Service was extremely slow! Avoid the Chicken Scallopini. Chicken was nuked! Hard, tough. Free bread biscuits were nuked many times. Never again! read more

Pretty fast service and kind staff! Great bartender! He knew his drinks and had lots of knowledge. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting! Family-friendly is also good to have a meet-up with friends. My only criticism is the food was good, yes but it seems a bit bland or lacking flavor in regards to the chicken specifically. I have been a few times as well to have a few items. I like the drinks the most. read more

We tried Tula's for the first time tonight and the food was very mediocre. Our charcuterie board had only a few small slices of one kind of cheese (there were not multiple cheeses) and it also did not come with pickles or olives as advertised. It was definitely not worth the price. Grilled cheese was very oily and mediocre, and the pasta we ordered was very dry and the noodles flavorless. The chicken on the pasta was fried like very dry chicken tenders. Dions is much better. I understand they just recently opened and hope things will get better in the future. Service was good and so was the drink I ordered. read more

Tula's Kitchen - Grilled cheese, green Chile stew, and chicken scallopini - New American Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Stunning build out, beautiful light...I was SO disappointed to find that the food was nothing special. $9.50 for a basic grilled cheese sandwich that they named, 'crafted' on their menu. (Rolling eyes at that one.) If you want to have bacon and green chile, add another $2.00 to an already small sandwich. I also had the tomato bisque. Tasty, but a small bowl for $4.50. The croutons were immediately soggy. The house made pickles were excellent. The wait staff were very accommodating and some of the best I've ever been served by. I will try it again, but probably not a salad for $13.50. read more

First of all, the place looks great. Great atmosphere. My family and I found a corner booth. Waitstaff was polite but seemed a little inexperienced. Ordering was weird. Didn't understand the whole point of ordering upon walk-in. Seemed like it took a while for us to get our food too. Food was mediocre. Had the crispy chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese, and broccolini. Did not taste home made. Also, tots are not exactly a delicacy. Seemed like a strange choice for a side. Keep in mind, the place is new and may be working out some kinks. Might be willing to give it another try in the future. read more

Nice place, food is good and service is friendly. Stuffed fried green chiles were excellent!

Food and service always excellent. It has become our new place to eat out with the family.

I had lunch here for the first time. The food was fabulous. The hibiscus ice tea was amazing. I had salmon with pasta. I would definitely eat here again! I couldn't say enough about the amazing service. read more

Good comfort food spot, can get crowded, the chicken sandwich is LARGE but I would order it again, not a fan of the sauce they put on the Tater Tots but lesson learned, Service was really good, and it's a loud restaurant but worth your time. THE CHEDDAR BISCUITS THEY SERVE TO YOUR TABLE ARE THE BOMB! read more

Service was great but the food was unimpressive. I would not go back. I will stick with Dions...

Never got to try the food. We showed up early 4:00 it was very slow there very little business. The gentleman who seated us was very nice and personable but we got looked at by three different wait staff who just looked at us and walked away. Nobody asked us if you wanted a drink nobody even acknowledged us except for that young man and the cashier is saying goodbye as we left. Pity really, I wanted a Reuben. Then we got to reading the employee reviews, really entertaining! Hey owners, you got it serious staff problem there! If I were you I'd be reading the reviews and see what you can do to improve this relationship because if your stuff hate each other you' be got serious problems! We're going to wait a month and try again! read more

Let's talk portion sizes. Their good here. Great bang for my buck with the bowl of green Chile chicken soup. My eating teammates got more chicken strips than they can handle too. And for no reason how about a random thought question: when you hear Monday Night Football, what specific game comes to mind? Mine will always be the Jets/Dolphins Jumbo Elliot game. Look it up. 5 stars read more

Took our company team out to lunch today at Tulsa's and it was great. Food was solid and service was on point. Nice to have another good option on Paseo. read more

Had a wonderful lunch with my mother and sister in-laws. The restaurant is beautiful and inviting,

Good food. Really nice ambiance. Staff was friendly too. This place isn't spectacular but it's a solid choice for a weeknight dinner or easy lunch. My Reuben was good. Didn't care for the Greek salad at all (if you love eating red onions with a cucumber chunk or two, check it out). I'll be back. read more

We finally stopped in tonight for dinner and were thoroughly impressed. The Airline Chicken was well seasoned and delicious, as was the accompanying sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. I had the Casa Margarita and my daughter had the Santa Fe Blue and both were amazing. The desserts were very good as well! The service was great, no complaints! Can't wait to go back. read more

Great atmosphere...very clean and beautiful art throughout! Very warm and friendly service and excellent food. My husband has a very surprising delicious alcoholic pumpkin pie flavored drink and an tasty salmon w with linguine, capers and cherry tomatoes. I had a tasty grown up grill cheese with ham and bacon. My favorite treat was the heavenly peach crepes with candied walnuts, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream!! We can't wait to return and we highly recommend Tulsa's Kitchen!! read more

Food and services were great. Ambiance was super chill. I would recommend to friends and family

Great food, even offering delicious adult beverages. The menu is extremely diverse, there is absolutely something there for everyone! We had excellent service and can't wait to go back again! Don't miss this place, it's an offshoot of Dion's and worth every penny! read more

I saw Tula's while driving on Paseo, and I finally decided to go check it out. I ordered the Rueben Sandwich with the Green Chile Chicken Stew on the side. I enjoyed every bite, and the buttered part of the bread was a great way to complement the flavors of the rest of the sandwich. The stew was a nice addition to the meal, though I wish it had more heat spice-wise. I also ordered the Berry Cobbler for dessert, and it was a great way to top off the meal. Overall, I would recommend this dish, and I'm going to try out other items the next time I stop by. read more

