Ribeye steak was weak. Very thin and not even sure it was a ribeye. But breakfast bar was very good. Nice wait staff.

It's maybe just a tad on the smaller end, but it's relatively affordable. Coffee had a light, even taste. Fruits were fine.

Which is fascinating, because The Good Egg has this very visible sign right when you walk in praising their 2023 Beacon Readers Choice Awards for the area's best breakfast. This is not an award-winning restaurant or experience. The first feeling I had was that the Good Egg reminded me of a hotel restaurant. The ambiance and decor are generic and stale. The team barely gave a good morning when I walked in, and I noticed they had the same nonchalant attitude toward other guests. I will say that that I was impressed with the cleanliness, and the menu is extensive. with breakfast and brunch served daily. The menu features lighter options, like yogurt parfaits and avocado toast, a variety of Eggs Benedict, hearty skillets, classic breakfast plates, omelettes and Southwestern-inspired dishes, such as chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. They also have pancakes, a Belgian waffle and French toast on the menu. It seems the stuffed French toast is popular. There are also sandwiches, wraps, melts and salads. They also seem vegetarian and kid-friendly. But, goodness, the food is quite bland. It has no soul in it. I will say that the bacon is outstanding. But all else -- underwhelming.

Didn't have any share plates so we were all kinda just picking at them lol. I shared the macadamia crusted mahi and the octopus with my mom. Both were good but I think the mahi was the best! The octopus had a bit too much char. Sauce on the Mahi had a great flavor and loved the coconut risotto. My mother in law got a Crème brûlée with coconut on top, delicious!! Great view outside, nice aesthetic, friendly staff and delicious food. Would def come back!

The sauce was so watery, it gave the appearance that they ran out of sauce and thinned out the sauce to create volume.... But the Pretzel was good. Then we shared the crusted Pork loin. It was delivered to us split, how kind. However the underside of the wife's portion was not only tough, but so burnt, the crusted part had to be scraped off in order to eat it ( see photo). The bartender ONLY checked back when I scraped the last bite of burnt off. She says, " how is it?" I pointed to the pile of burnt crust I accumulated. Her response was " you should have said something ". "I would have had I saw you " was the thought in my head. I should have returned it, but how do you return 1/2 of a meal? Anyway, to the "cooks" in the Kitchen, don't hide the burn by flipping the loin over. Take pride in your work! Keep an eye on what you are cooking and DON'T SERVE BURNT FOOD!

The lunch special is a good deal: burger, fries and a drink for $14. Didn't go on a Sunday BUT they have tons of tv's for your NFL team. They are technically a Detroit lions bar, so if you've got grit, this is your place. Family friendly and convenient location in liberty station which used to be the old Navy boot camp back in the day. Maria is attentive and funny. She's the best. Would recommend for anyone visiting.

This place is stacked with TVs so perfect for football games too. We came on a Saturday and it was a tad busy so should there be games definitely come early. We shared their 50/50 burger. Fries were great and the burger was solid. They have numerous beers on tap. I like ciders and they had some of those too. The real winner looks like their brunch. 1 dollar mimosas with a purchase of an entree. Special shout out to Ryan who was doing double duty by both bartending and serving. He was super attentive to each table and wanted to ensure everyone was having a good time. It's right by a parking lot which is helpful. All in all a solid restaurant/bar to watch the game. Their patio is also dog friendly.

I was so excited to see the 50s theme and everyone who worked there was excited with me. No one made me feel silly for how much fun I was having. We had burgers, fries and onion rings which were all delicious! I loved every interaction and every moment and that is because of the wonderful staff who clearly love and enjoy their jobs. I have been raving about my experience for days. Plus the staff surprised me with a giant cotton candy for dessert. I felt so seen and celebrated by these amazing people. Definitely will be back

It's fun to see what all the team members here are wearing, and the restaurant has a lot going on to look at. We ordered a peppermint shake + a chicken polka penne (cajun seasoned chicken) for dinner. It comes with a side salad with your choice of dressing. The shake + dinner was delicious! Food was quick to come out and I was dining with one other person and we were sharing, and they were kind enough to split our shake and bring out extra plates for the salad & pasta without us asking. Our bartender/server, Rita, was great! The total was around $37 before tip. I would definitely come back & highly recommend for a fun night out!
