Dinner. Chicken and vegetarian options

This is a really good Indian restaurant. The food was great. That service was excellent. The prices were good. Plenty of parking. If we ask for spicy it was spicy. And the the staff answered our questions and even made a dish that wasn't on the menu. I would really recommend this restaurant and we'll definitely go back. Free papad as well. It was great.

So glad that Sher Punjab reopened in North Quincy!! We have missed all their delicious dishes from the mustard lamb chops to the Dahl ! We especially love the buffet on weekends and he made it work in this smaller restaurant restaurant, the owners go out of their way to make sure you have an extra extraordinary experience and delicious food!

Food: the taste of the food is genuinely phenomenal. 1.) The goat curry was fresh, and I typically have an issue with the Gameyness of goat but they did a great job at removing it and that typically goes hand in hand with how fresh it is. 2.) The Chicken Tikka Masala, also delicious and youre able to taste the subtle tomato undertones well. Its typically a pretty rich curry but they have a great balance here with the tartness from the tomatoes 3.) Paneer Kadhai, first time trying it and there will definitely be a second and beyond! First time having a cheese curry and my oh my was it delicious. Its a slightly sweet curry, and balances well with its savory side. 4.) Dal Makhai, first time trying this lentil curry and it was a great curry to balance out the other rich curries we've had. Definitely tasted healthy and light, and will be for sure mixing that in to our curry spread in the future! 5.) Gobi Curry! Unlike the other curries we are used to, this cauliflower curry had a different blend of spices that was tasty in its own right! And then of course the Naan! This has hands down one of the tastier garlic Naan's I've ever had. Its fluffy on the inside and crispy on the out. Ripping into it and seeing how fluffy it was was a great experience. And who can forget the Mango Lassi. Can never go wrong with this delicious and decadent yogurt drink. Service: the service is absolutely phenomenal. The staff were always tentative and even talked to us enthusiastically about all of our questions and even threw in a Mango lassi freebie! Atmosphere: the inside of the restaurant is really quaint and modern! A tad small but its perfect for smaller parties! Price Quantity/Quality: We had the Lunch buffet for 17.95$ with free choice of garlic or regular Naan bread basket. And all the curries we've had came with the buffet. Genuinely great price to quality/quantity ratio!

I came here for dinner over the weekend with some friends after missing Indian food for a veeerrryyyy long time. It was not super crowded at the time we were there so we were seated right away which was nice. It took us some time to decide what we wanted and ended up splitting multiple different dishes. We were feeling adventurous and asked for all our food's spice level to be the most spicy. The samosa chaat was more watery than I have had at other Indian restaurants but was overall okay. It was a lot spicier than we anticipated so we asked for the other dishes to be adjusted to medium spice. The baingan bharta and garlic naan were really good. The naan was very flaky versus doughy too. The chicken biryani was also okay and was more of a vegetable pulao with chicken rather than a proper biryani. All things considered, this absolutely satisfied my craving for Indian food!

Sher-A-Punjab is my new favorite Indian restaurant in Quincy !! They're Naan is HUGE and full of flavor! Their garlic chicken and Butter Chicken are my favorite! I love how you can choose the spice level and it truly matches! I can't wait to try their buffet soon !

Ordered takeout and the online ordering service was nice as it gave updates on the status of the meal. The portion sizes for lunch meals were good. The butter chicken was by far my favorite as it was flavorful and had a decent amount of chicken. The shrimp briyani in basmati rice with veggie was also flavorful. The garlic and chicken Naan bread wasn't the best as it was a little thin and dry and I've had others that were better.

Apparently prices have changed.but not online nor can they share a printed copy of the menu with new prices. So you pay more@pickup!

Actually, besides veggies, you can also get meat balls and small sausages, as well as stuff like Inoki mushrooms, "cloud ear" fungus, etc. The selection is pretty big, Then there is a sauce bar where you make your own hotpot dipping sauce. From the menu, you can order all the meats you want. They pretty much have all the items you would expect from a Chinese hotpot restaurant in the Boston or Quincy area. The meats you order come fast, and you can cook them up in your personal sized hotpot. Between the quick service for the meats and your own ability to refill with any veggies you want, you are almost always eating, and you spend almost no time waiting,. All veggies and meats were well presented, fresh, and tasty. Of interest, this restaurant uses robot waiters to help the human ones. So while you are waiting for the meats you ordered, you will often find a robot cart silently rolling up to your table. As soon as this happens, a waitress will quickly appear next to the robot and hand-carry all your plates of meats from the cart to your table.. This is super useful because sometimes the robot cart will be carrying 15-20 dishes, far more than a single waiter or waitress can carry. So this isn't just a gimmick, but a useful tool that speeds up service. I've gone to Hotpot One a total of 3 times, and my dining experience has been consistent and good. I would consider it one of the better places in the Quincy area to have a nice AYCE hotpot dinner,.

