The seafood buffet (only on Wednesdays) was amazing at that price point. If you have a players card, guests will receive a 10% discount. Reg price $39.99 but with discount the dinner was $35.99 + tax Crab legs, oysters and prime rib were fresh. I highly recommend this buffet especially at this price.

No dark meat turkey! False advertisement! They show a picture of a whole turkey and only have deli sliced turkey nobody wants that! Gross. No pumpkin pie! SHUT THE PLACE DOWN and give out money back!

This buffet is a ripped off place, $19.99 for dinner, but no seafood. All food dishes are no taste, over cooked, not attractive.

The buffet was awful. Over cooked no variety. Looked like the food was left over from lunch. Very over priced for what they had.

The thing that always weirded me out about Sizzler (including this location) is that if you use a cc/debit card to pay, then you tip before you even sit down. Weird, huh? The food at the salad bar was old and dried up. The mac n cheese was clumped together. All soups had a thin film across the top cuz they've sat for a while. The chicken wings were a bit dry and extra crunchy. Taco meat was sitting in grease. I think I may skip out on the salad bar at this location if I ever come back. My steak, cheese toast & rice pilaf was perfect. Steak was cooked as I ordered it (medium). The server was nice. She got me iced tea refills when I needed. She was grateful for her tip (given beforehand, so maybe that's why she was extra nice???). I would eat here again, but I would think twice about getting salad bar.

You order at the counter so we got the ribeye and the fried shrimp plate. We both added salad bar and I got a beer. You pick your spot to sit, and then we headed to the salad bar. It's a wild mix of everything from tacos to spaghetti and everything in between. Salad was good, fresh and plenty. I grabbed a wing and some fruit as well as a bowl of clam chowder Our server came over and brought my beer. She was pleasant and efficient. Clam chowder was awful, tasted like flour. Salad was good Steak was tough, cooked perfectly but tough. Fried shrimp was good Had ice cream for dessert and it was good, tasted like McDonald's vanilla. Was a cool experience but definitely wouldn't go back

While I admit, the food is not the greatest food you will ever have; I will say that most of the food is good, and there is enough variety to not make coming here a terrible chore. The Hot Spot, like any cafeteria/buffet possesses a few constants. In the morning, they usually serve the same assortment of stuff with slight varieties to the choices such as the occasional inclusion of bacon as a meat choice. During lunch and dinner, they always serve burgers and fries, pizza, Mongolian style Chinese food, among others. That being said, there is still enough variety to make people happy. First, they have a sandwich bar where students can have someone make their own custom sandwich, there is a vegetarian vendor that serves different items everyday, They even have theme weeks, where they cook up international dishes. Lastly, every afternoon they have a snack bar open where they serve different snacks including ice cream, puddings, and others. Overall, I think this place is pretty decent and I would temper your expectations for fine dining because this is not a 5 star place. However if you come here expecting an abundance of decent quality food at a good price, I think you might be pleased.

The food definitely backs it up too. Everything I've had has been solid, but the pulled pork sandwich is easily my favorite. Super flavorful, cooked just right, and hits every time. It's the kind of place where you know exactly what you're getting in a good way. Order at the counter service to dine-in but they also have good catering which hits the spot on the go!

They have a table in the dining area with 3 or 4 different self serve BBQ sauces + ketchup. There are lots of TV's, so it would be a great place to sit and watch a sports game, if that's your vibe. The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful. We ended up splitting BBQ nachos topped with brisket. The brisket is available on the nachos with an up-charge. The nachos were tasty, but the brisket was not worth it.... It tasted great, but they really skimped on the meat for the nachos. I felt that it was not worth the price.. Then we got a peach cobbler topped with ice cream and their chocolate cake. Both were great. It's hard to say which was better! I did like how crisp the top of the cobbler was. Sometimes cobbler tends to be soggy, but that was not the case here! All in all, I would eat here again, but I would not order the nachos with brisket again, as I felt that they were not worth the price.

Reasonable prices, limited wait time, great service and friendly staff make this a great place to check out. They also have a sushi bar which we didn't try but heard good things. When we had tried to make a reservation for our party of 10 over open table it refused to let us book it. So we tried 8 since our youngest two in the group are little toddlers that barely eat. So we figured they could sit on our laps and eat off our plates. So when we had got to Sakura a bit early from the North Pole experience tonight my stepdad had mentioned that we were actually a party of 10. When I tell you the attitude and sass from this woman came off me personally if our whole party wasn't starving I would have left. Because the way she acted was as though thy had a full house and there was just no way having a party of 10 is unacceptable. Fast forward to 32+ min later we were seated and the whole start to finish took over 2 hours. I'm so grateful our server and chef were absolutely wonderful. Super polite and respectful how most people should be working in customer service unlike the hosts up front. The server and chefs were the real starts of the show tonight. And of course after our wonderful meals upon exiting there was absolutely no kind of "have a good night" or thanks for dining with us or anything of the sort. If the owner or management ever read these they def need to consider hiring new hostesses that are pleasant and not so rude.

Because of…read morethat, we decided to try this place, especially since they offered not only sushi but also some teppanyaki dishes. We started with the Vegetable Yaki Soba, which was pretty good overall. However, I wished there had been more variety in the vegetables. It felt a bit too heavy on bell peppers, which I personally do not like. I then ordered salmon sushi and yellowtail sushi. The menu was not very clear about whether these would be rolls or nigiri. Since the menu on their website did not mention nigiri anywhere, I assumed they would be rolls. Unfortunately, they ended up being nigiri pieces instead. While they were still delicious, it wasn't what I was expecting, which was disappointing. We also tried several rolls. The AAC Roll, which includes avocado, asparagus, and cucumber, was pretty good and something I really liked, although the avocado flavor was very dominant. The Oshinko Roll, made with Japanese-style pickled radish, was just okay. The Sweet Potato Roll turned out to be very delicious. It wasn't just plain sweet potato on the inside; it was made with tempura-style sweet potato, which made a big difference. Lastly, we ordered the Hibachi Steak, which came with a salad and egg fried rice. I loved it, especially because the sauce on the steak had a really good balance of savory and sweetness. The egg fried rice was also very good, although it was a bit on the oily side. We placed our order online and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. However, when we arrived, the staff gave off a strong "we forgot about this order" vibe, and we ended up waiting twice as long more. What bothered me most was that the staff didn't acknowledge that the order had been forgotten and didn't apologize. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I would have appreciated it if they had owned it and apologized. That experience left a slightly sour impression of this place for us.
