WARNING: DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON - Techs have NO clue what they're doing! I wish I could give them zero stars! I wasn't able to get an appointment at my regular nail salon and tried Tutti at the recommendation of a friend. I made an appointment for a gel fill-in because I had 3-week old hard gel over my natural nails. I explained when I arrived that my left hand was completely hard gel over my natural nails, while my right hand had hard gel over 2 natural nails and 3 Apres Gel-X nail extensions to match the length of my other nails. I stated that I understood that they do not do Apres but that she could soak them off and replace with Acrylic nails. The staffed seemed really confused by the Apres (I don't think they had heard of it) and one tech even shrugged and refused to offer me service. I explained the situation again and was assured it would not be a problem. The manager, Alice, even repeated back to me what the service would be and confirmed she could do it. But once I sat down at the table I realized she had NO clue how to execute the service. She started by trying to soak off ALL of my nails, because she was not sure how to remove the Apres Gel-X nails. I suggested that she use acetone and foil. From that point on I had to recommend certain tools or techniques to complete the job. Alice also did not properly execute the gel fill-in; she left the gel lumpy and uneven in some places. Worst of all she completely ruined the almond shape my regular nail tech at Nailbed & Bar had done so beautifully. Alice could tell I was not pleased and charged me $50 for the $75+ service. When I got home one of my nails completely lifted - that was the last straw - I called and requested a refund (which was granted via CashApp). This was, hands down, the worst nail experience I have ever had. My 10-year-old daughter could have done a better job. Worst of all, the MANAGER did my nails. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Tutti is a complete rip off. Oh and 3 days later the gel on my right thumb completely fell off. See pictures. :( read more

NEVER AGAIN. do your research before you come to this salon. I asked for a fill-in and a pedicure. She literally soaked my entire acrylic off my nails as if I asked for a full set! I mentioned to her that I did not ask for a full set and was unsure why she removed all the acrylic. The spa for the pedicure started out really nicely with the ginger tea, hot rock, mud wraps n such. However she didn't do well at the ONE thing I came for....a freakin pedicure. She was nice but nice doesn't cut it when it comes to the service I wanted. An hour n half in, I had to request she just finish my pedicure and leave my nails alone. So at this point it's rushed. She was all over the place and none of the tools she needed was near her, further prolonging the service. I was heated because it took wayyyyy too long. 2 hrs later I payed $75 for this crap. The manager offered me a $10 gift card (nice) but I'll NEVER come here again. Then she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to leave a tip!!! Stop asking clients to leave a tip! It's such a turn off. Especially after you gave me a gift card, so you knew I wasn't happy with the service. That was dumb. read more

Very rude manager! I came in to the nail salon and asked for a meni pedi and one of the workers told me if I want I can come back in 20 minutes and I made an appointment. I came back 20 minutes later and then the manager looked at like yes what do you want! She gave me a very an unwelcoming look like what the fuck do you want!! And then I told her I have an appointment and then I saw the worker who knew about my appointment and said yes she has an appointment so the manager then exchanged a look with the other worker like a I'm gonna kill you kind of look!!!!! And then Diana who was nice she did my meni pedi but she's not at all professional and her work is not nice at all!! I had to teach her what do!! I don't think they really have experience!! When I was ready to leave and I have paid before she painted my nails the manager with a forceful smile told me did you pay? I said yes I did and then she rudely ask me for the tip! .... seriously it's a waste of money!! read more

I went here on a whim because I wanted to see if this place was as good as the nail place down by the food court. It wasn't. I got a acrylic full set saturday 2/23, and already my nails have lifted! Granted I have small nail beds so the lady glued it extra for me, but they still lifted. When a tech at Modern Nails and Spa did my nails I got 2 months before any lift occurred, and she didn't glue the nail extra. I wasted $70 and now since I'm back at school i can't have them redo it or anything of the sorts. read more

Had an amazing pedicure. Probably the most thorough pedicure I've had in my entire life. The nail lady took her time, was sweet, and took off months of pre-covid pedicure dead skin. The menu is pricey, but you really get what you pay including, hot towel wraps, leg masks, hot stone massage, meticulous cuticle clipping and and very good foot scrubbing. My feet feel amazing. NOPE! Never again. I just paid $45 for a mani/pedi for my 9yr old daughter. I have a job interview on Monday and really needed my nails done. We were at the mall already so I decided to splurge on this overpriced nail shop. I asked how much a kids mani/pedi costs and was told $12 for the manicure and $28 for the pedicure. These are regular prices in a lot of places so you can imagine how much my services were. Once thing that irks me is when places charge substantial amounts for kids but still act like they don't have to provide proper service to them. Every single customer in the salon was offered a tea or water except my daughter. Let that sink in....they don't offer anything to a CHILD because I guess the $40 they charge doesn't cover a drink. You know what else it doesn't cover? Alternating colors of polish on each toe(see photo). I'm not talking about two polishes on one toe. No, red on one then black on the next a so on. This costs an extra FIVE DOLLARS! I have been getting my own nails down for 25 years and take my daughter to have hers done regularly. She's always trying new colors and expressing her style. I have never had a nail shop charge me extra for using 2 colors. So, if you go here just remember that the $28+ pedicure only includes 1 color. Be careful, this place will nickel and dime you on everything. You know what they failed to do? Give me a $5 discount because I didn't get polish on my nails. I also did not appreciate being harassed for a tip while checking out. I was standing there ready to pay and the lady points to a sign about how they appreciate cash tips and says, "do you have cash for tips?" I said no. She's says "okay, do you want me to put it on the card". Then states that I need tips for 3 people and starts naming them and what services each provided. That's tacky! Do better. I am new to the DC area and decided to go to Tutti (despite of the prevalent bad reviews) because I was running errands at Pentagon City Mall. When I first came in, the receptionist was very attentive and led me to a station with Hannah (great manicurist). Hannah was super friendly, detailed, delicate, and great at her job. Great not only because she does a great manicure but also because when I sat with her you can notice she enjoys her job and has a joy in what she does. I am a foreigner and I've never really enjoyed manicures in the US (manicurists usually try to meet the bare minimum in service with a "doing the motions" attitude and I also find paying $30+ for a manicure a bit much... but I guess America right?). But this was by far the best manicure I had in the United States. Worth every penny- so much to the point that I'm going out of my way to review this place on Yelp and help them with their rating. To all the people who had a bad experience in Tutti- I feel bad but I encourage you to give it a second chance. read more

