Stumbled upon Azalea nails the other week and decided to finally pop in for a manicure for an event I was attending the next day. Pros: My nail tech was very personable, the salon was very nice looking inside, plenty of parking, accept appointments, a variety of nail polishes, and mood changing polish. Cons: I received a gel manicure and four of my nails chipped within two days of getting them done, I did not see them take the tools out of fresh packaging or barbicide, and even with an appointment I was not seen until 30 minutes after my appointment time. (The polish I received was mid changing which is why it's different colors in the picture) read more

I had a really nice service and the ladies were very nice. I did gel french both manicure and pedicure. I am not commenting on their service but i paid $109 for my mani and pedi (including service fee idk i had to pay that) but the gel started breaking after not even one week. I repaired one nail after 5 days but the rest are literally breaking after 10 days. I have done gel before and it usually doesnt break this way or this soon! read more

I've been to this location three times. The first time Lucas did my nails and he did a really good job. My nails didn't ship and they lasted two weeks. The next two times my nails were done by women whose names I didn't get but their work was terrible. For example, this last visit: Saturday, December 7th I got some a manicure for a party. They started chipping the next day. Because of work and other responsibilities I was unable to get back to the nail salon until the following Saturday December 14 (2 days ago). Every single nail chipped or peeled in that first week. When I came back I asked for the same nail tech to fix my nails. It was my way of letting her redeem herself. Plus, this time i got a pedicure. She replaced two badly chipped nails but only added a top coat to the other nails(?!). I'm not a nail tech so I don't stay up on the latest techniques, but what she was doing didn't seem right. I went with it anyway. These gel nails didn't even last a whole day they started chipping within four hours. The topcoat that she put on all the nails she didn't fix have all started to peel (see photo). So, needless to say I am disappointed. But I'm going to use this as a learning lesson. If I go back to Azalea now I will make her a call ahead of time and only asked for Lucas because I don't have the time to go back to nail techs who waste my time. read more

I was really disappointed with my pedicure appointment today. I had an appointment and they said they were running behind so I said that's fine and that I was ok with waiting a little bit. NBD. I waited 20minutes before being seated in a pedicure chair and then waited another 10minutes for a technician to start with me. I would say that's more than a "little bit". Fine, let's say you're busy because it's the end of the year. But my technician just kept trying to upsell me on a pedicure when I'm 9months pregnant and mentioned I didn't want a massage since pressure point massages can induce early labor. My pedicure turned out messy and I didn't feel like she shaped my toe nails at all. They are sharp and uneven on every toe and even my husband said it looked messy when I got home. I definitely will not be returning to an establishment that can't take care of their customers. This was my first time visiting Azalea and I wish I went elsewhere for my last pedicure before my baby arrives and I'm kinda stuck at home for a bit. Very disappointing. read more

I've been a customer at Azalea nails for a few years and have finally reached the end of the line with them. The last few months, the customer service has been just terrible...with the front desk as a primary culprit. I've been left on hold, with the sound on, for several mins, while I listened to the front desk serve other customers and chat amongst themselves and then they wondered why I didn't want to make an appointment. Another good example is, I made an appointment with a specific nail tech and when I got there, she had gone home early. The front desk told me that they called me but when I showed them my phone with no missed calls, they tried to argue with me. The powder manicure that I got from the substitute was just not as good as my original tech. I get my nails done at least once a month and it costs a minimum of $50 (excluding tip and tax) for a powder manicure. For that, I would hope for a better experience. read more

