I cannot for the life of me understand how this place got a 4.8 rating. I ordered maple sausage and instead of maple sausage I got what looked and tasted like a hot dog. No sign of maple what so ever. I sent it back and asked for bacon instead. Waitress came back within 2 minutes with the worst bacon I have ever had. It was burnt and so salty I couldn't eat it. My avocado toast was made with stale sourdough bread and the avocado was so cold that it made the egg on it cold. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy. There was nothing homemade about those biscuits and the gravy was not good. He also had bacon and eggs. The eggs looked strange and the bacon was slightly better than mine, but that is not saying much. I also ordered hot chocolate and I have no idea how you ruin that, but it tasted like it was made with water not milk. I couldn't finish it. I would never eat at this place again or recommend it to anyone I know. Worse breakfast ever! read more

We were in Concord to visit my brother that's in law school there and was told this was the place to get a really good brunch in town. They were right! There was no wait for us on a Monday morning and we got seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and our food came out in the right amount of time. The biscuits and gravy were incredible. We frequent Tuckers! I usually bring my son for breakfast at least once a week ( It's our mommy and son date time). We always ask for the same server her name is Becky. She always remembers our names and the food is fantastic! All food items are made with fresh local ingredients! We have never had a bad meal! The servers are kind, friendly, and attentive! They always go our of their way to make sure we are well cared for and enjoy our food and time there! Tuckers is our go to breakfast place and that won't change anytime soon! read more

Top three breakfast spot of all time. As far as food goes, as good as it gets, and the proof of that is the 1HR plus wait on the weekends... for breakfast! Love that they poach your eggs if you ask, even on weekends. Love that they offer both; hash browns & home fries. Love thick cuts of homemade bread for toast. Cooked really well... always. The staff is super friendly. The parking is appropriate. I went in for lunch too. Had a turkey club; love the 'club'! My problem w/ clubs in general is an internal issue I have wrestled with for so long. Okay, by definition, the club sandwich is three slices of bread & bacon. But, I am among a growing mob that wants to see the third slice thrown away. Keep the bacon (Not crazy wreck less!). And, for heavens sake stop cutting it in those little triangles. You pile five or six hefty items between bread & try and pass it off as finger food!?! The only one who will get the ingredients to my, "club", that's cut like that is the dude across the restaurant. Once my, "gentile", bear paws pick up the overstuffed tiny triangle, the grip I have to give it forces the innards out like a .45 round from the muzzle of a Marine's sidearm. Now the toothpick is literally something that is not covered under my 2nd Amendment rights, but should be at this point... They do it right at Tucker's. Plenty of fresh ingredients, solid and moist turkey, tucked (No pun intended) between that great bread I mentioned. And, only two pieces of bread, cut in half (Cut in half... save the toothpick). They didn't skimp on the bacon either! Stuff that might make you wary; just give me the bottle of ketchup. Don't like to ask for ketchup in a plastic shot glass, or jam not on table. No counter service for breakfast. A little pricey, but worth it. I was two poached eggs over hash, marble rye toast (BTW, it came buttered & stacked properly; butter on butter, not stacked in series. Oh yeah, I'm so A-type about breakfast...), and hash browns. Coffee. Good coffee. Choices too. It all came to $16. Lastly, they figured out the wait too. Good seating (If the weather's good), and they have a coffee bar while you mark time for your meal! Genius. Why don't more breakfast places do this?? 4 1/2 Stars read more

Tucker's is the kind of place where you can randomly point to anything on the menu and it's guaranteed delicious. Have been to Concord and New London locations, the breakfasts and lunches are consistently excellent and the wait staff friendly. I just had the lemon ricotta pancakes from the summer specials menu; had every bite they were so good (but now I'm like Thanksgiving dinner full). Expect a short wait for a table in Concord on weekdays, but there is seating, coffee and locals to pass the time. read more

