IN-A-PINCH DINING @ The Best Western Seven Seas! The Seven Seas Cafe had speedy service and the waiter wasn't too bad. You can tell he had his favorites and dedicated his time to them over all the other customers but he was never rude. I tried the cafe on Night 1 of my stay as I was craving a sandwich, the BLT was okay. The bacon was dry and the veggies didn't taste super fresh, but it was serviceable. The fries are amazing here, definitely would recommend those! The next night I returned because I had a massive headache and didn't want to leave my hotel so I tried the pizza. Again, it was fine but nothing spectacular . I actually enjoyed the pizza much more than the sandwich. I just think I came in too late and they kind of rushed everything to get me out the door on the second night. The cafe is super quiet and great for having a no frills bite. I thought it was pretty clean and roomy. I really liked the outdoor seating, there was plenty of room for groups out there. The Seven Seas Cafe is in between the hotel's lobby and Zack's Bar.

A glass glass!

I had dinner here a couple of nights before, and was so good decided to come back one more time! My previous review stands for all the great details. Ordered the same zucchini sticks and Mexican cobb salad (no bacon). I did get a glass glass this time for the iced tea, and the salad came on a round plate instead of an oval plate, which is better for me as I like to chop and mix the salad so all the dressing gets evened out and all the toppings are throughout the salad. The food was as hot, fresh and delicious as the previous meal - I love consistency! My server tonight was a different gentleman, Senad K., and he was as excellent as my previous server! He never let my iced tea get below half full, and was constantly checking in for any additional needs. Listening to him serve the other tables, I can tell you that he knows and loves his job and deals wonderfully with people - both welcome aspects of this service industry; it's what keeps people coming back. And after my last two wonderful dinners here, I too shall be back!

Nothing special. Service was great, food so-so. Prices a little high but not too bad. Nice and quiet, enjoyed eating there.

Their outdoor seating with patio is beautiful! This place is absolutely divine! At this point, I dont really care about how the food tastes. Lol! Let's start off with the one problem i had with this place. The parking!!! It took me 20m to find parking and im not about to park my car on the street. I have precious dogs! Lol kidding. I just couldn't find any parking on the street or in the block! I suppose i came during lunch which is probably really busy. When I left, there were quite a few opened parking spots. This place is connected to an apartment complex surrounding retail stores. The leasing building is right next to Gravity Heights. I used to rent a 4k+ a month apartment in a retail area and let me tell you, its a hassle to find parking and not take a retail parking spot without having your complex email you everyday about your car potentially being towed lol! I understand this pain. Now that we are past that, let's get to why this place deserves 5 stars. The service is excellent! My server came around at the perfect times and they seem to really care if I enjoyed my meal! The stellar atmosphere with attentive service is enough for me! I got a gravity burger protein style which I dont think did the burger justice. I was going to eat with my husband later at a Vietnamese restaurant and I can only choose one carb for the day. My diabetic life is tough! Lol. I chose the Cesar salad to go with my burger. My burger was delicious bc of the caramelized onions. I didn't really taste a sauce in the burger but the excellent bacon with the much needed caramelized onions made the burger fantastic! The IPA hazy beer i had with my meal was also light and mellow. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and meal. My babies also enjoyed their burger! The weather was perfect today and it was a nice time and to think I was not going to eat here bc the parking definitely was a huge deterrent. Next time ill bring human company!

We got sat right away in the happy hour area. As we were walking in I noticed the decor looked really nice and the ambience of the restaurant felt clean and modern. We ordered some happy hour cocktails to start and they were really strong (but tasty) in my opinion. Maybe I'm just lightweight though. We also ordered some oysters, the shrimp aguachile, and the smashburger to share which were all tasty. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and checked up on us. Overall a successful happy hour visit and would visit again as they seem to have a rotating menu.

I tend to keep it simple and order the same items every time. My go to is the crispy Brussels for $14 and the chicken sandwich for $16, and I usually rotate in the parmesan fries for $10. While they do offer other dishes that are worth trying, these favorites always keep me coming back. The service and ambiance are consistently great. It is located in Hillcrest, so the area is always lively, which adds to the overall experience. The energy, combined with the quality of the food, makes it a reliable choice whether I am dining with friends or hosting out of town guests. Parking can be a bit challenging, but that is typical for Hillcrest. I usually plan ahead and look for street parking nearby.

Drinks wise, I got the blueberry bramble as well as the berries & cream (both vodka drinks). they were fantastic, so refreshing. Old fashioned was also top notch! server was wonderful and kind. the ambiance is amazing and is a great spot for a date or cozy evening with friends.

The Red Door is firmly in the second category. Chef and owner Luciano Cibelli doesn't just cook, he composes. Every dish feels intentional, grounded in beautiful ingredients sourced from local farmers, and elevated with a kind of restraint that lets flavor of his ingredients lead. The result is food that is elegant without trying too hard and is exactly what perfection tastes like. The risotto special? Dangerous. The kind of dangerous where you fully intend to share and then quietly abandon that plan three bites in. It was deliciously rich yet balanced, the kind of dish that makes conversation pause because everyone at the table is too busy having a moment. From the first course to dessert (all made in house), the entire experience felt like slipping into a small corner of Italy. It is unpretentious, warm, and deeply satisfying in that way only truly thoughtful food can be. Robin our server, guide, and overall gem of a human made the evening feel effortless. The kind of service that's attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without lecturing, and genuinely joyful. The Red Door isn't just a restaurant. It's a reminder that when care, craft, and incredible ingredients come together, something quietly magical happens.
