We were walking on Roosevelt Row and found this wine bar. I loved the ambiance and decor. Our server was great. We wanted to grab a drink only but the food menu looked good we decided to get an appetizer, both were good. We will definitely be back next time we're on Roosevelt Row.

I love the staff here! The owners Oly, Jesse, and Vito are awesome. And Jason, the bartender is super cool too. Great wine selection and the desserts are delish too. I had the olive oil cake paired with the orange wine. Sooo good. Very stylish wine bar. I love the chandeliers!

One of the many great offerings on Roosevelt Row. This place is a laid back wine bar, with an available side room for larger parties, standing and mingling. We held a mini bachelorette bash there in the side room. Flights and bottles were reasonably priced and the servers were great, attentive, informative. Bites were tasty, perfect for wine pairings, including bruschetta, charcuterie boards, hummus, dips, breads, etc. We had a wonderful time!! Street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood.

First time checking out this wine bar. Went here for a Single as a Pringle event The ambiance is super cute and I was so happy they had a sweet wine flight for people like me who prefer really sweet drinks. Service was great, you can order food and the place is a vibe. I may become a regular here lol

Very cutely decorated decently sized place has an outdoor area as well. My drink was really good and he really filled it to the top gave me my moneys worth as well as the spinach artichoke chip was probably the best I've had. It was so rich and creamy and the service is great everyone is super friendly, I've been wanting to check this place out forever finally got the chance you def should come and try this place out I'll def be coming back

I've been in here a couple of times and both times I've been really impressed with the service and how enthusiastic they are to help you find some good wine. I've done a couple of the flights and haven't had a glass of wine here yet that I disliked. I haven't tried too much of the food options but I did have the baked brie and loved it. It was great to snack on the bread and Brie in between sips of wine. This is a great addition to the Roosevelt Row area. I can't wait to bring dogs to the dog friendly patio and enjoy some wine in cooler temperatures.

We are huge fans of Turquoise Wine Bar and are obsessed with the new location on Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix. They have the best decor and their wines are amazing! I had a little birthday get together in their back room. It's the perfect set up and vibe for those types of get togethers. They also have a great wine club. Definitely check them out. The owners Oly and her husband are amazing!

Stumbled on this wine bar on accident and had to stop in! They happened to be having a wine and cheese pairing that was amazing! It's super cute inside and the service was great! Will be coming back the next time I'm in Phoenix!

So excited for a wine bar to be joining the Roosevelt Row lineup. The interior was nicely done with pretty chandeliers and pops of turquoise. Everybody who worked there was welcoming and excited to be there. I loved the different wine tasting options and their giant wall of wine. The champagne cupcake was light and fluffy with a sweet frosting. Great addition to the area.

I was super excited for this location to open because it's closer for us than the original location. We did make reservations ahead of time. The decor is so cute and a lil boujee boo boo (IYKYK). The layout is intimate without feeling cramped. A separate room is available for special events and incorporates the main room's decor. Carolina was our amazing wine goddess! She was so awesome!! Ok...on to the wine and tasty bites. I am very familiar with the food menu but the wine menu not so much. The option to sample a few wines before choosing was appreciated, especially given the extensive wine list. They have a Portuguese wine (Dao region) and I love Portugal and the blend that they had HIT... I did settle on the Sauvignon Blanc which also HIT and my friend settled on the Portuguese wine. For bites, we had the dill pickle dip (which is my favorite) and the fig and chevre flatbread with arugula on top. My friend ordered the meatballs and really liked them a lot. They really have some good bites and a couple heavier items if you're super hungry, but I like to mix it up and order diff bites to share and that works out very well. We also really like the location because it's hopping around there. The only challenge we had was parking, so keep that in mind. Will definitely be on repeat for myself and others I plan to invite to experience all that TWB has to offer.

