He's nice and offered us gift receipts and such knowing that its going to be a gift. Then you have this female staff with short grey hair just cut our box open without evening asking us if its' okay to do so. She just said excuse me like we are all in her way and cut open our box because she wants to show another customer the luggage tag. I found that to be extremely rude and unnecessary. The fact that she didn't even say hi to us or proceed to ask if it's okay for her to open up our box or the fact to even touch it. We then asked our sale associate to swap the box for us because we don't want to gift someone an opened box. He's understanding and proceeded to swap us for a new one. Then I heard the female staff I guess asked the guy what happened, not sure what they chatted about. I found it inappropriate and unprofessional to just opened up someone's stuff without evening asking. She didn't even apologize afterwards or say anything to us. This is very poor customer service, We didn't drive all the way to the store to receive such poor customer service. I do not appreciate how she treated us or customers in general. That's uncalled for, perhaps they need better training for proper customer service. If I would've known the store to have such poor service, we would've just purchase it online. Will not return to the store again, and wouldn't recommend it to another to visit this specific location.

The prices are not low but if you find the right bag with good quality stitching and features then coming to the outlet will be nice as you might get a good deal. The staff were diverse ethnically and very friendly and not pushy at all which we appreciated very much. They were knowledgeable and honest which was another great point. And I love this outlet mall because there's so many stores and fun food to eat that you'll enjoy the place outside of going Tumi. I got the Saddler briefcase and it's leather and really professional looking. The interior is detailed and nice and navy blue and lots of little pockets and it has padding for your laptop. And the cutest thing about it is that the zipper attachments are magnetized to the side of the bag so it doesn't make noise when you walk around.. little things mean a lot.

She purchased one at the Nordstrom Rack on the first floor of the Fashion Outlets, but when we went downstairs and saw the Samsonite we took a spin and she decided to pick one there and return the other. As soon as we stepped in one of the employees greeted us and invited us to look around and offered help if necessary. When looking at a particular piece of luggage, he came over to offer help and talk about the various features, and pulled it down so my sister could take a closer look. They had a good price for it, so that's the one that she chose. They're Samsonite, so of course they had other pieces of nice luggage and I didn't realize that luggage now comes with built-in TSA-approved locks and that's pretty cool.

My friends laughing at me all the way. When I went to the store that I purchased the bag from (and it wasn't cheap) I was told I have to pay for shipping it to the service center for repair-- even though the tag on the bag claims an impressive warranty. When I spoke to the manager on the phone he threatened me with the words," either pay $20 to have it shipped to repair or get kicked out with your bag". After that he hung up and then called back to threaten me like he was going to arrest me using a very young security guard--don't go here! I never got a name from the attendant because they hide any information about their staff when people are upset. This is a far cry from those old commercials with the gorilla bouncing the bag around to prove how sturdy it is. Awful service, rude, and a demeaning manager. Nothing was offered me other than to pay for shipping. It was never made clear during the purchase that if something breaks--I pay the shipping. Disgusting! I thought I was making a moderate quality investment-- never will I buy Samsonite again, nor enter that establishment! Buy from Amazon, at least they allow you to return defective products!

I use them everytime I travel and they perform well. I love the lasting quality of their bags, cute Kipling accessory key chains, easy to clean materials, and durable zippers. Stay with me on this review, it may seem like I'm getting off track, but there is a method to my madness! I am in the service industry, the hotel business in particular. I live, breathe and practice in a customer service environment where (fairly or not,) perfect service is expected in a 3, 4 or 5 star property. The expectation of people that spend less than $100 in a 3 star property is somewhat similar to a 5 star property guest spending $800, namely they want to feel like PEOPLE CARE. More so as the $$$ and STARS go up. When going thru training with Ritz Carlton Hotels were taught to anticipate our guest's needs and WOW our guests. McKlein has WOWED me several times. I rolled my Gold Coast briefcase thru graduate school in the rainy San Francisco Bay Area and on sales trips now for 8 years. When I banged up the briefcase and needed parts that broke under my ridiculous traveling abuse, they sent me the parts to fix for just the cost of postage. Finally after 8 years a bolt came out of the handle of my older model Gold Coast briefcase. I ordered a bolt to repair and expected a bolt. Apparently the part was no longer available. When big box came, I was suspicious they might want me to send the briefcase back to the manufacturer for repair? IN THE BIG BOX WAS A NEW BREIFCASE!
