Swung by Concord on the way back from the White Mountains, and this place seems to be a popular breakfast spot. General Tucker's was packed on a Sunday. Casual interior. We called ahead for takeout and ate at one of the three big picnic tables outside to be safe during COVID. Sizable parking lot is a plus. There are 2 locations in the town. The food - Tucker Time: 2 eggs your style, home fries, and choice of French toast or pancakes. We paid a little extra to have the pancakes swapped out for seasonal pumpkin pancakes. These pancakes are quite large. Unfortunately the taste was a bit artificial, probably to be expected for pumpkin flavored pancakes in general. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Home fries were standard and could taste fresher. - Erica's breakfast melt: yummy, but I wish it's larger. Stopped by Tucker's on a Monday after a nice little getaway at the lake. To say the least, this place was unbelievably good! I had the Sedona Skillet and added maple sausage to it. The chipotle aioli drizzle is incredibly good! Their sourdough bread was so good as well. I was so full and happy after my meal. I usually don't get super excited about breakfast places because they feel the same overall, but this one was a true hidden gem! I tried their salted caramel chai as well: not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. We have tried to stop by on a Sunday after a trip before and the wait time has been over an hour. On a Monday, the wait time was just 15 minutes. If you got the time to wait and are not in a rush, it is 100% worth it. The staff is very attentive and friendly and they do have a parking lot. It was fairly full on a Monday so keep this in mind when thinking of going on a weekend. We will be back for sure! read more

My favorite Tucker's location! The staff is are some of the nicest restaurant employees, and are very attentive. The food is always fantastic and tastes super fresh. Our first time here and a superior experience. We ordered a basic breakfast (perfect sunny side up eggs, hash browns, sausage/bacon), sourdough toast, and fair coffee. All excellent-- but could have slightly more done toast. And the coffee was just ok, but nicely served in xtra large mugs. Michelle, our server, was perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, perfect. And I do appreciate the respect Tuckers has for food waste. Lastly - comforting atmosphere. What a diner should be. Cons - This policy of not seating everyone until the entire party has arrived is ridiculous. What's the point of putting a name in to /reserve/ a table, if you cannot sit there? This is our first time eating here, and presumably our last time. I do realize that it is Father's Day, but my husband was in a crunch of time. We put our name in so that we had plenty of to sit and spend with family. Pros - The food was very good. I had the Buffalo chicken quesadillas, and they were good. We were visiting Concord in the fall and we Yelped a search for breakfast restaurants, and Tucker's was at the top. We arrived on a busy Saturday morning, and we were told that our wait was 55 minutes, it was a bit more. Coffee is available for you while you wait to be called, in house blend, dark roast, decaf, hazelnut and pumpkin spice. In my opinion you should stay away from Pumpkin spice unless you want a mouthful of spice and cinnamon (with a hint of pumpkin) in your mouth. There was no trash to pour my pumpkin spice coffee so I pour it outside, sorry, but it was nasty. We picked our food from the menu during the long wait, so we wanted to order right away, but our server Natasha asked us to wait until after she brought two waters. She came and took our order, service was slow. The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean, a bit noisy.. Several people were waiting on food, it seemed like it took an eternity for food to come. It gave me plenty of time to clearly detail my review. I ordered the meat lovers skillet scramble with toast and baked beans. The meat was nicely cooked and the scrambled eggs were plain, I poured Cholula for taste. The toast was cold, and the beans were canned, sadly. My partner ordered the tribal bowl, came with lots of sausage, cheese and sweet potato, potato hash, and the eggs on top. The sweet potato was the highlight of the dish. The dish comes with naan, it arrived 10 minutes later. This was our first restaurant in Concord, and I was not a 4 or 5 star experience. You get a solid 3 stars. read more

Tuckers in Concord- vibes v good, seating comfy and sat quickly despite being busy, it is set up really well so that you have privacy and the sound is spread out! quick turn around between order and food, got the sunny side so yummy- a side of watermelon- love! I have loved Tucker's since my first visit almost 4 years ago. Since I'm not from New England, Tucker's is a must stop every time I come through the area. There has never been a single visit where I have had something I didn't enjoy. Today's specialty was the Turkey Trot which is basically turkey and dressing and cranberry sauce with cheese on a roll. I went to Tuckers with my family today for New Years brunch! We called ahead of time to add our name to the "wait list" since you cannot reserve a table. We arrived 40 min after calling and still waited an additional hour to be seated but it was SO worth it! Maybe it's just me but I could wait hours if I know I'm going to be served delicious food. Pam our waitress was an absolute delight. She was very attentive and welcoming. My family ordered a variety of food from pork mac and cheese, to french toast, omelets, eggs Benny, and more! Literally anything and everything is on the menu. Portions are perfect not to much, not to little, prices are great, and service was on point.