Turquoise Wine Bar sets the bar pretty high when it comes to great spots to relax and enjoy quality wines in a friendly, welcoming environment. The new Roosevelt location more than lives up to that standard. We were fortunate enough to attend the soft opening for wine club members last evening and, while a bit farther from home for us than the Glendale location, it is MORE than worth the drive downtown for a visit. It will be become a regular destination for us. Right in the heart of Roosevelt Row amidst a great array of spaces and events, Turquoise has really hit a home run here. The space is beautiful, open and really nicely-decorated with plenty of comfortable seating, a great bar area and an amazing staff that's very friendly and happy to have you there. The wine selection is excellent, with many varietals and vineyards you won't find in the more generic locations around the valley. There's also a really nicely varied selection of things to nibble on as well. The Paninis are KILLER! I enjoyed a fantastic Turkey panini on grilled Focaccia that was really impressive. I used to work Downtown years ago when there was barely anything around if there wasn't a Suns game and they rolled up the sidewalks after 5 PM. It's come a long way since then and Turquoise Roosevelt is a fantastic addition to the continually-growing character of the Downtown area. Fantastic staff, great location and wine selection. Love it! Go check it out. Now....

This little Roosevelt Row spot has a beautiful interior. It's cozy and so tastefully decorated with two rooms to choose to dine/drink in. We had a couple items off the menu; salmon dip was delicious, but the presentation was lack luster with only 5 crackers for two people. A few cucumber slices and even less green/yellow pepper slices. This was not even presented on a couple of leaves of lettuce, but rather on a stark white plate; highlighting how little food we were served. We also had the Brie/fig jam. This was served with some nice crostini style bread, but was clearly a small Brie wheel covered in store bought (Safeway) fig jam and the microwaved. You may want to add some crushed nuts on there and bake it for a better presentation (like I do at home). Additionally, we sampled 4 different cocktails. All were delicious and ranged from $13-$16. I love craft cocktails and am willing to pay the going rate for them. The server shared that two of our cocktails are simply poured from a can over ice. Thanks. I'll pick these flavors up myself at TW&M. The service was exceptional and I'll go back to try the pizza as it smelled good. I'll not be ordering the canned cocktails next time, however.

If you're looking for a cute, vibey spot on Roosevelt Row, Turquoise Wine Bar is such a gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and just the right mix of chic and cozy--perfect for a girls' night, date night, or just unwinding with a glass of wine.

It's hard to put into words how great this place is. Have you ever been somewhere when everything…read morejust feels "right, balanced, happy"? That is Farish House. The cozy, intimate comfort of what used to be Coup des Tartes blended seamlessly with the deep, peaceful, gentle "love" you felt from House of Tricks into one calm, warm, easy spot. Farish House is a real, soul-warming experience across the board. The service, care, comfort, ambience, food, value and clear love they put into everything make Farish House our new favorite place. We walked through the front gate, up onto the front porch and inside where we took one of three small tables in the cozy front salon of this soul-warming 1899 French Bistro. *Food: we started with a bottle of Australian Cab. Shockingly good. And not crazy expensive, especially on Thursday when bottles are 30% off, it was an amazing deal. Turns out, the owner, Greg, was in the wine distribution business for several decades, curating wine programs for top Valley restaurants, so he really knows his stuff and their vast wine selection is amazing. We were offered a basket of truffle popcorn, mmm, salty, crunchy, and rich. We ordered the Chef's Selection Charcuterie and Warm Noble Baguette & Marinated Olives to get started. Both were beautifully curated, balanced, and incredibly high quality. The flavors and textures blended perfectly. with cheeses broken from large wheels, rather than cut and sliced, house-made pickled grapes, unique and unusual ingredients, smokey meats, compound butters, just awesome! We then moved into one of the cozy dining rooms and ordered the slow roasted Peposo Short Ribs and fingerling potatoes pan fried in duck fat served with Moroccan spiced aioli. Both were rich, warm and delicious. For dessert, and yes we thought we'd explode from all this food, we ordered a massive slice of bread pudding, some of the best I've ever had, rich, gooey and incredible. Along with that we ordered a beautiful Espresso Martini and an off-menu banana cream martini. Their drinks are not "poured" or mixed here, they're balanced and expertly crafted. This is French Bistro comfort food at its finest and it's unmistakeable. *Service: it just doesn't get better. Everyone working there is "family". And that's how they make you feel; like family, cared for, wanted, welcomed. Service isn't a choreographed masterpiece, no tuxedos, cloths draped over arms, napkins frantically re-folded when you step away, dishes served and cleared in unison. No, it's relaxed, warm, friendly, kind, like being at your grandmothers house and knowing you're surrounded by people who care. Met Greg and Katherine, the owners, and their daughter Alexandra and several other "family" members taking care of us. Their appreciation for your presence is unmistakable. *Ambience: it's just plain comfy, cozy, easy, relaxed, warm, deep, gentle, worn (in a good way), wise, and calm, that's the best I can describe it. Hard wood floors, cozy rooms, soft, warm lighting. It's a non-pretentious, French bistro that feels like the home of a favorite grandma or great aunt living in a warm family cottage in the outskirts of Paris. *Value: it's perfect. It's not ridiculously expensive like Kai, Brinkley's, Cafe Monarch, Christopher's, or French Laundry where you go, "okay, that was fun but we'll only do this very occasionally/rarely and it's probably worth it, but dang that was pricey!" No, Farish House is 100% value to experience, not cheap, but not overpriced, the balance is just right. It's a place you can go often, and we will. Yes, our meal with apps, drinks and dessert, some on happy hour and the Thursday wine special, was around $200. I'd happily say this experience was worth every penny. *Overall: I can't recommend Farish House highly enough. Parking is on the street or in a nearby lot, and that's a downtown thing. There's a small lot in back. The food, ambience, service, quality, and experience were stellar. I wish I could rate them 6 stars instead of just 5. I'll return often and highly recommend Farish House to everyone. I genuinely hope you enjoy as much as we did!

