Orange clove latte + cinnamon bun with cream cheese frosting on a Saturday morning
    S A.

This place gives my favorite places in Berkeley, San Francisco, Boston, and New York a run for their money. I usually don't like a lot of stuff in my coffee but their creative concoctions never disappoints (e.g., orange clove latte, iced shaken Muscovy). Glad we have this in good old NH. Friendly, professional staff. Very peasant ambience. Go here for coffee !

Make sure to ask for the cookie warmed up!

Fantastic, cozy little coffee shop hidden away in Downtown Concord. This place fills the gap that True Brew left and more. I appreciate it's comforting college town coffee shop vibes with low lighting and vast seating. The local art hanging is a great touch and the staff are super friendly. Many ask these days, free Wi-Fi? Well of course! You will always catch many people working/studying in here, and there is a reason why. I internally and externally wish they could relocate to my college town so I could spend way too many hours in here sip sipping and pretending to study, all in an effort to spend my entire paycheck on lattes and scones. Now what's actually important: the coffee. The mocha latte always brings a smile to my lips and the namesake cortado has a perfect balance. As newb to the coffee scene (I don't grind my own beans guys, go easy on me), I can't speak reliably, but I know this place is a step above most. Take this with a grain of salt, however, as I am still not man enough to throw back macchiatos. More milk for me, please. The pastries I've had so far have been fantastic. The chocolate chip cookie was top tier - believe me, I know my chocolate chip cookies - and should definitely be enjoyed with a cup of milk (or just a foamy latte if you're a hopeless romantic like me). The scone (I forget the flavor, sue me) was fantastic, buttery and fruity! The chocolate chip muffin I had today had amazing texture and depth, with hints of what I think were orange zest! Whoever is in charge of the food is absolutely killing it. With all baked items, make sure to reply with a resounding "Yes!" when asked if you would like the item heated up. Despite having only visited Brothers Cortado a handful of times now, I feel it growing as my home away from home that is still close to home (does this make sense? I think it should). Whenever on break from school, I look for to an excuse to visit. Just today, I ran into an old high school friend and caught up with him over a warm cup of coffee! How awesome is that? Regretably, however, I still have not dropped in for Cinnamon Roll Saturday despite my exuberant love for cinnamon rolls... the fated day is soon approaching. There are other coffee shops in town that you can try to argue serve a better cup (I don't think they do), but quite honestly if I am paying upwards of 4 dollars for a spro and some warm milk, I am paying for the whole package of the establishment. Undeniably, Brothers Cortado beats all other places in Concord by a country mile.

Had a late flight planned so I needed somewhere to crash and work for the day and this was the spot! Super comfortable seating, lots of outlets, and plenty of good food options and coffee to keep me going :) the customer service here is the best- they brought everything out to me which was really great since I was working and had my backpack with me. There are so many great creative drink options and I love that they make their own syrups. They have a ton of savory food options and the frittata was very filling. 10/10!! Loved hanging out here and would definitely come here again. Mid morning was kind of busy noise-wise with folks coming in, but got quiet again after 11 am.

Right off the bat when you walk in the door the wonderful aroma of coffee fills your nose. The ambiance is calming and motivating at the same time. You will be greeted by a helpful and friendly staff. I only drink nitro black myself but they offer a variety of options to suit all tastes and desires. They have even gone as far as putting dragonfruit tea on a nitro line! The king of coffee himself offered me a friendly free sample while I was visiting and it was smooth and delightfully tasty. I still give it 5 stars although the food options are limited. I would prefer a hearty breakfast sandwich or avocado toast with my coffee. So you're looking for heavy mountainous food this is not the place, it is more of a pastry vibe. I highly suggest you visit and try it for yourself.

Very nice spot in downtown Concord. Atmosphere is lively and the paintings on the walls are beautiful. The cafe is very spacious with plenty of seating areas to choose from which I prefer for cafes. I had the hot chocolate, the temperature of the drink was perfect and the taste was delicious! The drink menu has plenty of other options as well. The only aspect I would have preferred was if the dessert options were more extensive. They only had scones when I went, I'm not sure if they rotate the desserts throughout the week, but some muffins or slices of banana bread, etc would be perfect! Overall, definitely enjoyed having my cup of hot chocolate here and will come back!

I visited this coffee shop for the first time yesterday, as I was visiting New England on a work trip. The location was convenient & quiet in the middle of Concord, the outside of the shop was interestingly decorated, I wasn't greeted by staff and indeed the staff who took my first order wasn't the least bit friendly/no smile/nothing, my coffee was delicious, the dining room was clean, there was plenty of comfortable seating, well lit, plenty of electrical outlets, the restroom was clean, and the free WI-Fi worked great.

Amazing cold brew and lattes! All their custom syrups and latte flavors look amazing. I'll be coming back for sure and try them all.