I wanted to start out Pride month with my annual rainbow manicure. I haven't been since the October before the pandemic started. Azalea Nails & Spa has always been a favorite and is amazing at adding that extra sparkle from the moment you walk in the door. Joanna did this manicure and used 10 polishes to create this gel set. Well...I've been here several times and this was by far the worst experience. I asked for a pedicure and the nail tech completed my pedicure in 15 mins. I'm not sure WHY she was in a rush. This place was awful, from the customer service to the quality of their service. My nails look awful, they charged an extra $20 for a simple flower, and then the other lady couldn't even attempt the flower. The acrylic itself is extremely thick, and uneven. They also charged and extra $5 for shape, which I have never heard of. I've been getting my nails done for YEARS. On top of that my nails aren't even shaped. When trying to have a conversation or tell the lady what I wanted she completely ignored me. I had called to set up an appointment with them at 7, wasn't seen until 8:30. I'm just getting around to reviewing because I had surgery right after visiting. I'm giving them 2 stars only for options with their pedicures. They have all the bells and whistles for spa pedis. Now DO NOT GET ANY MASSAGE ADD ON HERE! Especially with Sunny. I'm not a small woman and she grinded into my shoulders so badly I had to ask her to stop because it hurt. I'm not sure why she thought what she was doing was relaxing but it absolutely was not. I had a small place on my back already (probably a bite) and she completely ripped the skin off. I also had a low dress that came to my shoulders so visually she HAD to see it and what she was doing to my back in the process. When I returned home I complained that my back hurt and was told that the skin was bruised/ripped. It's finally starting to heal. See picture. I'm sure you can imagine what it initially looked like. I was trying this place out since it was closer to my home but I will not be returning. *UPDATE* Owner messaged me (they probably knew not to respond directly like other reviews) advising they know Sunny is strong and blamed it on being a deep tissue massage. I've had several deep tissue massages where they managed not to harm me. They also advised Sunny no longer works there. No offer of a re-do, discount...simply told me to get a cheaper pedicure where a massage wasn't involved. Yes that's the solution for you all's lack of skill set. When I requested for a half refund because I was dissatisfied with the final result the manager refused because she claimed nothing was wrong with my nails. Will never return again. As a young adult I should have spoke up more but I was being worked on by an older lady but the store was very empty and she was the only available nail tech. I gave her numerous chances to try different nail ideas that overall she could not accomplish after 2 hrs. After spending so long without getting what I initially asked for I left with solid nails and they still charged me full price. Instead of understanding my dissatisfaction and giving me a half refund because I was still being serviced, the manager rather argue with my mother and I about how my nails were fine and nothing was wrong. She did an athletes pedicure for me with gel polish she did assist me in picking and helped me understand costs. She was great I didn't have to wait walked right in.. the bathroom there was weird they have some high tech toilet w bidday but I couldn't figure out how to flush and no napkins stocked. I visited this location twice because of the close proximity to my home. Because of the convenience, I hoped it would work out. The first visit was for a full set and pedicure. The nail tech was nice and seemed eager, however once I got outside I noticed a few missed places of the white powder dip on the sides for my pink and white (french) manicure. Annoying but I continued on. I came back for a fill on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was empty, however I was asked to make an appointment. I can only assume there was no one there to fill my french powder manicure. No biggie. I made an appointment for the next morning and when I come in, it appeared again that no one could do the fill. I assumed, due to me scheduling, that someone competent would be available. The man that ended up doing it did not at all seem like he wanted to do my nails. The work was sloppy and the polish was uneven. This should have been a powder dip fill, so I'm not entirely sure why he didn't fix the white places with powder. He instead applied uneven nail polish on the tips and indicated he was told only fill the top of the nails. For a $50 fill, it's very disappointing. This was my first visit and won't be my last! The salon had a calming atmosphere and was very clean. I was offered a beverage and fruit after I sat down in the pedicure chair. Sunny did a fabulous job on both my pedicure (regular polish) and manicure (dip powder). I had seen glowing reviews for her here and am glad I listened. If it's your first time getting the dip polish -- as it was for me -- she's definitely the one to see. You wouldn't expect such a large interior and expansive offering this place would have from the front of the building. Their services span from massages, nails, wax, eyelash extensions, makeup and more- talk about a one stop shop for everything!
