My first impression wasn't the best, but by the end I completely understood the hype. Finding the suite was a little frustrating since it's located inside Salon Lofts and my confirmation didn't include the suite number. I arrived a few minutes early but ended up wandering the hallways looking for it, and there isn't much waiting space once you arrive. The beginning of the treatment also had me wondering, "Is this it?" But then it really ramped up, and wow...it became incredibly relaxing. Dee was wonderful. It honestly felt like someone was playing with your hair for 90 minutes in the best possible way, and the scalp, neck and shoulder massages were fantastic. I left feeling completely relaxed. A few small things I'd suggest: * Include the suite number and arrival instructions in the confirmation materials. * The music was a little louder than I prefer, though I understand it's probably to help mask noise from the surrounding salon suites. * The leg wedge was a bit too high for my comfort, but that's personal preference. * Keeping supplies on a rolling cart next to the treatment table might help avoid having to step away as often during the service. I was greeted right away and taken to a dimly lit, calming room. They spent a long time on the facial part and wish they spent more time on my scalp and included a scalp scrub. I entered the door and it smelled inviting and clean. I've worked as a Nose so it made a great 1st impression. I made an appointment for a facial. It was not only relaxing but my skin looked radiant! I travel A lot so my skin gets dehydrated quickly. I opted for a shoulder massage too which was a huge plus.. After my facial I sat in a chair and my hair was brushed . What an extra treat. Lastly, I was given a parting gift with candy and eye patch. The vibe was soothing and they paid attention to every detail. Did I enjoy it - yes. Did I not like it? Also yes. I'd been wanting to try a head spa for a while, so I finally made an appointment at the location most convenient for me. They texted asking if I wanted to switch to their other location -- if I'd wanted that one, I would've booked it myself. That already felt a little off before I even arrived. The space itself was small, with only two beds separated by a curtain, but since I was the only client there, it was fine. It was serene, relaxing, and clean. The overall experience wasn't quite what I imagined, and I realized this kind of relaxation might just not be for me. I was cold for most of the session, so I asked for the second blanket -- a weighted or heated blanket would've made a big difference. If I ever go back, I would consider bringing my own weighted blanket. The water for the scalp treatment also could've been warmer; I prefer it hot, but for some reason, they couldn't seem to make it quite hot enough. Another thing that stood out was the lack of consultation. They didn't ask about if my hair was colored, or if I had any scalp or skin sensitivity, or product preferences -- questions you'd normally expect at a spa or hair salon. They just went ahead and used whatever products they had on hand. I'm not sensitive or allergic to anything, so it was fine, but still unusual. While the head spa treatment was a nice relaxing experience, after your head was wet you get cold. The beds were not heated. There was a light weight blanket over you but a heated blanket would be much better. Would have liked more head neck massage in lieu of head scratching. I randomly typed in scalp massage one day and found this place on google. I watch a lot of ASMR videos and have seen Japanese scalp massages on YouTube and instantly knew I needed to try it. It was so crazy (in a good way)! The massage techniques they used were super unique and felt great. I had to stop myself from laughing once or twice because I just wasn't prepared for some of the techniques they were going to use. I chose the $95 scalp massage with the facial. You basically get a super intense scalp massage/shampoo with a neck massage and a facial. My scalp feels so insanely clean now. I was also shocked that my curly hair came out looking pretty good afterwards. One thing I really liked was that they were very accommodating to all hair types and allowed me to bring my own products in before blow drying my hair. I enjoyed the time with friends, but overall I was disappointed with our spa experience. There was no info provided beforehand (rules, FAQs, what to expect), no receptionist at check-in, and little communication once in the room. I booked basic scalp massages for myself and 3 friends with the understanding upgrades could be added, but none were offered. The biggest issue was that my provider wore rubber gloves without any notice, which made the service uncomfortable--hair pulling with dry oil, glove friction by my ear, and more pulling during the blow-dry. Out of the four of us, three had the same glove experience. I understand gloves may be for hygiene, but that should be communicated upfront and clients should have the option to decline. My scalp felt rubbed, not deeply cleaned, and overall the service didn't live up to the "Instagram experience" they market. Lastly, when two people are in the same room, the staff should work in tandem. I still had about 10 minutes left, but the blow-dryer started on my friend next to me, and my provider rushed to catch up. read more

The salon is very pleasant and I was treated exceptionally well. However my 3B-3C curls suffered. I did ask prior to my appointment if they were able to treat curly hair, they did say yes so I felt comfortable enough to try them out. I walked out with my curls mangled (combed out while half dry, no sort of proper leave-in conditioner or detangler for my hair type, I could tell immediately what was put in my hair was not hydrating/emollient enough) I enjoyed the process it was very relaxing for the most part, but I could not help but feel slightly uneasy at the same time because of how my curls were being treated while I was on the table and in the chair. I feel that the salon should be transparent with the clients of their skill set rather than leading them astray. Be aware, if you have curly hair you should not attend this salon, the people are very kind and will be very nice to you which I greatly appreciate but they do not have the training to properly treat curly hair of any kind. I'm totally okay with being turned away kindly if someone is not able to do me justice, rather than wishful thinking. read more

This was a small room inside of a Salon Lofts. Limited privacy when changing- my daughter could still see the glass door which made her very uncomfortable. There were only curtains separating the 3 beds and the employees walked in and out while we were changing. The treatment itself was more of a vigorous scrub than a relaxing massage.
