Well that is how I feel about Amanda and our experience with her shooting our family photos. I was referred to Amanda because her peers felt that her skills are extra highlighted when it comes to a family shoot. Family shoots come with the territory of little children, messes, crying, not happy campers and potentially having up to like 18 people in one group. My first phone conversation with Amanda made me feel like I have known her for years and that it was going to be just another normal shoot. Except no I have never met this fantastic lady and no she did not know what she was getting her self into when I asked if my extended family was okay to bring to our small family shoot. When we got to our location I was welcomed with a hug and huge smile like we were old friends meeting up for coffee. That is the experience and customer service you get with this photographer. She made our little boy laugh with her silly faces, jumps in the air and her conversation at eye level. Qualities that any mom would look for when realizing she just wants a few perfect pictures of their little one. We never once felt rushed, against the clock or that she wouldn't hear our ideas for pictures. Amanda was quick to getting our family albums back to us with constant communication of what her status was. Once I received our album, I saved about 180 of the images just on my phone because each one was PERFECTION!! I was so happy that I was referred to Amanda because I have found our family photographer for life and I can't wait for the next session! If you decide to pick Amanda, you won't be disappointed and if you don't pick her well than you just missed out not only on great quality work but an amazing friendship with one of the sweetest photographers I've ever met!!!

I had never considered doing a boudoir shoot before until recently. I never felt comfortable in my…read moreown skin and peeling off the layers we all hide behind was scary. However, I took the plunge. Now let me tell you I don't do sexy looks and when I try, I look super angry. So the typical "sexy" wasn't in my wheel house. My face only knows how to smile and so I did, in a lot of pictures. It was one of the first times that I felt good about the outside and was able to get comfortable with my 41 year old self. I had my hair and makeup done as an optional add on with my package and it was worth it. I felt sexy and it shows through the pictures. I would recommend it to anyone, male or female regardless of how you identify. I would absolutely do it again. My pictures are beautiful!!

It was quite an interesting experience, loved the studio and she had decent options for the…read morepictures and backgrounds and such. We booked long in advance of course and as luck had it our son was a little bit sick when he arrived... Peggy acted as though he was deathly ill, asked him to sit in a specific spot, rushed us along to do the shoot. We didn't bring many changes of clothing or anything, but to my knowledge we were paying for an hour of her time for all of this process. She RUSHED to get the pictures of my son done, the way she was acting you'd seriously think he was dying. One of the nicer touches was she offered to touch up my wife's make up and had handy things around to make sure the girls looked beautiful. The downside of the make up touch was my wife showed her during that process that her teeth aren't that great, to which it got brought up multiple times during the actual photo sessions "No one wants to show teeth huh!?" No, sorry. When I mentioned I didn't have front teeth she kinda just talked over me, which ties into what I brought up earlier, the rushing. We were there for a total of 35 minutes. During the clothing change of the girls, my wife sat in the area she designated my son to sit previously, to which she was kinda snapped at and told "That's my chair, there's other seating over here." Which is very confusing, but lead to her later emailing saying "These things happen, I am now sick." obviously blaming the illness on my son. Weird she was the only one this sickness passed to. I do like some of the pictures, well.. Like five of them. Out of I believe she said 142? I believe this is mostly because she just rushed us, and I really didn't like that one bit. The ONE family photo we got, which is what I personally REALLY wanted, my son is standing off away from the rest of the family.
