I attempted to order a Samsung TV on Amazon during their Black Friday Deals. The third-party seller…read morethat was supposed to handle the delivery was named Modia. Amazon and Modia immediately charged my card. However, Modia never delivered my tv. The delivery date was continuously pushed back with no communication regarding why. At one point, a delivery driver texted me saying they wanted to deliver the TV "tomorrow," but I was unavailable at the recommended time. Later that week, I asked when delivery would be attempted again. Modia then made up a story about the tv being magically damaged so they were having it RE-shipped from a far away location. After 3 weeks of delays between Nov.21 - Dec. 9, I finally demanded a refund. The refund was completed. Then I posted a negative review on Amazon explaining that Modia never delivered my tv. Modia then called me repeatedly, asking me to take down my negative review in exchange for a $200 gift card. If you view Modia's customer reviews on Amazon you will see numerous 1 star reviews that now have a strikethrough them because those customers likely agreed to remove their accurate negative review.

Sig's selection is wide and they have crate after crate filled with alphabetically arranged records from all musical genres. The upstairs is a cool, attic-style loft dedicated to true oldies. I didn't spot an elevator, so fair warning to those with vintage knees like myself. There's street parking and you can pull up right in front of the shop. The records at Sig's aren't cheap, but you aren't just buying music, you're buying into Houston's storied sound.

We purchased an expensive box set, the "Who-Who are you?" from this store for a Christmas Gift. The…read morewrap was not opened until this past weekend. When we tried to play the CD's in our high-end Marantz SA-11S1 audio player, it would not recognize any of the disks. Usually, we can insert CD's that look like they've been drug down the street and scratched badly, and they still play, but it would not play any of these. Nor would the CD players in our cars would recognize them. We checked the internet. There is a known issue with this Box set. We attempted to return it, we didn't wish for cash back; store credit would have been fine. But we were refused. We have been customers with Music town for over 40 years, and never once have tried to return anything. Anytime we walked in we would often spend over $1000. We enjoyed shopping there. Unfortunately, this is NOT how you treat your VIP customers. Or ANY customer. Stand behind what you sell or GTFO of the business.
