from examples she had. She was great with communication, her price was reasonable, we couldn't have been happier. read more

Don't go anywhere else for your wedding invitations! Like the other reviews, I was amazed at the service and quality you get from Twin Ravens Press (and at a great price!) Kristin is ALWAYS responsive to emails, which is so reassuring for the frazzled bride. (Also, she is very easy to work with remotely - I'm in Los Angeles and had no problems with the distance.) My invitations are even lovelier than I could have imagined. Thanks! read more

Amazing quality! Great to work with! My fiancé and I recently received our wedding invitations from Kristin, and we've gotten so many compliments on them! They're absolutely gorgeous. She worked with us to give us the best quality, look, and package for our price range. Kristin responds to e-mails quickly and thoroughly (even my frantic, wedding-planning freakout emails) and gave us updates along the way to let us know how things were going. We'll definitely be going back to her for our thank you cards! Choosing her lovely handmade work over a generic online template was the best decision we could have made! read more

I can't agree more with the first review! I had no idea where to begin with my wedding invitations, save the dates, and thank you cards but Kristin totally blew me away with her creativity, patience and knowledge through the design and printing process. I still look at my invitations all the time and love how they came out! We got so many compliments - they were unique and beautiful. Kristin was profession and great to work with, and I will definitely hire Kristin again and recommend her to anyone looking for letterpress! read more

I hired Twin Ravens to do laser-cutting work. At first, it was great...very responsive, good quality. Then came the quality problems, and she went missing in action. As I got more frustrated, she got more nonchalant, never saying "I'm sorry." The quality problems got worse... my customers started rejecting them, and even after showing her the samples, she disavowed that there was a problem. She finally gave me a refund but only after much back-and-forth. The worst part was the arrogance. I now have a new laser-cutting vendor who turns out perfect quality, with great service, for the same price. read more

Kristin is so amazing!! I used Kristin for my wedding invites and I could not be happier with the quality of work, responses to my emails, attentiveness, etc. If you are so lucky, as I was, to have found her, you will not regret it!! I extensively research all of my vendors, and Kristin by far was the most affordable for the top quality of work that she does....run to your computers now to hold your spot on her calendar - i'm serious. i am not easy to please, and I admit, kind of high maintenance but Kristin relieved all anxiety and I was extremely pleased with my unique invitations!! she is so easy to work with and so so so sweet - she has never ever been rude, and i don't think she has a mean bone in her body!! book her!! read more

Kristin was so great to work with! She printed my business cards and I simply love everything about them. From the paper quality to the gorgeous letterpress detail, Kristin produced a quality product that I'm proud to hand out to clients. She was always prompt at responding to my inquiries and kept me updated every step of the way. If you're considering Kristin for a letterpress job, go for it! You won't find better quality at such a reasonable price, I promise you! read more

Kristen was late getting my daughters save the date cards out, which should have been a warning that she would also be late with their wedding invitations. She strung my very kind daughter along, telling her each day "They'll be ready tomorrow," She delayed a week on the proof, failed to correct the mistake on the proof in the final product, breached the due date in her own contract. When my daughter and son in law were finally told their invitations were ready and they arrived to pick them up, Kristen had them sit and wait until she finished the invitations. My daughter got her wedding invitations out THREE WEEKS before her ceremony, which caused her quite a lot of stress and embarrassment. She did cut the deadline close, but the difference between 6 weeks and three weeks before the wedding is huge. Kristen showed zero concern about this, although she certainly knew the date of the wedding and was being contacted almost every day for status. There is NO Kind way to put this: Kristen is incompetent and irresponsible. She should refund 100% of her charges. read more
