Very happy with my nails!…read more Kim at Lovely Nails was able to repair and clean up my nails. My hands now look years younger! As an engineer I work with my hands. I tend to break my nails or get cracks. Naturally I pick at the breaks causing my nails to look awful. Kim cleaned up my nails, added a little length back, then coated them with a thin layer of acrylic. To finish them a natural colored layer of gloss was added. My nails now look clean and presentable!

Had a really great visit here. I think that this place has two Yelp pages, because I've been to it…read moremultiple times and it shows a different name. I digress. Today I got to sit with Lisa and she gave me a really great pedicure. I got the number three option which is the slight upgrade, and I was surprised and amazed when she pulled a timer out for the 10 minute massage. Actually totally made the whole experience, because nothing is more annoying than paying top dollar for a pedicure and not getting the full massage! She took time to match the color that I wanted because it was glitter, so she had to do a base underneath it so that you could see it. My only grip is the heel scrub, it is never enough. And I literally have cracked heels after I leave, which I think should be taken care of during the visit. I've asked for extra time and I'm willing to pay for, but it never happens. Really great job.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. This place has unlicensed nail techs working for them…read more ILLEGAL. They ruined my natural nails. The whole service start to finish were red flags. The manager, Lynn, is dismissive, interruptive, and rude. I called ahead and asked if they had time for a walk in. Answer was immediately yes. I got there, walked inside, and was asked to wait 10 minutes. I did call ahead for this reason as I didn't have a lot of time.. fine, I waited. They asked me what I had on my nails and I said regular gel polish. They started using the e-file on me and when I asked if it was a sanding band on it (because that's ALL you can use on natural nails), they smiled and didn't say anything. I repeated myself, again, smiled, made a sound (??), and continued. I said hello?? And pulled my hand back. They called out to another person (salon manager) who came over and I asked them "is that a carbide bit they're using on my natural nails or is that a sanding bit?" They spoke in their language for a sec and then she sat down and told me she'd be continuing the service. Red flag. I asked, "do you normally let your technicians practice unsafe nail services?" She continued to dismiss me by patting my hand and telling me she just wants a "quiet, happy service today". WHAT THE FUCK. I'm sure you could see the steam coming out of my ears. Excuse me? I then requested to see the first nail techs license, because when I looked for it, it's not displayed. It is required to be displayed at the very desk you're working at in a salon. So of course, she says she "sent the person out to go get it from their car". I said "car??? Why is it not in here being displayed?" She dismisses me, again. About 10 minutes went by and I requested again, "I'd like to see that persons license before I leave here as they worked on and destroyed my natural nail bed on my right hand". She said (I audibly laughed at this one) "I think they left to go but lotto tickets. Yeah, they play the lottery." So you're telling me that your nail technician fled the building because they provided an illegal service, ruined my nails, and is getting caught red-handed. Got it. She then had the audacity to ask me "how long have you been doing nails?" I said excuse me? She said because she's been doing nails for 20 years and she has more knowledge than me. Any person with a brain and google can confirm in 5 seconds that she was blatantly lying to me. I clearly have more knowledge than her if she's trying to tell me that a CARBIDE BIT is ok to use on natural nails. HELLLLLL NOOOOO!!!!!! I told her, "so this service is free right because you provided me with an illegal service?" She responded yes she's taking care of it. I washed my hands and got the f out of there. DO NOT GO HERE. Reporting her, her salon, and her unlicensed nail techs to the cosmetology board IMMEDIATELY.