Oh Tulas! You have so much potential! I know it is hard to find good help these days, but honestly, if you are promoting more of a "cafeteria" feel to your restaurant, then get rid of your servers. This is the second time I have been here and I am not really sure why you employ servers. All they do is bring drinks and then basically disappear. I had to go to the bar to get a refill and this was after I literally had to wave my hands in the air to get a servers attention, and they still didn't bring the refills. You are already have customers order at the counter, might as well have them pick up their food and drinks there also. It would be quicker and you could lose all that useless "server" overhead. The food is good, but over priced for the type of establishment this is. To me, it felt like an il vicino, but not as efficient. I really want to like this place, but your business model isn't working. read more

I really enjoy the chicken scallopini here. It is the perfect portion, the price is reasonable, and it tastes really good. The servers are all very friendly and it's a nice place for a family dinner or for a couple. read more

I had a pretty good first visit with a great and attentive server, on my next trip it seemed different, with less attentive staff, and perhaps food that didn't seems as tasty the first time around. Overall I liked it the first time and hope the second experience was just an off day for the establishment. read more

It's got a very bright ambiance, the service is attentive and friendly . Everything we've tried so far has been very good.

We stopped by after reading about the restaurant on line. My wife had the chicken salad and I had the kebab. Service was wonderful, food fresh and plentiful. We really enjoyed it and will be back. read more

Four of us for lunch today. We sat in the outdoor space, which was very nice. However, the food for all left a lot to be desired. The Chicken Salad Salad was waaaay salty, with too much chicken salad for the too little amount of greens. The Chicken Scallopini was deep fried, I think. And much too spicy for scallopini. We all shared the peach crepes for dessert, the sauce which is yummy with the vanilla ice cream, but the peaches are from frozen. Portions are large, but a lot of mediocre food doesn't mean much. Our server was very good, but none of us are interested in going back for more. read more

We live near a Tula's and love going there! Outdoor patio us awesome and they also have a nice bar area. The mac n cheese is the best in ABQ! Same with the grilled cheese sandwiches. Definitely try the prime rib on the weekends. read more

Had the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken had absolutely no flavor. Ordered a side of Mac and cheese with green Chile. Glad I ordered the chile because other than that it was dry and bland. The service was also very slow. We didn't get refills until our meal was almost over even though the waiter took refills to the table behind us multiple times. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

The place is nice looking, but small for seating. You order up front given a number and then you hope to find a seat. Also it is so loud, you cannot hear the person you're sitting with. I ordered the Ruben. It was very disappointing. If you make one, know how to make it. The corn beef had no flavor, the sauerkraut was over heated, brown, and very salty, I'm used to sauerkraut being lite and flavorful. The salad was good, so liked the veggies cut and the dressing. My daughter was very disappointed in the Mac n Cheese. The chicken strip was not bad, was tender, but was slightly bland. I am hoping that they fix the kinks as they move forward. read more

We tried Tula's late one recent afternoon. We were seated promptly at a wonderful outdoor table. Water arrived shortly after and then our order was taken. The wait staff was very helpful. Food arrived promptly, and was excellent. We had a great time. Great experience (the Reuben!). The interesting thing is that we tried Tula's even after reading a very recent negative review. Our experience was completely different than that suggested by that review. We will be back. read more

Had a "only in ABQ" moment yesterday. Came in, ordered food (glad they changed the ordering process) sat down and promptly got our drink and ordered at the same time. Pretty good so far fight? Well, the problem is, we never really saw our waiter again. Sorry, to be accurate, we saw him walking around but never came back to our table. In fact, we sat for 30 minutes and he never came back. Now to be fair, I tend to be impatient so I didn't say anything after 25 minutes of not having our order. The place was not that crowded (try to be understanding with staffing issues still continuing, etc) Finally after about 30 minutes, made I contact with our server and he came over and asked, "did I take your order"? We were not sure what to say. Yes, 30 minutes ago. "Oh, I forgot to put it in, what did you want again". Don't bother, just give me the bill for our ice tea and my wife's drink. "OK". Fortunately, the Manager noticed and came by and asked if we were OK. I told him what happened and he apologized and told us not to worry about my wife's drink. Sigh, we support local businesses always but Tula's needs to figure out how to up their game. They know how to do it, we love Dion's amazing as everyone knows. We ended up at Chili's down the parking lot for buffalo wings, egg rolls and about 3000 calories in other starters but at least we ate read more

We finally stopped by to check out Tulas! I'm completely in love with the whole vibe! Beautiful atmosphere for sure! The food was okay- we ordered the tator tots and chile strips! I would eat those chile strips as my whole meal- just bring me a huge plate! My husband got the flank steak, it was okay he ordered it medium rare and it was well done. I got the pork sandwich which didn't have any sauce on it and pulled pork without sauce is just dry and harder to eat. I loved the toasted bun, apple cole slaw, and flavor, but that meat needed something. We were both enjoyed our meal, but I feel like this is so close to being great! It's good for sure but I'm confident they will work out some kinks! read more

I look at 3 things when I rate restaurants. They are ambience, service, and food. This has an amazing ambience and a great service but the food was horrible. The waiter came several times to make sure the food was good and she filled the lemonade. They have a very limited selection of food. We ordered tater tot's, Mediterranean nosh, chicken salad- sandwich, tomato bisque, grilled cheese sandwich, mac & cheese, and butter noodles for the kids and some lemonade. Tomato bisque was decent, but we didn't like any of the rest. They have a bar which we did not try. I guess if you would like to try some drinks and get some bar food, then this might be OK. I personally neither liked the selection of the food, nor the taste. We did not try the deserts. I wouldn't go there with my family again. read more
