The hostess greeted me warmly and allowed me to browse the menu at my leisure without feeling rushed. The seating was spacious, and the self-serve bar area offered plenty of room. The decor and vibe evoked an early 60s charm, though the playlist featuring early 2000s hits was a quirky mismatch, yet, honestly, it grew on me and seemed to add a lively edge to the meal. The menu was straightforward, offering a tempting selection of chicken sandwiches and biscuit dishes. After some thought, I settled on the chicken ranch, it was ready in less than five minutes! The "Porch Sipper" drink was delightful; I ended up ordering a second, as its flavors transported me to open Kentucky fields, sitting on a wraparound porch on a warm summer day, savoring the music and gazing at the blue summer sky. The experience was truly immersive. And I must say, the staff radiated positive energy, they seemed genuinely happy to be there, which makes a difference when dealing with thousands of travelers daily. Jacob's Pickles is definitely a must-visit spot when passing through JFK Terminal 5.

Great buffet options any time u are stopping by. Open bar is great & food options varied depending when u are flying. Great breakfast option, love me a nice mimosa before boarding always helps with sleep come the flights. Staff is usually nice & attentive , a lot to choose from. They also have a nice outdoor seating area, where u can relax & watch the planes. This is one of the better Delta lounges because of its size & amenities, when traveling a try to make sure I always have time to visit the lounge worth the visit everytime.

This location is very nice. Around 1 pm, not as crowded and place is kept very clean with lot of crew. Food is better, lot better than Atlanta location. Served on a nice plate and also metal utensils. Had a separate salad station. Attendant will help with making a nice plate. Also have a large bar area staffed with several bartenders. Also noticed a lady setting up Nathan's hot dog station opening up at 2:30 pm. Gotta try that one! Hot and cold food sections, attendants were were friendly and attentive which was a big plus. On the floor, dirty dishes were taken away promptly and seating ready for the next customers. There are smaller food stations spread throughout so walk around to check out. Dedicated Starbucks at the one end, soft drinks at the other. Highly recommend.

Best place to eat in an airport!…read more We had a lot of time before our flight and this place was right next to our gate. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. It's classy and upscale. Lots of crown moulding and beautiful wood trimming. The menu is very big! It's great to have options when dining in the airport! We were sat pretty quickly considering there was a line waiting to ask for a seat. We were sat right next to the kitchen which I wasn't too crazy about but I don't think my husband even noticed. He ordered the seared tuna for an entree and the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. I ordered the salmon for lunch. My husband LOVED his tuna! It was perfect. I really liked my salmon too. It was a delicious, healthy choice. Set on a bed of wilted spinach and came with a lemon wedge, it was very tasty. We each had a glass of wine as well. Our bill was a little over $200 after tip, so it can be a bit pricey but we would definitely go here again. The only issue I had was that after finishing my wine you could see that it was dirty. It still had red wine stains in it. I used to work in the restaurant industry and I know the glasses just go into a dishwasher; but as an upscale restaurant you have to check the glasses! You cannot give your customers glasses with lipstick stains on them or a glass that looks dirty in any other way. The dishwasher doesn't always do the best job.

I cannot say the same for another bartender with red hair and a bun who was super rude, and ignored me and all other customers many times. Instead of trying to do any work she was constantly chatting with another coworker. I know there's a labor shortage but i just felt it was so unfair that one woman was working so hard while two others did nothing! Also the food and drinks in this place are not even close to being worth $19-$20 for cocktails and $65 for steaks.
