I've never had someone in my 20 years of having glasses bend the front part of the frame so aggressively either. EDIT: After going to another eye doctor, I've been told it's likely they were being lazy, did not remove the lenses while heating the front of the frame which isn't common practice, and now the anti reflective coating is burnt.

With new prescriptions in hand, we took a number and were soon assisted by Liam and Melisa, then later Alex. I lost the vision in my left eye (optic neuritis, MS) Melisa was able to give me a significant discount considering I would be using only one lens. It wasn't till I ordered then tried the progressive lenses that I realized they simply could not work for me. Having only one working eye, trying to keep my head always pointed in the direction that I was looking was impractical. As progressive lenses to varying degrees will always have a little blur to the sides of the lenses, reducing overall visual field. When we had come back to make a return/exchange, Alex was able to explain the Progressive limitations and kindly assist me in getting a new pair of glasses. Considering the odd location, I was very impressed with the overall quality of assistance throughout this glasses buying process, and my particular needs.
