Rented a wheel chair to use for one day. the wheel chair was already in beat up shape with one arm wobbling which is unsafe, and a strap near the leg that was hanging loose. they called saying they claim the wheel chair wasn't in this shape once I picked up and wanted to charge extra $50 for fixing it. be careful if this scam place read more

I stopped here to buy a Dalton wheelchair for my mom who recently fractured her ankle. After my mom tried it out at home she didn't think it was the right one for her needs . So I went back to the store talked to the gentleman at the front desk told him my situation and had a chance to also talk to the owner. They listened to my situation and came up with a solution to better accommodate my mothers needs . The chair is made from very durable material that will surely last a long time. I cannot say enough about this business. JUDY! made my day and my life so much easier. My mom went into the hospital for brain surgery and should have been home in about 10 days but she got Covid-19 while in ICU and was coming home 95 days later. Mom was in rehab and I was advised at 630pm that she was being released in 2 days. I started calling around the next morning to find and purchase a bariatric wheelchair. Med Shop Plus was my 9th call in 30 minutes, trying to locate a 28 in. wide wheelchair and I could not wait for a delivery. Med Shop Plus did not have one in stock and I was about to hang up and Judy told me not to worry she would find one and make some calls for me. And she did! She found one with a supplier in about 1-1/2 hours, had it picked up and brought to their store by noon, and completed my purchase by phone. I was so relieved and the shop itself is gorgeous and resembles a high-end fashion boutique. It's relaxing, colorful, chic and in a very professional and caring environment....nothing like I've ever seen as far as medical supplies and medical equipment goes. I stopped here to grab donning gloves for my compression garments. They did have them in stock, and they were much cheaper than most online stores. They also had an adhesive I needed (It Stays) for almost half the price as online. However, I was a bit turned off by the staff engaging in negative comments about a patient's perfume who had just left the store...and apparently she was one of three that they felt the need to vent about in front of other customers. While I appreciate the prices and being able to get what I need quickly, the staff could be a bit more professional when holding their conversations in front of customers. Had that not occurred, I would have given them a higher rating. read more

I am a black handicapped female .3 1/2 mos. ago i called this company because the seat and arm rest was broke on my wheelchair.I spoke with Charles who said he was the owner and Karen in claims for Medicare.These two had me getting unnecessary info repeatedly.They told me numerous times my wheelchair was ordered .After months of being told my wheelchair was ordered and insisting that i call medicare for info that i had gotten numerous times from medicare. i was still trying to operate a broke wheelchair.All of this is documented by medicare.After realizing they were giving me the run around.I asked Charles,the owner, did he order my wheelchair and he said no.I then asked Charles IF he was going to order my wheelchair and he said NO.BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY read more

I just had a baby and just needed to buy an extra pair of compression socks for swelling in my legs. I just asked where I could find them and the sales woman started giving me hard time saying that I need all kinds of measurements before I could buy socks. I was wearing the exact socks I needed and they are a common sock used in hospitals and are labeled with the size, so I said I just needed the same sock I was wearing. She insisted it was far more complicated than that, so I left. I literally just bought 2 pairs of the exact sock on Amazon for $10. The sales woman was wearing a pair of scrubs, so I imagine she sees herself as a medical professional rather than a sales girl. Go to a different store or buy from Amazon before you go to this place. read more
