The first time the I went to get this design done it wasn't the same as the picture I showed them. It was too thick and it wasn't the same length. I wasn't frustrated or anything, but more of unsatisfied with the results I got. I came back after work to get it redone by my original nail tech but it was too late. So I asked them if I could reschedule it with my original nail tech on the weekend and they agreed because I was unsatisfied and unhappy with my nails. I went to get my nails redone by Emmy, she's my original nail tech for Gel X. And she did fantastic. I've been coming back to her because she knows what I want. I've been a customer at both locations since 2014, but my experience today is NOT how you treat loyal customers. I'm pissed, so it's a long one... On Monday, 12 June 2023, I booked an SNS refill and basic pedi with Emmy. Before noon on 13 June 2023, I had 4 broken nails, so I called that afternoon to schedule another appointment for the following day. I spoke to Peter - the Owner - and he stated that Emmy would be off on Wed and to come in at anytime on Thursday. On Thursday, after work, I called while on my 45-minute drive to the salon and the receptionist said that Emmy had gone home sick. I stated that another Tech could repair my nails, but the receptionist was adamant that only Emmy could complete the repair. I then stated that another Tech could redo all of my nails because I needed my nails done, but the receptionist said that I'd have to pay for a complete service. I stated that I would NOT be repaying and had been more than accommodating waiting 2 days for these repairs. Peter was not at the salon, so after some back and forth, the receptionist relented and said that she would call him, then she abruptly hung up in my ear. When I arrived, initially Hannah was to complete my repairs, but when I clarified that I would need tips on the 4 broken nails, she huddled with the receptionist and another Tech, Na. There was a discussion whether the 4 broken nails were my real nails or tips, because evidently, I would have to pay for tips if my real nails were 1 of the 4 broken nails. There was also a discussion because neither Hannah nor Na believed that one of my nails was intact, but was cracked. I stated that my nails were done for less than 24 hours before 4 broke and I wanted my nails all uniform. And again, I was not repaying for anything. After another huddle, Na completed repairs on 3 of my 4 nails, then another Tech applied the top coat, but she did not apply the top coat to one of the repaired nails. Afterwards, neither the mystery Tech, Na, Hannah nor the receptionist came to check on me to complete the service. No one turned on the fans to dry my nails. No oil on my cuticles nor lotion for my hands. This salon is too far and the services are too expensive for the disrespect. Do better. I got a dip manicure from Emmy with a gorgeous marble accent nail, and then the owner Peter offered to airbrush on a slight ombre to set it off - my nails have never looked so pretty, both techs were super gentle, careful, efficient, experienced, and kind. I wouldn't typically come here because of it being close proximity to my place. I would regularly get my nails done by Na and her work was decent. I would notice that they would change prices per visit and never thought much because of the pandemic and businesses trying to make a profit. I never complained paid/tipped. I would come on time or move appointment if I wasn't able to make it. I would be on time and still have to wait until Na would be done. I show up 7mins late and was refused service although there was no mention of that when I spoke to the receptionist as I'm driving to be on the way when she called to confirm. So, moral of the story don't come here for shit. It's very mid from the service to the nail work. I'm still in shock at her audacity. It's tucked away in a plaza anchored by Planet Fitness, so unless you're going there or the ABC, you'd probably miss it. Soon I was escorted back to a fabulous, plush, fancy massage chair - the kind used for pedicures equipped with a foot bath. I was in heaven! The problem here is that all my cuticles look the same and my toes look like they have not been freshly out of a spa/pedicure. This lady, literally only filed my nails, didn't even bother to clean my toes well, and the technique used to do the french tips absolutely made me just want to walk out of this place. Absolutely terrible. My nails, I asked for a dipping manicure, why she didn't bother to put my hands on water to make it easier for the cuticle removal? All she did was use the E file and put some Dipping on my nails, something I could've done at home myself....How are these people getting business, I was so frustrated and ready to leave this place and to put the cherry in top this service lasted almost 3 hours....How come? I will definitely never be coming back here again. I've been going to this place for months out of convenience but it's now safe to say i will never be returning. The gel on my nail starting literally peeling off after a week of getting my nails done. And the shape is horrible. I'm actually embarrassed to post a picture. So I went down and asked the manager if he would just fix the two nails and he REFUSED. Never asked for a brand new set for free, just to polish the two nails. It's obvious he only cares about money and not making his customers happy. I even brought my debit card to pay for the two nails, but he still refused. I am a faithful customer of this salon for 4 reasons. 1. This nail salon is EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. Especially for pedicure tubs that are jet free. Everything in here is light, bright, airy, and modern. I do not go anywhere else to do my nails for this reason alone. Even the bathrooms are spotless. 2. They have a wide variety of nail colors with matching gel options as well as dip powders. Their nail selection wall is well organized and easy to maneuver. This works well for a customer like me who wants to match both gel mani and regular pedi polish color options. 