Because it is literally a small business, customers wait in their vehicles to be texted to come in. I met with Laurie. She was personable and very skilled. She made me very comfortable. As she was waxing, there were times she let me know where she was going to be waxing to warn me (delicate areas!). Paying is very easy. The building feels like a cozy home. Very welcoming. Nothing steely and cold about it. I look forward to supporting this business for my future waxing needs.

I saw a Groupon for microneedling at this medspa and decided to come and check it out…read more First, it's a really aesthetically beautiful space. This extends to all areas of the spa that I accessed. The vibe is definitely lush and luxe. The waiting area has plenty of seating for clients waiting and there are two restrooms as well as an open sink area for clients and guests to use. My only critique would be that the music was a bit loud but I also could have been sitting close to a speaker. The spa scored major points for having a parking lot. This allowed for easy access and in this part of town that can be challenging to come by. The desk staff are very nice and helpful. Someone came in 30+ minutes early for their appointment and instead of making it a big deal they offered them the use of the sauna. I thought this was really great and showcased that the spa really does prioritize guest experience. The level of communication pre appointment was great and supportive. I was on a wait list for my service and was texted about an earlier opening. My actual procedure was also a great experience. The esthetician was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great insight around aftercare and follow-up. Shout out to Kristin(en) she was great and it was also her birthday. Overall, this was a lovely medspa experience start to finish. I highly suggest checking them out (and catch some deals on Groupon).

Long review: The experience is so curated and well done. Warmed table, amazing massage, great mask, and the small details that make me feel cared for. I cannot tell you what I loved the best- because each time I thought "oh, this is the best part", I was proven wrong. The scalp scrubby part, or the shoulder massage, or maybe hand pressure points? It was all good. I absolutely loved this experience. I will be back. Do yourself a favor- just sign up. Side note: the location on N Mopac is in a location called Salon Lofts and it way around the back. I just walked around. But I was a little stressed out worried I was late.

I arrived a few minutes early but ended up wandering the hallways looking for it, and there isn't much waiting space once you arrive. The beginning of the treatment also had me wondering, "Is this it?" But then it really ramped up, and wow...it became incredibly relaxing. Dee was wonderful. It honestly felt like someone was playing with your hair for 90 minutes in the best possible way, and the scalp, neck and shoulder massages were fantastic. I left feeling completely relaxed. A few small things I'd suggest: * Include the suite number and arrival instructions in the confirmation materials. * The music was a little louder than I prefer, though I understand it's probably to help mask noise from the surrounding salon suites. * The leg wedge was a bit too high for my comfort, but that's personal preference. * Keeping supplies on a rolling cart next to the treatment table might help avoid having to step away as often during the service. Overall, my first impression wasn't amazing, but the treatment absolutely won me over. Dee was excellent, and I'll definitely be back.

Location: the spa cohabitates with other service-base businesses in a residential turned commercial house off 6th street. (Sidenote: I am new to Austin so I might try the hair stylist in the same location... the woman sitting on his station had fabulous hair). Neu Skin's space is pristine and serene, though you may hear someone walking in the hall way occasionally (if they have an obnoxious heavy step). But other than that Elizabeth has created a great city-escape. Price: worth every cents spent! Her prices are moderate and you can't beat the service and the high quality products she uses anywhere else. Elizabeth is a gentle lady, but her method is pretty aggressive, she is not afraid to tackle the extractions, she said I had a lot of "congestion" for lack of better term, and I think she was being polite lol! For me, slowing the signs of aging is important as I get older... we do not have to live with dull or sagging skin and many products out there that promise results only aggravate the situation. I love the products Elizabeth uses, and she has the Midas touch! I was very relaxed and almost sleep even while she was doing extractions. I looked and felt radiant after my facial!