I'm not one to just give me away 5 stars. Although, I have to tell you this place deserves all of them. The 20 minute wait was worth it on a Friday at 8:45am. And made more pleasing due to a self serve Coffee bar. The staff was very friendly! Usually breakfast menus are plain and normal. Not here! They had a huge selection that you can ala carte too Olivia ordered the Chocolate mint chip frozen drink with Eggs in the Basket(2 farm fresh eggs grilled inside Challah bread with corned beef hash and house potatoes). She ate ALL of it! That is not her thing. Olivia rarely eats breakfast. Her comment, BEST breakfast ever! I ordered Dark coffee with Meatlovers scramble(3 eggs with sausage, bacon, ham, peppers, onions, and American cheese along with hash browns and sourdough toast). Again to echo Olivia, Best breakfast ever! Very hometown feel with a bit of an update. Definite place to stop if you are in the area! I could see this place being a hangout if we lived close by. Came by Tucker's on a Thursday morning after my daughter had a craving for waffles. WOW this place did not disappoint! From our choice of three locally-sourced coffee selections, to organic and healthy breakfast choices, this place was amazingly good. As another Yelper mentioned the menu is different but delicious. The service was also exceptional and waitstaff was nice. The Mitch breakfast sandwich was probably one of the best I ever had. My daughter devoured her waffles. Looks like parking could be an issue on weekends when it's probably very packed but we didn't have any problem finding a space during the week. We can't wait to get back to NH and eat here again. read more

My friend and I checked this place out after seeing the great reviews on Yelp. We were not disappointed. The self serve coffee bar while you wait is a fantastic idea. The coffee was really good. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and upgraded the hash browns to the ones with the red quinoa, spinach and cheddar. They were very tasty and everything came out hot. Now this is a (small) chain I can get down with. Locally sourced ingredients. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The waitstaff are very friends and not too overly courteous. I came here for a late breakfast while driving through. Thanks to Yelp for suggesting! There was a short wait but there was coffee to enjoy and menus to look at while we waiting. The menu is has far too many delicious options that I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat! I ended up going with the Tucker's Rancheros and sure didn't regret it. Although the bennies and everything else looked so good. Next time I'll have to try out one of the many Benedict's! read more

The only bad thing about this place is there be never not a very long wait but they have a self serve coffee station that you can help yourself to which makes waiting much more tenable, especially if you are hangry. Food is always excellent. It's hard to pick what to eat cause there are tons of great options and everything seems to always be cooked perfectly. Don't go here if you are in a hurry because you will never get in and out in a timely manner but if you have time, this place is worth the wait and probably the best breakfast in Concord. read more

Picture this: It's Tuesday morning, about 7:00am. I have some time to grab breakfast with my husband before heading into work. We discuss grabbing a quick bagel, but decide to treat ourselves and go have a nice sit-down brekkie together. We had never been to Tucker's and did not know what to expect. This was the first time we have seen it where there wasn't an outrageous wait. Walking in it's very bright and welcoming. It's simple decor, which is wonderful. There is a coffee station to your left where you can have a cup of coffee while you wait, and the mugs are color-coded (which is a great idea). We did not partake because we were seated straight away! Our hostess and server were prompt, friendly and very helpful. Their coffee is DIVINE. So perfect! My husband ordered the Brisket Bennie, which was on special. I got the Veggie Bennie. The orders came quickly! Our Bennies were out of this world! So fresh! Every single item on the plate looked like it was taken fresh off the farm. Absolutely stunning! The homefries could have used a little more seasoning, but it's okay. My husband added S&P and I used a little ketchup to dip a few potatoes in. The bill was less than what we expected, too. Overall just a wonderful experience having breaskfast there. Absolutely perfect little breakfast date. We will be visiting again as soon as we can! read more

We were in Concord for service on our RV at CUMMINS. The service manager recommended Tucker's restaurant and boy are we glad. We were so happy & pleased with all the the folks who worked there starting with the hostess, Brenda, who welcomed us with her beautiful smile & greeting each of our 4 mornings we ate there. From there we were promptly greeted by our waitress, again with a smile & our drink order. Thanks to Maddie, Pam & Michelle for excellent & friendly service. Our food was served promptly as ordered & did not disappoint. My only caveat is - go early. One day we arrived at 9:30 and had a 30 minute wait. Tuckers is hit or miss. Generally the breakfast is good but quite a bit expensive. Wait staff are sometimes good but most of the time marginally ok. Many of the local places that are mom and pop shops give senior and or veteran discounts. I have not found that here at any of the three Tuckers locations that I have been to. The breakfast at Tuckers will cost 25 to 30 dollars with a decent tip for the wait staff. The mom and pop locations cost 7 to 12 dollars plus tip. I generally leave five dollars for a tip. Rarely do I leave less as these people are working for a living like I did prior to retirement. Tuckers charges for a refill of ice coffee. Most of the mom and pop shops do not and will even give you one to go for free! read more
