I chose not to complete the form and was told that without it, I could not check in. I understood and decided to leave. As I was walking out, I was told that if I canceled my appointment, I would be charged a $35 cancellation fee. I never authorized a credit card to be kept on file, so I was shocked to later discover that my husband's credit card had somehow been charged. My concerns are: 1. How did the office obtain my husband's credit card information and charge it without my authorization? 2. If completing this medical form is now a mandatory requirement, why wasn't I informed of that when I made the appointment over the phone? I spoke with the same employee who later attempted to check me in. Had I been told about this new policy beforehand, I would have canceled the appointment before making the trip and avoided both the inconvenience and the $35 fee. I've been a loyal client for around two years, and this experience was incredibly disappointing. The lack of communication, combined with charging a credit card that I never authorized to be on file, is unacceptable. This is not how long-time clients should be treated.

When I went back to my original stylist a couple of months later, she said "Wow! This is an amazing haircut. Where did you get his done?". This was years ago. So today I am going to another part of the country and am looking for a salon in Las Vegas and remembered Helen. I'm half Asian with naturally curly hair. I do not like Deva Cuts. Helen cut my hair so I could wear it straight or curly and it looked incredible.

I arrived at the cozy salon after a short walk through the lobby of the Crystal Towers apartment building and an elevator ride to the ground floor. I was paired with a nail technician who appeared to be learning the ropes. Not an ideal situation and one I would have thought twice about had I realized beforehand! I encountered a series of mishaps during my appointment. The nail technician nicked my right pinky finger. Also, the color that I selected was so diluted that it required four coats and resulted a lumpy mess. The technician took the initiative to redo the manicure even though it delayed her schedule. I appreciated her commitment to providing a quality manicure instead of a subpar one resembling a toddler's work. The owner kindly offered an alternative nail polish color from a different nail polish brand. Throughout my visit, I noticed a few customers (presumably regulars) getting haircuts. While the styles weren't anything special, the clients seemed happy with the results. With two pedicure stations, two manicure stations, and some hair stations as well, this salon is clearly a hodgepodge of different services. My visit served its purpose; however, I would not go out of my way to get my nails done here again.

I went to Metropolitan Nail Bar for a dip polish removal and a new dip manicure. During the removal process, the technician left acetone on my nails for over an hour without checking on them, while working on other clients. My nails began to burn and became very painful. When she returned to remove the remaining polish, I told her it was hurting, but she didn't acknowledge or respond. She then aggressively filed the tops of my nails, to the point where they felt extremely thin, sensitive, and were burning. When applying the new color, there was a noticeable line between where the polish was and wasn't applied. I pointed this out, and she seemed visibly frustrated. Although she added more color, her tone and demeanor came across as annoyed and dismissive. For the next two days, my nails continued to burn, but I was too worried to use more acetone to fix anything, so I left them alone. Once my nails started to grow out, I went to my usual salon to have the dip removed. As I suspected, my nail beds had been filed down excessively. There is now a clear difference between the new growth and the previously filed areas, and my nails are now weak and breaking. Overall, this was a painful experience with lasting damage to my nails. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

I found eleven 11 studios on Yelp after doing intense research. I read all the reviews and also it is very close to where I live. My experience in a nutshell: Morgan, the owner and lash specialist, is sincere, kind, and amazing businesswoman/person. I applaud her for being very sincere to her art. She told me that she gets tested every week to ensure that her clients are in safe hands. I was impressed by her great personality and we could literally talk about anything! She made me feel at ease during the appointment. Getting to the location was pretty straightforward, lots parking, and appointment is on time! The store is super nice and clean. I will also add that it smells amazing and she even offered me a drink! If you are a new client, you get $10 off your first appointment. I got the "midi" which means the extensions are placed on every other last of my upper lashes. Next time, I will try the hybrid to get volume! Price was reasonable, staff was great, place was safe and clean, parking seamless, and service was good. She even gave me a care card and extra lash brushes for maintaining my lashes. Highly recommend Eleven 11 studios!
