Back for seconds. Well I forgot to review them my first time around but I do remember enjoying the food and service on that visit a couple of months before this review. And unfortunately the second time coming here just dropped its score drastically. For this second trip, I got the fried chicken plate. Totally wish I didn't. Let's start positive. I loved the frozen veggies. No really, butter and garlic makes everything tasty. Add a little salt and I feel I could eat the veggies anytime. Let's start next with the negative. Those chicken strips are terrible. You can tell the meats have been frozen for sometime. The homemade batter doesn't stick to the tough meat. I can usually use a fork to cut through the meat but not this time. You would think you could see some juices when you cut into it. Well you can see the meat clearly.......DRY. I swear, this is like the chicken strips you get frozen in the Banquet dinner boxes. Ok that's an unfair comparison, the chicken in the dinner box has more taste. Mash potatoes you can also tell comes from a box but that goes great with the watered down gravy. I'm lucky asked for more gravy. It's got used up with the chicken. And I don't want to talk about the bread covered with butter oil substitute. Enough said. Overall two stars. The place is clean and staff friendly. We came in late and I was hungry. I didn't order a pizza cuz they didn't have thin crust. I wasn't super hungry so I settled on a house salad. Although a sign says 'wait to be seated,' we waited quite a while before we were waved up to a counter where we ordered. Our food was brought to the table, but no drink refills were offered and no check was brought to us, so we finally went to the counter to pay. In short, service was minimal. There were a few vegetarian options and we got the vegetarian burger with fries which were about $16 each. The burgers were black bean and tasted fine but not special. The fries were fine. So if you are at one of the nearby hotels, this place is reasonably priced and ok, but not worth going out of your way to find. read more

I tried their 'Crust Burger' which is served with fries. The burger was delicious! The bun was perfectly toasted on the outside yet soft inside. Their fries are so yummy, seasoned just right. For dessert, I had their 'Carrot Cake' which went perfectly with my meal. That was one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. The restaurant is clean with a good atmosphere. Full bar with happy hour from 2 pm to 6 pm. I ordered To-Go and waited about 20 minutes for my meal. Service was great. Shout out to 'Brenda' who was very welcoming and friendly. They have mixed reviews but we gave it a shot. There was no wait but there are people constantly arriving.