I really had a good time in tutti nail shop and best service ever! All the nail products that they use are high quality. Very clean and nice interior not like usual nail shops. Save your $ and don't go here. My regular place was packed so I went here instead. The girl did a horrible job on my cuticles so before she painted them I asked her to please go back and remove more and that I would tip her well if she went back and did more. She told me that my cuticles were like that because I'm unhealthy (which couldn't be further from the truth) at the end that she would fix and to trust her she's been doing nails 16 years OK lady! I have been getting my nails done at least every two weeks for the last five years so I k ew she was going to try to throw some cuticle oil on them and moisturize them just to make it appear it had all been cut off and that's exactly what she did. When she went to put it on I stopped her and said you said you would do more cuticles and she acted like she never said that and then pointed to the cuticle oil so I said no, just leave it, I will fix it myself when I get home. Paid $39 just to have to go home and fix them myself now. Go anywhere else this lady was horrible and her attitude was worse. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Don't waste your time and your money on this place. I went here last night, November 21, 2019, as I was desperate for a mani and pedi. I went to Modern Nails first but there was a 30 minute wait so I came here. I paid $69 for a regular mani and pedi ($19 for mani, $35 for pedi, $15 for callus treatment). I paid extra for the callus treatment and nothing was done except the lady put the special lotion on my feet, and she didn't even scrub it so I paid extra for nothing. The lady was super slow not because she was meticulous in cleaning my nails but because she had no clue how to do nails! I feel like she was hired from the street and I wouldn't be surprised if she's not a licensed nail technician. I got there at 6:45PM and didn't get out until a little after 9PM. It was so late. I had no choice but to be patient with this lady to finish her job. I don't know her name but it doesn't matter. I'm not going back to this place. She did a horrible job! Also, when the manager was closing for the day, around 7:30PM, she asked me to pay first even if the service was not done. I did not mind paying ahead as I understand she had to leave the salon. So I gave her my credit card to charge $69. I signed the CC slip and the manager asked me if I want to add the tip to the total. I told her no, I will decide when the service is done. I told the manager that a tip is discretionary depending on the type of service I received. She asked again if I want to add a tip, again I said no. Then she asked if I have cash so I can tip the nail technician and at this point, I told her it's none of her business if I tip or not. The manager was pretty much harassing me to tip her staff. I stood my ground and I ended up not tipping because this whole experience with Tutti Spa and Nails was so horrible! The look and the ambiance of the salon is beautiful but that's all they can offer. You can look at the salon from the outside because it's nice to look at but once you go inside, the service is sub par and expensive. It's not worth it! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. When I read reviews I always wonder why people don't leave but I get it now because we only usually go to random places last minute. I walked in and asked for a gel pedi and already had gel on my toes. I sat down in the chair and waited 10 mins before being serviced as 2 nail techs were doing each other's nails. My nail tech, Joy wrapped my toes with barely enough acetone and filed the gel on my toes with a dull file that didn't allow the acetone to penetrate. She then proceeded to use the metal file scraping against my nail as hard as possible to get the gel off. Then went on to tell me my nails were weak and they all need to be cut off. Okay... I've never been alerted to this issue before. So I ask if I should still get gel or I should just get regular polish. Her response was, "you choose." To which I replied I'm asking for your advice since this is your expertise. Now my already small toes have non existent toe nails and are filed unevenly. Please avoid this shop if you can. read more

I have been to Tutti twice now, and I find myself to be quite satisfied with their services. On my first visit, I received a regular manicure. It lasted much longer than any other I've received. Although it is kinda pricey at $19, it's totally worth it. I went back to the salon yesterday, and received an SNS manicure. I paid $50, which is comparable to other salons. So far, it looks great and I hope it will continue to last. It is also worth noting that the salon is kept very clean, and they use sterile tools to cut and shape your nails. 2 tips I would give to people coming here would be to ask for a rewards card (Yes, they have a bonus system!) and ask to not have your cuticles cut. I felt this salon was clean, they appear to use good products. By this I mean NOT refilling nail base coat bottles, etc with cheap, from a large bottle, made in China, with unknown ingredients. (IF YOU HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED HOT NAILS UNDER THE LIGHT WITH GEL POLISH THIS IS WHY. ) This salon uses a fingernail file and buffer just for you, and they have a points reward system. Pay in cash and get double points! Only thing that was a problem...the staff there are difficult to speak to. Don't speak or understand english well. read more

I went to DC for business and I was flying home the day of the Marine Corps ball. I wouldn't have time to get them done before the ball when I got home so I came here while I was gone.
