Today, my friend and I had to visit our favorite Tumi Store here in Schaumburg. We saw our girl,…read morethe sensational, very engaging and charismatic Karrell. We caught up and browsed a bit. Precious Karrell was very informative and helpful. We discussed the current sales. I was thoroughly pleased with the packing backpack. Had I not overspent my budget on this trip, I would have purchased and shipped it back to California. My friend purchased something he needed, the leather compact sling. We donated $25.00 for the Saint Jude's Research Hospital Rehab Ball. The very statuesque Dalal also gave us superior service. Our visit to the Tumi Store could not have been any better. Those smiles on our faces are authentic. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And that last person asking you twice if you are looking for something (within 5 seconds of when she last asked you)? Do you enjoy when your responses are ignored? Then look no further. They do all of the above at this Tumi location. I own a few Tumi products. I've been to other Tumi stores and my favorite so far is the one in Old Orchard. They are very pleasant there and we have casual conversations sometimes. However this location in Woodfield Mall is terrible. I walk in and the first sales person greets me as they normally would. They ask how I'm doing and if I'm looking for anything in particular. I answer that I'm well, smile politely, and say "I'm just looking." Ok fine. This is all normal so far. Those key words are apparently insufficient. Because two steps later, another person comes by and asks me the same thing. I smile again and said "I'm just looking." Now I take one more step, and this sales lady (the third person) asks me if I'm looking for anything. As if she didn't hear the first two people ask me and didn't hear my response. Now I'm starting to get significantly peeved. I've not taken more than five steps in the store (so within a few feet) and yet I'm being hounded and badgered. It is a very unwelcome location. And about 5 seconds later, she asks me again as if I'm going to magically change my answer by the fourth or fifth time someone asks me what I'm looking for. This lady is probably five feet something, dark black hair, older. Thanks for making it known that I will not be shopping here. It's like I stepped into a car dealership and had to deal with skeezy, greasy, used car salesmen. You know the type. Is their income based on commission? Because that's what it feels like. It is a prime way to lose business. Just let me shop in peace. 0/10 if I could put a 0. Would not shop here at all.
