My all time favorite breakfast place l love the ambience even some days are very crowded but the atmosphere is not in chaos. The staff are nice they serve best coffees with a lot of choices, they offer Perks, food is freshly prepared not greasy. Highly recommended

This place is amazing! Atmosphere is the most fancy I've seen for a diner! Food is great, everything is priced well, staff is friendly, food came out fast, everything was fresh, loads of parking

Cold brew with big coffee cube

Went to Turning Point for breakfast on a Sunday. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy at 10am and we were seated immediately. It's a fairly large casual restaurant, reminds me of a large eat-in kitchen at someone's home. I got the cold brew and my wife got a French press for coffee. Both were pretty good, i like the large serving sizes and the giant iced coffee cube that came with the cold brew. For my entree I got shakshuka and my wife got a breakfast platter with a belgian waffle. Shakshuka was decent, definitely have had better though. The breakfast platter was very average. We also got the cinnamon rolls with tableside frosting, which was basically just the waiter squirting a bottle of frosting on top of the cinnamon rolls lol Food was average, portions were good for the price, especially with the recent price hikes at local diners.

Lovely experience dinning in. Ordered Kale to the King and loved it. Very refreshing. Grabbed m two for one deal - cran/walnut sandwich, which was a little on the dry side sadly, and the Martha's Vineyard salad which was delicious! Staff was kind and helpful in navigating the menu. Really enjoyed the meal. Will be back again!

Breakfast Combo with Great Pumpkin pancakes

Always a great experience at Turning Point in Paramus. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. To drink, we had the Fallin for Chai and the French press coffee. Both were very good. I had the Cran Apple French Toast and my wife had the breakfast combo with Great Pumpkin pancakes. All of it was crazy delicious. We booked our table on the way, so we were seated immediately. The place has a chill atmosphere. Once again, they impressed us with everything.

Salted caramel mocha latte, and Jamaican French press coffee.

We tried a new restaurant this morning called Turning Point in Paramus, and although the menu looked good online, I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment we walked in, it completely exceeded our expectations. The space was nice, clean, cozy, and warm. We were immediately seated in a booth in the middle of the restaurant, and our server, Bobby, couldn't have been more friendly. He was a fantastic young man with great recommendations--especially the French press coffee. I had the Jamaican French press, which was absolutely delightful. My partner ordered a caramel salted mocha iced latte, and she said it was delicious. For breakfast, she had the Rising Shine with poached eggs, Belgian waffles, and potatoes de cooked to perfection. I ordered the breakfast skillet with potatoes, cheese, eggs over easy, bacon, and an English muffin. The food came out hot and delicious, and the cheese pull on the skillet was to die for. Overall, I give this place five stars--not just for the food, but for the ambiance and the warm attention Bobby gave us. Thank you! We will definitely be back again.

THE GOOD ---------------- + Solid brunch food. Not going to blow you away with any fab creations, but it hits the spot. ++++ Tropical Bliss Smoothie and Annie's Lemonade - Both were refreshing, a little bit more watered down than we would like, but still relatively refreshing. ++++ Grande Huevos Rancheros - Not amazing, but still good. Portion was right on with a mix of 3 eggs (over medium), potatoes, chipotle peppers, chorizo, black beans, onions, cheddar jack, salsa, slices of avocado and sour cream in a GIANT wheat tortilla. Everything was tasty. The avocado slices had some black spots on them though, which meant they were going bad. ++++ Shakshuka - Same as the Rancheros, not amazing, but still solid. Nice portion of food. The 3 poached eggs sat on top of a tomato sauce ... and, well, that was pretty much it. No potatoes or any other carbs inside. It was still tasty and, if you're looking for a healthier option, this would be one. ++++ Kids Volcano French Toast - There were 2-3 slices of French Toast topped with strawberries and whipped cream. The French Toast had a cinnamon flavor to them, which was rather pleasant. Definitely would be filling for a toddler. ++++ Kids Mac 'n Cheese with Potatoes - Mac 'n Cheese was tasty and the kids gobbled it up like it was the only Mac 'n Cheese left in the world, but could they have spared some more? The portion was very sad, to say the least. + Interior of the restaurant is large, with great spacing inside and lots of tables. + Pretty standard decor for a brunch restaurant - lots of natural light, contemporary design and, most importantly, clean inside. + They have a waitlist that you can join online on their website, but it was a relatively short wait (5 min) still on a winter Sunday at 11:45 AM. + Service was decent as the food came out very quick. + There is a private parking lot that is part of the Plaza 35 shopping area. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - As mentioned above, portion for the Kids Mac 'n Cheese could have been bigger. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = As mentioned above, food was solid, but nothing really stood out as spectacular. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = There were a steady stream of customers going in and out throughout our meal from 11:45 - 1 on an early Sunday afternoon, but no one had to wait long. = There is a longggggg bar/table in the middle of the front dining area by the entrance and it seems like a seating area for those who would rather not wait for a booth/table. Only downside is that you do have to sit near/across from strangers if you're not into that.

