We also ordered their Caesar Salad which was good. I do remember this spot before it was Drifters and it was called Idle Hour which I loved so much. But I will say I am excited that a new pizza spot is now in its place. I think my next time that I try this will be physically at the restaurant. My only concern is that it is very loud. I have been to several other Tavern in the Square and I am happy that they finally came to Braintree. With great big TVs, excellent food and wonderful service, I believe Tavern in the Square will thrive here. We stopped in here for a quick lunch and had great service. My DCs were running late, so I gave our waiter a head's up. He never made me feel bad for taking up the space. And it helped that there was never a queue waiting to be seated that Sunday night. We each ordered our own meal while sharing bites. While there are a few entrees at Cloud Asian Fusion that include both protein and vegetable, such as the Braised White Fish $22 (assorted mushrooms, fried tofu) one DC ordered, mine (Siam Crab Curry $22 - lump crab, spicy red curry, basil, bean sprouts, Thai Chili, thin rice noodles) and my other DC's (Mapo Katsu $16 (chicken katsu, mapo sauce, short grain white rice, furikake) came without (I don't count the small stash of raw bean sprouts on my plate), so I added the blistered green beans $16. I first tried it at the Phantom Gourmet Food festival, and it was delicious! Having it fresh at the restaurant was just as good. It's actually not super cheesy (no cheese pull) and it's drizzled with bbq and ranch sauce on top. The pork was extremely tender and I loved the crispy onion strings that came on top. Also tried their gnocchi bolognese and 110 spinach dip. The gnocchi bolognese was really tasty, perfectly cooked. The 110 spinach dip wasn't bad either, but it did feel a little one noted. I do think it's a great app though! Service wasn't bad, but it was really busy in there. Our server probably only checked on us a few times throughout our meal (which is fine, I'm not a high maintenance customer lol). Have to give a shoutout to the GM though because our server accidentally double charged us (for items we didn't order) and I didn't realize until I got home. The GM (Rich I believe) was able to fix it over the phone which was awesome.
