It looks great, it was remolded. Owner is really nice. Food is delicious. Plenty of parking. The owner is changing the hours. The orange juice is good and fresh.

Such a cute spot. Lots of parking is available in the front of the store! Inside is nicely decorated for the holidays. The food was so good. Bacon, gravy & biscuits, & breakfast potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was quick & friendly, not too busy the morning of Christmas Eve! I'll for sure be back since it's in Mission Valley hotel area.

Really good, chill and modern location right on the boulevard of Hotel Circle. We got Pizza last night (Deluxe) with the Pear & Gorganzola Salad Greens, which was phenomenal. We decided to come back for breakfast due to the look, vibe and food preparation. Come breakfast morning, we arrived early and a few customers were already eating. The server took a long time and I had to prompt her that we are ready. (-1 star) She lacked attention, service and following up our entire time. The food was again delicious and prepared clean and nutritional. Not complaints.

Tried someplace different today and went to Crust Kitchen in Fashion Valley. The service was outstanding with the waitress being very kind and efficient. The food was abundant and very tasty. The ambiance was an upbeat restaurant serving all three meals. With a bar and TVs to watch sports and news. Give them a try when you are out that way.

Located on Hotel Cir by Atwood Hotel along Interstate 8. Plenty of parking and near many hotels. I came here because I wanted a good Angus Burger, but this place has such a big variety of food items such as 'Pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, breakfast, and dinner plates'. I tried their 'Crust Burger' which is served with fries. The burger was delicious! The bun was perfectly toasted on the outside yet soft inside. Their fries are so yummy, seasoned just right. For dessert, I had their 'Carrot Cake' which went perfectly with my meal. That was one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. The restaurant is clean with a good atmosphere. Full bar with happy hour from 2 pm to 6 pm. I ordered To-Go and waited about 20 minutes for my meal. Service was great. Shout out to 'Brenda' who was very welcoming and friendly. She offered me iced water as I waited for my food. Overall, I had a pleasant experience here and will definitely return to try their breakfast as it looks appetizing.

Walked in to a wonderful Saturday brunch experience with the most wonderful server ever - shout out to Vera and her absolutely gracious and welcoming personality! We had the Mediterranean Omelette, Two Eggs and Sausage and the Agave Cream Soda. The meals were generously portioned with great flavors and fair pricing. We loved the retro modern vibe in the bright space. Vera checked in on us often with a bright sunny smile and topped up our soda and coffee, always checking if we needed anything else. Perfect service at a perfect venue. We will be back for sure Crust Kitchen!

Restaurant definitely has been around for years as it looks and has a nostalgic vibe, and can use quite a few upgrades. There is a bar and TVs, music was good and not too loud. The service was all right just thought it a little out of sorts as they didn't want to take your drink order unless they took your food order so if you're thirsty, you're gonna wait a minute it. Food came out in a recent amount of time. Presentation was fine and the food tasted good, as we really enjoyed the buffalo chicken fries the chicken is fried, both salads were nice side portions as well as kids chicken tenders. Had the carrot cake and it was delicious.

For our last night, we had reservations at a fancy rooftop restaurant overlooking the ocean... but after spending the entire day AT the ocean and being absolutely exhausted, we decided to just walk to CRUST KITCHEN which was adjacent to our hotel. It was PERFECT for us! Our friendly server gave some recommendations and we ordered two of them, definitely pleased with the decisions. Hubby had a lemon chicken and I went with the Paris burger. The flavorful piccata-esque sauce was on the side and I used it to dip his unwanted vegetables. (Haha) They were nicely cooked, soft enough, but still had an al dente bite to them. He enjoyed every bit of his chicken which he declared tender and well seasoned. My Paris burger was perfect! Cooked medium well, brioche bun, caramelized, onions, mushrooms and Gruyère cheese all deliciously worked together. I thought it would need some kind of green to cut the fat, but somehow, it didn't taste greasy at all. The fries were crispy and the beers were cold. Crust Kitchen was a good choice for certain!

The food was delicious, & the ambiance was welcoming and the owner was kind. My only issue was we felt forgotten once we got our food. I tried to get a water refill for 20 minutes to no avail and ended up taking my table mates as she had something else to drink.

Great experience Our server was very welcoming Chicken sandwich (crust chicken sandwich) Was great (4/5) Cooked well. Chips kinda sucked. Preference would be fries or something softer. Mac n Cheese fries were okay. (3/5) tasted like a loaded potato more then fries since they became soggy. But decent. Plenty of seating. I would definitely return.

The napkins I used to soak up the oil before I ate. Four napkins.

I ordered the corner beef eggs benedict and it was great portion size, flavor but two thing that didn't sit well. The eggs were supposed to be over medium but they were fully cooked instead. The amount of oil on the bottom of the plate was obscene. I tilted the plate to pool on a corner and I used four napkin to soak up most of it. Service is amazing, location for me is great. If it wasn't for the eggs and oil I would have given a 5. The service is worth the visit.

If you're staying near hotel circle in San Diego, Crust Kitchen is a nice casual restaurant to try. Many nice reviews for their pizzas and pies, but I decided to try the chicken fried steak. The steak was tender, and the mashed potatoes with brown gravy was very tasty. Awesome service and offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Walking distance from several near by hotels.