While food quality on its own is 'meh,' I can confidently say you get more than you pay for! When it comes to food quality, this is mediocre. The General Tso's chicken was great, though that is to be expected with an item heavy on salt, sugar, and fat; almost everything else is instantly forgettable. The sushi, for example, was on the low-tier of supermarket. At the same time, I do want to call out that there was nothing I tried so awful I spat it out. However, in a high volume, ultra-low cost spot, all non-catastrophic quality issues are immediately forgivable. Now, while Flaming Grill doesn't have everything under the sun, the variety is excellent! There are Asian, American, and Japanese dishes, as well as a salad and dessert bar, plus hibachi. While you will not find any oysters on the half-shell, I can confidently say there is something for everyone. Even with my voracious appetite and taking a small amount of what looked interesting to me, I was unable to try everything. When it comes to the service, considering the buffet nature, it was just fine. I absolutely want to award some credit as it was attentive enough that when I moved on to dessert, they knew to bring the check. As for outside my table, food items were kept refilled, as I saw nothing nearly empty. Everything was also kept clean, and no cleanliness issues were noticed. Final verdict: Unfortunately, my taste run a little more fancy than Flaming Grill & Buffet, but that is not an issue with the eatery, but a fact of my becoming bougie? I think? From the outside, the restaurant looks plain and unassuming, but once inside, it's modern, comfortable, and inviting. We had made reservations, but when we arrived, the place wasn't too crowded. The staff greeted us warmly and explained that we could either do the full rodizio or choose specific meats and pay by the pound. Naturally, we went for the full rodizio experience. The salad bar was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other Brazilian steakhouses that focus mainly on cold cuts, cheeses, and salads, Spettus had a smaller selection of cold items but an impressive variety of hot dishes such as pastas, meatballs, rice, and chicken parm. Everything was flavorful and fresh, and honestly, I could've been perfectly happy just eating from the salad bar alone. We also noticed that a good number of customers were doing takeout, which might explain the larger selection of hot foods. Then came the main event, the meats. Since it was a slower evening and we were the only table doing the full rodizio, we basically had personalized service. The gentleman serving the meats was friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in what he was serving. He offered great recommendations, took our requests, and playfully encouraged us to take "just one more slice" each time he came around. Every cut we tried was excellent, but the garlic steak really stood out for its flavor. The sausage was fantastic, and the absolute stars of the night were the picanha and the grilled pineapple. I could eat those two forever and be completely content. Overall, Spettus Steak House delivered a top-notch experience that easily rivals some of the larger chain Brazilian steakhouses. If I find myself back in the Boston area, I'll definitely be returning.

Then Covid came, and this restaurant rebranded itself as an a-la-cart Korean BBQ and sushi restaurant. I tried it once after the rebranding. It was relatively expensive, and neither the hotpot nor the sushi stood out. With food that was middling at best and a higher than average price, I didn't feel it was worth returning to. So I haven't visited this place since 2022. Fast forward to last night, my family stayed up to watch football, and we got hungry and wanted to buy some takeout. Many places that we were interested in were closed by 10 PM, and Royal Hotpot was still open. So we bought several items from them for takeout. We live 20 minutes away and did our own pickup. When we got home with the food, we found the following: I had a beef Bibimbop. 20 minutes after pickup from the restaurant, it was already cold. Not ice cold, but room temperature at best. There was no sauce. You eat a Bibimbop by first pouring in the special Bibimbop sauce and getting its taste onto everything. But, as I said, no sauce. The Bibimbop itself? A relatively small bowl that had plenty of rice, a boatload of seaweed that smelled fishy, and not much beef even when I stirred the food around to find what beef I could. There was not much. So, I put a spoonful of rice into my mouth. All I could taste was the fishiness of the seaweed,. There was no beef taste or any other taste that I could discern. So for almost $30 bucks I got a dry bowl if rice and mostly seaweed that was devoid of any taste you could enjoy. It was basically dry seaweed rice, with very little meat, and no sauce. I have eaten Korean food in general and Bibimbop in particular from maybe 20 restaurants in the Greater Boston area. I would rate this one the worst, by a significant margin, that I have ever had. I ended up putting the entire bowl, after two bites, into the fridge. Why didn't I throw it away? I feed stray cats behind my house, and this will go to the cats tonight. The two mouthfuls that I tried to eat? I spit those out into the garbage because it tasted so vile in my mouth. As for the other order, it was mostly sushi. My family member who absolutely LOVES sushi of any kind did eat his order, but he muttered that it was definitely subpar. So there you have it. If you ever have a yen for Korean or Japanese cuisine and you don't find many places open, don't come to this place. Eat some canned food from home, or make some instant noodles. This place, for me, was an awful choice. After putting Royal Hotpot's food away, I made an instant noodle to fill my hunger. that instant noodle was 5 times better than my expensive takeout. Note: I only give 1 star reviews for food that is literally spoiled, or when restaurant staff give egregiously awful service, 2 stars is the rating I generally give for really bad, unenjoyable food.

VEGGIE PLATTER The veggie platter came packed with fresh ingredients like lettuce, lotus root, mushrooms, and squash. All the vegetables were crisp and high quality. MEAT ASSORTMENT We ordered wagyu and several cuts of beef, all sliced beautifully and extremely fresh. Everything cooked quickly and soaked up the broth in the best way.
