This place was horrible. I went in with high hopes, but it was a huge letdown. I waited forever just for someone to help me, and then waited even longer for the bartender to come back with my drink. After sitting there for a while, it became pretty obvious why the service was so bad. Both bartenders were busy taking shots with customers instead of actually serving people. Keep in mind, this was around 5:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. I was only there for about 30 minutes, and between the two bartenders, I counted eight shots. I understand having fun and creating a good atmosphere, but when customers are sitting around waiting while the bartenders are taking shot after shot, there's a problem. The Australian bouncer is super cool, the other bouncer by the door however was eating and talking to himself. He made mean comments when I was entering, and didn't even check my ID on top of it all. As a woman, this bar doesn't feel very safe. Came in for drinks before dinner with another girl and we asked to close out after one drink - to which the bartender told us we couldn't close out if our tab was less than $15. She said we could add a shot to the order ($13 total) to bring it to the $15 required to close out. Then she said the cheapest shot was Casa Migos which she said was $15 a shot. We said we would pass & just dip out. If you're a middle aged man, this bar is a great place to be but if you are a woman probably just skip this one. This bar does not deserve a star- and the bar back "Guy" should be fired for discriminating against people....This bar discriminated against ME specifically and my friends. The bar back "guy" said my ID was fake and would not serve me...I'm 26 years old...and the reason he would not serve me is because his blonde girlfriend said to kick her out (me) (she was sitting at a table)...I've never been to this bar before but I would not go here if you think that you might be above average looking..."guy" the bar back should be fired...he took my ID and handed it to everyone on the patio...I feel absolutely humiliated. I have a government issued license and i told him that it was real...he told me that out of his experience that it wasn't and that I was a liar and that's when he handed my ID to another table to ask for their opinion...and they continuously handed it to people ... Do not go here if you are female because they only want their guests to be male and do not go here if you do not want to be humiliated...I was just trying to have a good night after a long week...but guy made it even worse. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years and have been trained to know the difference between a real and fake ID. The establishment does not welcome patrons who play pinball and do not drink alcohol. In other words, they will ask you to leave if you do not consume alcohol. I didn't even get a chance to see their food menu before I was told to leave. This is the first bar in 'The World' with pinball machines that tells its potential patrons to unkindly leave for not consuming alcohol. The whole thing is a bit odd and I don't recommend anyone visiting this bar solely on how they treat their patrons. Nice place to stop at. Plenty of seating. You can choose between a private table or the bar. The couple times I have been it was not crowded. I hate to be unfair, but I'm really not. I'm in my mid 20's and somewhat still new to the area. The owner/bartender is a female in her mid 30's. Completely rude and embarrassed me on Halloween. I lost a friend two years ago and this time brings up bad memories. I am a business owner myself and would never treat my Katerina the way this quote n quote "owner." When I asked why, I was not given an answer. Safe to say, they lost a customer for life and any body reading this, steer clear of this. What a horrible experience on Halloween.
