I get gel Manis and my mom gets the dipping powder, and both last us about 3+ weeks. They take their time, I don't feel like they are rushing even when they are busy. I have never in my whole 26 years of getting my nails done ( and I have been to many since I was 10 years old) have had such an amazing and particular nail technician! MICHEAL IS FANTASTIC!!! He actually gets all the edges so no cracks or breakage happens!!!! I will say that he is heavy handed so if you have sensitive nails like me just let him know or suffer through the pain... because the results are worth it!!! There's a new ownership. Came in today to get my nails done chrome. I wanted acrylic nails but honestly my nails are usually long. I should have just got gel but didn't. So if you have long nails ladies I recommend getting gel it saves you a lot of time & money. She did my nails really good. Always asked if I liked them. It did take about 2 hrs. I forgot how long it takes for acrylic nails. Gel is more quick like 30mins to an hour. I loved my nails how they came out! It was just me in the salon & the technician after about 30 mins or so more people came in but there was only one person and she called her other technician and she came back. They are gonna have more technicians in the next week or so. They also have a Groupon which I didn't know about. Also they give you a stamp card when you spend more then $25. read more

A small but clean and cute nail salon. Staff are very friendly, especially Vickie. I paid $35 for my set of acrylics with gel, and they are strong but not too thick. It seems like they get good business as well, since I saw many people coming in and out for manicures and pedicures. They also do waxing, which is good to know since I try to get my brows done regularly. Overall, it was a great experience and next time I'll probably try their dip nails! read more

I'm new to the area and needed a mani-pedi for an upcoming wedding/vacation. After seeing some good reviews and calling them, I learned about the gel manicure and spa pedi offer, which is a good deal compared to other local salons. I was greeted and in a pedicure chair right away. They had tons of polish to pick from for both gel and regular. The pedicure I had was their base level one and omg..maybe the best pedicure I have had in a very long time. She spent a lot of time and was very meticulous. The hot stones were so nice! The other lady did my gel manicure right at the pedicure chair. I didn't mind this bc it saved me a lot of time on a busy day. I wish the manicure had more of a hand massage included but oh well. At the end they gave me a cute pedicure kit to use at home which I thought was really sweet. My nails still look amazing a week later. This is definitely my new go to spot! read more

After waiting over 20 minutes I get up to leave and they try to tell me to sit down and wait "a few more minutes". Short review: if you like having eyes don't get your lashes done here. Long review: I had decided I wasn't going to write this review because Thao is very friendly, until yesterday when I got my lashes done by a TRUE professional and I now realize friendliness shouldn't over power the fair warning I'm about to give: A friend of mine always has stunning lashes, I asked her where she went and she told me it was Tulip. I called, made my appointment and when the time came I showed. I show up on time for the scheduled appointment and STILL sat waiting for 20 minutes. Finally Thao gets to me and seats me in the lash room. I had told her it was my very first time getting lashes and I knew nothing about them, she did NOT proceed to inform me about the service or what to expect, she did not have me sign any paperwork, she did not explain after care. She just laid me down and slapped on the thickest longest lashes she had. The process was extremely uncomfortable, lots of burning, itching, stinging, watering eyes, the whole nine. My left eye in particular was hurting a bit more, but since this was my first time I had no idea this wasn't normal, I even mentioned the burning and all she did was wipe the tears. After all was said and done, the lashes were very uncomfortable to wear, simply opening my eyes was unpleasant. These lashes were far too thick and congested, I looked....kind of stupid in normal life with no makeup on. I woke up the next day and my left eye looks like the photo shown, and it was burning incredibly bad. Even my own tears were making it burn. I went to the eye doctor ($90) and was informed that Thao had erupted capillaries in my eye and scratched the surface open. (How'd ya do it, girl? Even my new tech can't understand a f**k up that colossal) I go back to Tulip the next day to get a refund, the lashes cost me $90, but so did the eye exam that I needed after my run in at Tulip. Thao refused my refund over and over and over again until she finally agreed to return half of my payment as well as having me sign a random, barley written "contract" that said I wouldn't take this case any further. Yesterday I went to a real esthetician for my lashes and she informed me that true eye lash extensions are to be done by trained esthetician's, and often times the people in the back of the nails shops are unlicensed in this particular service but provide "lash enhancement" anyways. I believe that was the case here. read more

Went in a week ago to do SNS dipped nails and the service was quick and great. The nail technician met all my needs from my shape to my color choices. After a couple of days the top coat of my SNS set did become to chip off so I revisited the salon and Vickie did redo my top coat but again after a couple days it began to chip. The owner reached out to me and I went back into the salon and they redid my SNS set with a new color free of charge and they truly listened to how upset I was and confused why the product wasn't working. Thought I would give this nail salon a try, as it is closer to where I live and all the five star reviews. I was rather disappointed. The staff is friendly enough, but all I got was an SNS manicure and it took almost 2 hours. Can't imagine how long if I had done a pedicure too. The manicure was mediocre, I've had worse, but I've had a lot better too. The salon was uncomfortably warm. One thing I didn't care for was getting moved around the salon. I was placed at one station to have my old SNS removed and then to another for the rest of the manicure which was okay. But right after the tech put cuticle oil on my nails and I went to wash them, I turned around and they had already moved my stuff to another station and had another lady sit down. There was plenty of other open stations, so I felt this was rather rude. It was worth a shot but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I reviewed when I first went to this location, and decided to update. I won't be going back. It is not staffed appropriately. I have been in there 4x in the last 3 months, I keep telling myself that I need to give it a 2nd, and well a 3rd and then a 4th chance. Every single time, I am in there for 2+ hours for a simple mani/pedi. New customers are welcomed in, while the old ones are stuck neglected waiting for services. Or half of your nails are done, your asked to wait, so they can go and help another customer. So I won't be returning and I wish the owner luck in her future, such a kind lady. read more

I've been here three times now and the first two times I got an SNS manicure were great. My nails were perfect. I couldn't have been happier. Well I guess it depends on the nail tech. The third time I came in earlier than usual after two weeks for a broken nail and decided to do a full SNS manicure. The nail tech was very friendly. But I got two cuts from the manicure, one was actually bleeding. Prior to leaving, I noticed two small black hairs in my very light colored nails. I mentioned it and he offered to redo the nails, but said he would have to start all over. I declined. He apologized multiple times and was very friendly but paying full price for nails with noticeable black hairs and cut fingers isn't good service. Not to mention I have nail glue all around my nail beds. Not sure why... since it's SNS. I'll be finding a new nail salon unfortunately. read more