    Regular latte and chai latte

Great little coffee spot right on Bicentennial Square in downtown Concord! Had delicious and beautiful chai lattes and regular lattes along with super yummy goat cheese and mushroom frittatas. Quick service with a smile and beautiful local art displayed on the walls. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Will definitely be going back again and again!

    Cayenne and bourbon vanilla latte.

Another great coffee spot in Concord. Great lattes and cinnamon rolls. Cool chill vibe and lots of choices. Great service too!

They offered to put them in now, but we decided to decline. Server came over to apologize in a very casual way, like maybe she forgets a lot of things through out the day (I could never be a server, so I get it) but she did write down our order and she verified dipping sauce, so I don't really know how she forgot to put our order in correctly. I honestly just chalked it up to us being fat so we didn't really need them anyway, oh well. This location is convenient, so we will be back, but I do prefer the Portsmouth location, or even Bedford. But this one is good too, it just seems like on the days they are open later, the staff is a little less... helpful. Maybe we will stick to brunch hours and see how that works. The menu here has also changed, and we really miss the old menu. The selections are now mediocre, and things you could get anywhere else. I miss the unique menu of things that were creative and layered, and just different. The menu now consists of 2 small pages, with pancakes, omelets, eggs Benedict, burritos, and a few lunch options with burgers. The hot chick sandwich is really great, but it was better before when it was called something else. It feels like the menu went a little *New England white tastebuds* instead of keeping the flavorful, unique items. I'm only taking away one star for the menu change. Our server not putting our order in correctly was annoying, especially since I only order apps because my blood sugar was low and thought they'd come out quickly, but it wasn't enough to keep me from coming back. I just hope they will bring back the old menu.

The menu is quite plentiful, so maybe peak before. They had pumpkin maple bacon as a special when we went - my three favorite things. It did not disappoint. What did disappoint was the time it took to get our food. The place was next to dead, and we were still there for an hour. My potatoes were luke warm when I got them. My burrito, however, was quite good. Street parking is the way to go.

Banana/strawberry and holy shit it was incredible!!! I. LOVED. IT!!! Damn it was good. I think it was like $12 tho? Am I crazy to think...meh, it's ok, (the price) I was on a holiday and you are supposed to enjoy whatever? haha!! I would normally never spend that much on a freaking smoothie! HOWEVER! Once we got into Manchester, VT....we saw another The Works Bakery...I SHO DID get another one lol. I was surprised to see that this place is a chain. When we were in Concord...it kind of felt like this was a place exclusive to Concord. Nah, it's not. Thats ok tho. I got a smoothie at a coffee house in just outside Bar Harbor and it was absolute garbage. So it was nice to have one where they actually have you what you ordered. Most places in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire all allow dogs. I travel with my little Yorkie wherever I go. Alfred loves to travel haha! He is my child...seeing as I do not have any human kids. My dog is my life. So it's nice when you go into places and they welcome dogs. This place....does not tho. Thats boooo! HOWEVER! I TOTALLY understand! I TRULY do! I travel with my dog everywhere, but yes, I do realize this place is a restaurant and they all have their rules. I just love restaurants that allow dogs haha! I am not one of those psychos that will tear a place apart about not allowing dogs. I am one who actually respects policies like this. And yes, I bring my dog with me bc it's just me...and my dog. He is a 6lb Yorkie who I will never leave alone nor would I ever kennel him. I say all this bc so many people out there judge others who bring their dogs everywhere. He is a family member. He comes with me. Just go to this place wherever you run into one. It really is a great place. They were all SO nice in there even when they asked my take Alfie back outside. OH for the record too...I carry my little man everywhere with me. He's not like...running around everywhere...marking his territory lol Atmosphere in this location is very nice. Kinda dark and Lodgy feeling. Its nice. Located too in what I am assuming is a historic building. Noce view of the downtown area too if you take you lunch or whatever outside to their outdoor seating...which I am guessing is probably brought in now...seeing as it is almost December. Ok thats it. I know I rambled a lot here, but I feel it all fits with my review. I ramble a lot to begin with. If you read this...thank you! We chilled with the folks up front for a good bit before getting a table. It seemed we were the only people that had not been here 30-40 times before. Most people didn't even want menus and the sweet server ladies just brought them food without conversation at all. It's kind of old school feeling inside. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. Inside is all wooden and rustic. It reminds me of my grandmas house in Camden TN. Not sure why. It's just really comfortable in here to me. The tile and fireplaces make super cozy. This place has some of the best chili that I have had in a long time. I dig the fact they give tortilla shops automatically with the chili. Win!! Thick and meaty and oh so filled with spice and love!! Cheese on top was a nice touch too. Really liked it! My French dip was fucking killer!! So damn big too! I could only eat half of it because of the the fire ass chili I had already eaten. French fries were battered type. Nothing wrong with that!! I drove around with this sandwich for two days of travel and ate it on the road later. Stupendous French dip!! C had an open faced roast beef sandwich. FIRE!!