Cook little coffee shop. The staff was kind and very nice. Food was delicious lot of flavor with a good menu. Location is questionable next to a nasty motel with a lot of people lurking outside. I recommend for to go orders food was delicious

I am honestly surprised I have not written a review for this place yet, I found this place in 2021…read more I bring visitors here all the time, and it has become my ultimate comfort food spot. I tend to keep it simple and order the same items every time. My go to is the crispy Brussels for $14 and the chicken sandwich for $16, and I usually rotate in the parmesan fries for $10. While they do offer other dishes that are worth trying, these favorites always keep me coming back. The service and ambiance are consistently great. It is located in Hillcrest, so the area is always lively, which adds to the overall experience. The energy, combined with the quality of the food, makes it a reliable choice whether I am dining with friends or hosting out of town guests. Parking can be a bit challenging, but that is typical for Hillcrest. I usually plan ahead and look for street parking nearby.

Drinks wise, I got the blueberry bramble as well as the berries & cream (both vodka drinks). they were fantastic, so refreshing. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

"Over medium" eggs came barely cooked, still had clear egg gel floating around. The table next to us had the same issue. The fried chicken, which is beautiful looking, was strangely flavorless. Another table was also talking about this issue. Bacon was way overcooked as well. I also really dislike when food timing for a table is way off. I rather it stay in the kitchen under a heat lamp and come together rather that spend 5 minutes staring at my food being polite. So, for a fun "wow that's a ton of food" experience this is it. But I much prefer quality ingredients and attention to detail and flavor over unfinishable portions at a premium price point ($100 after tip for 2 ppl).

As he approached to seat us I informed him that the bus boy told us to seat ourselves and the server half jokingly asked who so I pointed to him. As for the food, we ordered sandwiches and fries. I got the turkey and brie sandwich with grilled onions and it was real carved turkey (so good). Unfortunately, the fries were soggy and not crispy and fresh. BFF had the Cubano sandwich and it was a good size but they put a thick piece of ham steak on it along with shredded pork that wasn't seasoned. He claims his fries were good and fresh. The ambience is cute, very clean and plenty of seating indoors and out for such a small restaurant. Prices are reasonable, too. The country burger Benedict was cooked beautifully but the meat was so bland. Not a speck of seasonings, which was a bummer because everything else was so good on it! Wasn't tooooo much looking forward to it, but it fit all the Birthday Dinner check marks and you can't down talk a place if you haven't been there. First. Listen. Everyone's using open table. But Fort Oak, tell Open Table to chill. I used open table to reserve about 4 days in advance, but still got a TON of emails, and a ton of notifications. Including one that, if I didn't respond to it, would cancel my reservation. Then 3 follow ups asking me to review Fort Oak. Haysuse on a pogo stick, that was almost a detractor from the actual dinner. Is this dinner or a past due bill sent to collection agency? I digress. First, our waiter Johny E, phenomenal. Dude knows wine in ways that are supernatural. Spot on recommendations. Second. Put on your Pulp Fiction "5 dollar shake" face about a 50 dollar pork chop. A FIFTY DOLLAR PORK CHOP. Waiter, who had already proven he know WTF was what, simply said "we're known for it, you will probably enjoy, people rave about it". So, I mean, when in Rome. Johny wasn't lying. It's a pretty @#$#ing good pork chop. Color me amazed. You can be skeptical. You might say I was just trying to justify having spent 50 on a pork chop. Try it. Stunning. I don't know if it's the best I ever had, but I can't remember a better one. Over all, they nail the experience, the food, and wrap it up in a bow. It is always busy, so a reservation is best (I'd call vice using that @#$# open table app, I swear). Shout out about Johny - in fact, ask for him to be your waiter, he a star.

When you've had as many - or more - margaritas than you, perhaps, should and want to try some delicious carbs and fats, head to PeB! Isaiah greeted us warmly, seated us and took our orders, while we sat back and talked. Vibe is neighborhood bar, but in a chilled way. Dimly lit and cozy. One guy was eating pizza and drinking beer at the bar while watching a sports thingy and another couple was at a table near the front, enjoying some wine and conversation. Hubs decided to change it up and ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, no protein added, which came with a house side salad and piece of garlic bread. I was happy to enjoy his salad - since he's allergic to veggies, dontcha know - and the House Salad was SO GOOD! I was surprised. I mean, it's just a house salad, right? But ingredients, prep and presentation can go a looooong way, when done with care and consideration, like they do at PeB. Mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers(shredded), pepperoncini(shredded), carrots(shredded), fresh Parmesan(shredded) and tossed in a signature PeB dressing which was a delicious balsamic! I don't even care for red peppers or pepperoncini, but having them shredded made all the difference! So simple, but so delicious! Hubs fettuccini was the same, simple but far far from basic. Really delicious, fresh cream sauce and perfectly cooked noodles. The garlic bread was a perfect ration of garlic and butter on a lightly toasted slice of heaven. MY PIZZA! Y'all, I know I'm a sucker for a Chicago deep dish, but that's not what I had here. Since Hubs was having pasta, I got to choose whichever thin crust, brick oven, wood fired pizza I wanted! I figured, go with something small, it's only 12", it's early, you can always reheat it later at the hotel. NO! I demolished that incredible concoction called the Buffa-Leo! It's a Buffalo sauce base with mozzarella, roasted garlic, grilled chicken, and another drizzle of Buffalo sauce AND ranch over the top, with a light and slightly crispy dough that was SO DELICIOUS I couldn't stop shoving it into my mouth! I have NEVER eaten an entire pizza by myself - THAT'S how good it was! To this day, I think about that Buffa-Leo. Yes, some with a tinge of guilt that I ate an entire pizza solo, but also with a wry smile, knowing I would definitely do it again. Cheers! "CC"
