This place is an unassuming restaurant across the street from the Westfield train station parking lot. Tutti Baci cafe doesn't sound like a place making really good Mexican fare. It's like the dude playing the the dude, disguised as another dude! The Family who now runs the place will eventually rename it. There's signage outside on of Mexican food. They still serve non Mexican food but I'm gonna stick to the good food. I ordered the chorizo and potato quesadilla and the fish tacos for lunch. Both items were affordable and very tasty. the salsa Verde provided was not as good as other places ive had but no biggie. I look forward to tacos Barria they will serve on Saturdays. I asked about tamales and wish they serve pozoleand tripe soup but I don't think Westfield are ready to digest that. Since 2008 I have always enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee, a breakfast sandwich, or a deli sandwich here served with a smile. Under the new ownership they have stepped up their game tremendously. Introducing their heritage not only on the menu but in their service. The Spanish menu items are delicious and made fresh by the family. The guac served up with warm freshly made chips. Marinated pork tacos, steak tacos and quesadillas came out garnished with lots of love and a few radishes and leeks. Obviously a family, time tested recipe that stands up to any competitors in the area. For now this is a diamond in the rough find, but by the taste of it, it won't be a secret for long. I congratulate the family for taking the risk, and thank them for introducing their specialties to the south side of westfield. A welcome addition that's bound to last. I wish I would have taken more photos but when the foods this good you can put it down before it's gone. read more

Been coming here for about 3 years now....my co-workers and myself order from here probably 3 or 4 times a week. Food is always fresh. And service is always friendly. Prices are very fair. They have lunch specials on the board daily that I usually try. The roasted chicken with rice is probably the best chicken I've ever had. They always have homemade soups too. They will pretty much make anything you ask for as long as they have the ingredients. If you ask for French Fries you actually get real potatoes cut up fresh and fried (no frozen fries here). They have the best iced coffee (their ice cubes are made from coffee, so no watered down coffee). They fill their cannolis fresh to order (they're my favorite dessert there) I don't particularly care for the cookies. Jerry, the owner, is very warm and welcoming. Israel is a great business owner and the food was fantastic . Don't let the decor stop you from trying this place. The omelette was delish and my decaf cappuccino was sensational. I walk past Tutti Baci every day after getting off the train. I was last there a few years ago and thought it was OK. I purchased a few cookies and an eclair. We tried the the cookies and eclair after dinner. Overall, everything tasted stale. I was not impressed. The jelly filled cookies were comparable to Entenmanns. Tutti Baci Cafe is located on the corner of South Ave. and Summit Ave., across the street from the train station. They have a full breakfast menu, and make panini sandwiches and salads for lunch. Their strong suit is their espresso bar, and their homemade pastries. I come here specifically for the sfogliatelle and the cheese danish, which are baked fresh every morning. Holy Cannoli! Filled upon request, chilled amazingness! Very friendly staff and a great selection. Located across from the train station. This is my favorite breakfast spot in town. I love the wraps, and the pastries are pretty delicious too. The service is great, and it always comes with a smile. Tutti Baci is a great coffee shop and cafe on the Southside of Westfield. It has become quite a local hangout to get breakfast and lunches. Everyone knows everyone. It's like the Cheers of Westfield. The coffee, espressos and cappuccinos are always fresh - best coffee that I have been able to find in town and apparently lots of folks agree. If you are looking for a good breakfast, coffee or wrap, this is your place. Want to sit down and chat with some folks around town then stop by and get to know everyone. I want to also comment on some of the negative reviews. I live close by and frequent Tutti Baci on a daily basis since it opened. It was originally opened as an Italian Cafe, but that was the original owners. The new ownership has morphed it into breakfast and lunch cafe which has been more sustainable and successful than the original business model. If you are looking for an Italian-Italian deli, then try Benvenuti in Garwood. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, breakfast sandwich or wrap, stop by and visit Tutti Baci. I had a cream puff here, which was pretty good. However, the place itself is quite shabby, and the girl behind the counter was so listless.

I really don't understand all the good reviews. The cookies we had were OK, at best. The sandwich I ordered was grilled chicken, fresh mozz, and roasted peppers on focaccia. It came with shredded lettuce, and unripened tomato..ummm, no thanks! Why can't I get the sandwich just as is stated on the blackboard?? The focaccia was freezing cold and had more unripe tomato and hard cold cheese on top of it.This is a bakery and deli, and thats your focaccia...ughhh! My friends sandwich was only OK, the roast beef and horseradish...she said the roast beef was tasteless and gray. Yuck! Will not be back. read more

Had a few extra minutes before my train so I stopped in on a whim for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. For $4.24 I wasn't overly impressed. I asked for salt and pepper, but it seemed like only half the sandwich had it heavily while the other half had none. The sausage was chopped into bits and there wasn't as much there as most other places will include. I didn't try anything else, but the place looked nice enough and the staff was friendly. I've had a few SEC sandwiches in Westfield and I still think Hershey's Deli is the best. read more

I ordered a mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, and basil sandwich. There was A (as in one) slice of mozzarella, a few tomatoes, and no basil at all. A brownie bite was super-dry and without question old. Place looks nice from the outside and is convenient to where I live so I tried it for a sandwich. Wasn't too thrilled as I stood at the counter area with a view to the prep area in the back and saw a Spam box on the underside of a table. This cute cafe is down the street from my office. I stopped in after lunch one day for a treat with my aunt. They have a huge selection of cookies and other baked goods, but I decided on a vanilla cupcake. It was very good, and my aunt really enjoyed her cookies. They have good coffee, and I noticed a sign advertising personal pizzas and paninis, so I'd like to come back for lunch. The staff was friendly and there's plenty of seating. Good place! read more

I agree with the other poster, the Cannoli's are to die for. Made fresh for you...perfect to pick up a bring to a dinner party...call ahead and they can make you as many as you want. I have been going to Tutti Bacci for over 8 years now, and although it has changed owners 2 times, I still call this place 'my coffee shop' and go there about 4 mornings a week after I drop my kids off at school. It is sort of a 'Cheers' without the alcohol. The decor could use some work, but I go there for the friendliness of Jerry (the owner) and the 'usual suspects' of the morning crew you get to know. The espresso bar, pastries and cookies are great (especially the Linzer cookies) - warm and yummy. You want the chocolate croissant? Ask for it slightly heated. You want a focaccia sandwich? Aske for it to be extra crispy! If you treat the staff respectfully, they will get you anything you want!, or make you anything you want (as long as they have the ingredients). Need some good ole fashioned pasta? Purchase a couple of bags to take home in addition to the sausage and peppers you can grab to make a meal. It's an eclectic mix of food and characters! Is it a Bovella's? No, but the coffee and cookies are definitely much better (and I'm a connoisseur of cookies!). If you are looking for an upscale bakery....this isn't it. But if you are looking for a nice, old-fashioned Italian coffee shop, want to sit down and read the paper while enjoying your cappuccino and Linzer cookie (that's me), then you are at the right place.
