They had some cute children's bunting as we get closer to the winter months. They were having an "indoor sidewalk sale", with some of their items being up to 75% off--this included clothes, toys, books, and other items and knickknacks. They had some books and stuffed animals that complement the books, like the Little Blue Truck and Corduroy. I bought a cute little dress for the holidays for my daughter, as well as a lovely sweater for the upcoming season. Their children's stuff isn't cheap, but it's not unreasonable for an independent children's store. I was really thankful that I found a place that sells clothing for children--in this case, holiday wear in particular--that is machine washable, because oftentimes children's clothing is marked as dry clean only (whyyyy). There is street parking in this area which can be limited, but I think there's also a Metra stop half a block away from the store.

(And I was being VERY reasonable, giving them 2+ weeks between phone calls, being extremely patient and polite, etc.) Every time I spoke with the owner, she said she had just gotten back from vacation, so be happy knowing that you're financing her long vacations shopping here. At NO point, did either the store owner or worker ever use the terms "thank you" or "sorry". The owner actually said to me, "I want to figure this out so I can just be done." They made it seem like it was my fault that this happened and it took almost 2 months to resolve. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. (Although the rich, white women who shop there may have a different experience -- see the groupon reviews for more discrimination.) The stuff the sell is nice, but overpriced. The clothes only go up to 12months and everything you buy from there smells like the overpriced donuts they sell next door. Go elsewhere where people are kind and appreciate your business.

More affordable than Saks Stiff Avenue & Needless-Markups, pricier than heretic Macy's or Kohl's. Since I haven't stepped foot in Oak Brook's Nordstrom in decades, perhaps equivalent? Salespeople are more friendly and helpful than pushy or judgmental. In February, was delighted to find a good selection of lingerie for a bridal shower trousseau--unsure if that depth is kept year-round or strictly due to Valentines. As far as the unkind review regarding the assortment: being well dressed will never go out of fashion; however, if you are looking for something trendy, you may have to shop elsewhere. Adeiu.

I left a jacket there as I was trying on some clothes. The staff was incredibly great about getting it back to me. They texted right away but I had already left the area. They then sent it very quickly through the mail. Beautifully packaged like it was an item I had purchased. I sent money to cover the delivery but they insisted I didn't need to. Their jewelry is one-of-a-kind in a contemporary/classic way. The staff is extremely pleasant, and the merchandise is delightful. I'm particularly fond of the earrings on display here. The clothes on display are quite appealing too. I went to Enzee last week because I had a wardrobe emergency. Thankfully, they had exactly what I needed, as well as a plethora of other fantastic items! Over the last few years, I've acquired my favorite pair of chandelier earrings, as well as a slew of other trendy earrings and some cute clothing. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely return here again and again. Also, if you're looking to mix up your wardrobe and buy gifts for someone, I will highly recommend this location!