    - Big, open, and bright space with clean farmhouse vibes; multiple dining areas with roomy tables, booths, and communal counter seating - Very popular weekend brunch spot; already filling up when we arrived around noon on a Sunday - Easy to join the waitlist online (a must for busy days) - Nice touches while waiting: complimentary hot coffee and tea, plus free mini cups of Cheerios for kids; unfortunately, the coffee was very light and lacked bold flavor, so I passed on ordering more - Service was friendly and polite, though a bit more proactive attentiveness would have improved the experience - Food was fine but forgettable: Shakshuka (Winter Specials) had a tangy tomato sauce with some heat and not much depth, generous portion with three perfectly poached eggs, but no ciabatta as advertised--served with plain, untoasted sourdough instead; Grande Huevos Rancheros was served in a tortilla bowl that quickly turned soggy in the middle, flavors were decent, but the avocado was browning and unappetizing; Kid's Mac & Cheese with Potatoes came with a very small portion of pasta, though cooked well and was extra cheesy; Kid's Volcano French Toast with Strawberries was more generously portion, nicely cooked with a light cinnamon sweetness which helped since syrup never arrived; the blended drinks were heavy on ice and tasted watered down - Bottom line: comfortable, family-friendly space with good seating for groups, but manage expectations as the food doesn't quite live up to the hype

We were traveling from Nassau County, NY area to this specific location. It was truly a turning point in our breakfast decision because we also had lunch and it became a brunch before 11am lol omg the food was so scrumptious and fresh! Our server was Gracie, she was stellar with us the whole time. She really went above and beyond that we hand everything we needed during our brunch. Happy birthday to her as well! Definitely would recommend this restaurant for your breakfast and lunch , so good!

    Avocado Smash Benedict

Came for Brunch on Saturday morning at 10 am. Unfortunately, this place does not take reservations. The wait for regular table was around 30 min at that time. And with the little ones, we didn't want to wait. But there was no wait for the high tops! So we asked for booster seats and just sat at the high tops for breakfast. The place is like a super modern diner. It was nice that coffee was unlimited and you could also take to go too. I ordered the avocado smash Benedict and it was good. But I just thought the toast was really had to cut. Possibly stale? My baby had their waffles with fruit from their kids menu which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a taste of their pancakes and immediately wished I had ordered that instead. Will definitely be getting that next time!

We decided to try TPOP Saturday late lunch, around 1:30pm. Even at this odd time, they were somewhat full, we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. In the process we learned that the bar tables are available for anyone including kids. Next time we will just sit there to skip waiting, if seats are available. Since its a new restaurant, it has wonderful appearance. Everything looks new and clean. The menu has a variety of breakfast drinks and dishes. They have a nice kids menu as well. I started with the lemonberry blue drink. It was a good sweet citrusy drink. For entree I ordered the Nashville hot chicken benny with green salad. I liked the look of the dish. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Chicken was delicious too. But the waffles got soggy, I hoped it was little crunchy. The green was okay. Overall I felt the portion wasn't big enough. The service was good, we had a friendly server. I got $5 discount for signing up with their rewards program. Despite these minor setbacks, I think this a wonderful place to have brunch with family and friends.

(Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

I asked if I could do 2% milk with my latte at 8am with only 1 other table in the restaurant. Waitress told me it's whole or skim. I asked if she could mix them, half and half. She said it takes too long for the bartenders... I said "there's 2 people here, mind if you make an exception?" To which she followed up with "no, it's a rule." Okay fine... I'll settle for my $7 latte I guess. Following that, I ordered the mushroom thyme omelette, the second bite I took had a full on hard stick from the thyme I almost choked on (not chewy, hard - see pictures). I decided to let it slide, these things happen with fresh herbs. 2 more bites in, another massive stem stick jabbed me. If I had given my daughter either of those bites, it could have been scary. I sent it back. I love their coffee, and the shukshukka (botching the spelling). But for how much you pay, their service is inconsistent and these errors are painful (literally). I'll likely come back for the coffee and vibes but won't be bending over backwards to do brunch here.

We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.

The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling.