3. The wait is never too long and if you are waiting in the pedicure chair, the water can be nice and very hot (which is important for me). 4. Each technician does a great job shaping nails and trimming my cuticles (or not) depending on my mood. 5. Snacks, Tea, juice, soda, and water. The reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars. I wish they opened earlier (9 or 9:30am). I wish they had champagne . Some of the technicians are really friendly and warm. Some not so much. The front desk receptionist is very pleasant and there are some really nice technicians there. Every once in a while I get a good technician who is not the friendliest. That is okay to me as long as the work is good. For others who are about the experience, you might want to identify your technician and build a long term relationship with them. read more

I've been coming here for a while always have great experiences TODAY unfortunately I did not I asked for a basic French with butterflies on the ring finger. My cuticles where roughed up the side of my acrylics have dents in it and the French I received was horrendous. When I spoke up I got told some bullshit about my nails shape when the problem was with the color and how messy the white French tip was and blotchy. I was in the salon for 4 hour for nails I didn't even like and spoke up many times but was dismissed I ending up leaving with glittery nails. Worst part I actually had to PAY for these hideous nails . Lost a loyal client will never go back and not recommend anyone else going. So, Steven, y hni and Nicole (and the shop owner) are incredibly sweet and thoughtful. Very kind. Very gentle. Really reassuring and personable. Hannah and one other young lady gave me the first bad experience. I should even say, it wasn't just bad but maybe one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I've been a nail tech myself for nearly five years so I'm very familiar with the product and how to approach things. Because I did a design on myself that had flowers and gold in it, it had 1-2 more coats of polish than typical. Slightly thicker. You need to take your time to slowly remove a larger build up but can't go quickly so you don't risk burning the client because it's not like an artificial nail (acrylic or hard gel). Because I have very delicate, long nails and the work was intricate; Hannah did not believe it was my nails. She said continuously she did not believe me. Because she did not believe me, she kept using the drill file too hard and burned me multiple times. She kept sucking her teeth, sighing and talking to the person next to her. To give benefit of doubt, I didn't say anything. The woman next to her started pointing at me and pointing at my nails so then I decided to say something. I asked if my input was needed, which spiraled into the woman next to her yelling at me and saying I was lying and that I made so much harder for Hannah. Hannah was rushing through the filing while also doing it aggressively so the top coat wasn't evenly removed, so the soaking didn't do much which did in fact extend the time she was filing my nails but that's no fault of mine. I, very calmly and continuously, asked why she was speaking to me like this and why I was being treated like this. When I given this chance to speak and with such reason, Hannah stopped speaking and so did the woman next to her. I asked why they suddenly wouldn't even respond and the woman next to Hannah only said "I don't want this conversation to restart so I'm not responding". The woman next to Hannah did this all while she ALSO had a client. The client was completely silent but I was so confused at the total occurrence. I spoke to the manager of the shop and he apologized explaining that she rushes sometimes and doesn't pay attention but I just don't understand the heightened response when I'm being perfectly reasonable and you're in customer service. When I was switched to y hni, she removed the polish in under five minutes. Effortlessly. Because she treated it like polish, with care and with knowledge of the product. She was polite, courteous and apologetic! My manicure was then finished in maybe twenty minutes. I've never been treated so poorly in a nail salon, it was so confusing especially since I did nothing deserving of the extreme reactions. If you go, just avoid Hannah and try to see if the person you're getting is understanding and knowledgeable of the product (if I could remember her name, I'd tell you of the other one as well). **Four stars is reflective of all my other good past experiences but sheesh read more

This past x-mas, I received a gift card for a mani/pedi at Healthy Nails Spa II. The service would have been fine, if the technician didn't make me bleed 4 times. The first 2 cuts occurred while the tech was giving me my pedicure. They were both along the lines of my cuticles. The next 2 cuts occurred during my manicure. While buffing my pinky, I announced my discomfort because she sanded down my skin. She's only notice that she was cutting me when I'd stated bleeding, and her response to all the cuts was that I must "have sensitive skin." No, lady: when you sand someone's skin or are rough with cutting their cuticles, they bleed. This is the first time this has happened to me while getting my nails done. And I think she felt pretty bad, but I feel the need to warn others about the service here. Aside from the cuts, the service here just isn't really that friendly. The place is aesthetically pleasing, but the techs aren't very warm or inviting. It wasn't an "experience" it's was simply me trying to get though the treatments. Also, also, the tech "forgot about me" (that's what she said) after leaving me at the drying station. I got to the salon at around 5:20 , and didn't leave until around 7ish. After all that, she visibly angry that I only tipped her 15%. 15% and my decision to stay the course of the treatments was more than this place deserved.