This last time we just got small bites to share and everything was delicious. We started with some really good. oysters. We had a reservation and were seated right away. I selected the main dining room when making our reservation, although they also have new upstairs seating, which you can choose when booking. They have outdoor seating on the porch, but it's too hot for us this time of year. Would love to come back and dine outside when the weather cools down. The main dining room is rustic chic with exposed brick and a really fun energy. There are mostly two-top tables with a few four-tops in the center, plus a small bar with about four seats. One of my favorite details was the vinyl record player, which almost acts as the centerpiece of the room. The hostess would switch out the records throughout the evening and place the current album on the windowsill, so you knew exactly what you were listening to. We really enjoyed the music selections! One thing to note is that the main dining room is loud. I'm not sure if it's the acoustics of the old house, but it took us a little while to get used to the noise. Once we settled in, it wasn't as noticeable, but it was definitely hard to ignore at first. If you're looking for a quieter, more intimate experience, I'd recommend reserving a table upstairs. The wine list is very small, which actually made choosing a bottle really easy. We went with a Sauvignon Blanc. I've been to French restaurants like Zinc where, because of the small two-top tables, they bring your wine in a standing bucket. Sottise does something different, they have a wall of shelves where they keep your bottle. It serves almost as another centerpiece in the room. Our server and hostess were both great about keeping our glasses filled, so we didn't miss having the bottle at the table. The menu is definitely a modern take on French cuisine, and everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the Escargot de Bourgogne, and I loved that they were served in shells rather than in a traditional escargot dish. They had just the right amount of garlic, butter and light herbs. Of course, we had to order the Fresh Country Loaf with butter so we could soak up all that delicious escargot sauce. So good! Next came the Pistou Pasta and the Le Grand Loup de Mer. The pistou sauce is made with basil, garlic and olive oil, but unlike pesto, it doesn't contain cheese or pine nuts. The flavor was incredibly fresh, and the color of the noodles from the sauce was so vibrant. But the Le Grand Loup de Mer was absolutely the star of the show! The presentation was beautiful, and the sea bass was cooked perfectly with wonderfully crisp skin. It came with a light white wine beurre blanc-style sauce, and the trout roe added the perfect amount of saltiness. Definitely get this dish! We loved it so much that we ordered a second country loaf just so we could have more bread for dipping into that incredible sauce. Instead of dessert, we finished with an espresso martini. It didn't come with any coffee beans on top, so I'm guessing they may use a Nespresso-style setup and don't have whole beans on hand. It was still really good and a nice way to end the evening. Our server was great and attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal and each other. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Sottise. Between the unique old-house setting, vinyl records, exposed brick, modern French food and service, it's a really memorable spot. I'd definitely come back, especially when the weather cools down so we can experience the porch or try the upstairs dining area for a quieter evening.
