We probably over ordered a bit. All the rolls are great. Some of the Aburi rice is a bit loose but the flavor is good. I am happy that they have mini udon on the menu. It's like they know what kids like. I love all the Ghibli posters as decor. It's a fun and inviting place for family and friends.

They just implemented a new takeout menu for a quick reasonable lunch if you're in the area. We ordered: Donkatsu $17 Deluxe negiri and beef udon $25 The pork katsu was well seasoned and juicy for such a lean cut of meat. It comes with miso soup, shredded cabbage and rice The sauce wasn't the typical tonkatsu sauce but a more mild version of it. I think it was well priced for the amount of food. The Deluxe nigiri came with 7 different pieces of fish, including squid and ebi. 2 shrimp tempura and a vegetable one. The beef udon broth was flavourful with a soothing mix of dashi and beef. We were very full after all of the food and the service was good. The only negative is probably the parking. Pay parking around the area or maybe park at the mall and walk over. Over all a great meal!

This place is ran by Korean and yes they also serve Korean food as well. They have a screen that you can place your order or even request your server to come over. The food was delicious and prices are very reasonable. The restaurant has free parking and the restaurant itself is quite big. The seating are comfy. The decor was good. I enjoyed eatting here and would definitely be coming back.

The restaurant is spacious and cozy. For each table there is a tablet for ordering. I ordered a Soy Chicken Karaage Donburi as it looked delicious on the menu pics. The rice bowl came with miso soup. The donburi looked good with sufficient portion for a strong man. It was tasty, however as I kept eating the soy chicken karaage got more and more salty. Finally I couldn't have anymore. I finished the rice and it was well cooked. I drank two cups of tea after having the donburi. I didn't try other dishes, perhaps I will give them a try when I come here next time. I do hope the chef could make it less salty. Apart from that, service was fine and the ambient was quiet and tidy.

We arrived to an unassuming strip mall and were welcomed by Keith and his wife into a rock and roll themed restaurant. We were the only diners that Thursday night and Keith took us on a sushi journey that lived up to expectations (all the reviews I read were great) all the ingredients were so fresh and they were fantastic hosts describing every dish. So glad we came to experience. Not only a great chef but Keith is an incredibly nice guy who obviously devotes his craft for his customers.

An absolute A+ to Chef Keith and Chika for their mastery of perfecting a great omakase experience in the tricities. They are reservations only (and for a good reason!) and this can be done on their new online portal!! by controlling the number of seatings, Chef K and Chika are able to interact and share their craft with patrons in an intimate and personal way. There is no hustle and bustle or fakeness that would otherwise follow some restaurant vibes. There is purely passion for fish, customer service and, of course, metal music! I urge you to dine at the chefs bar and let Chef K tell you his extensive and wonderful background from catering some A list bands, to being on tour, and changing restaurant models all while being fed an amazing feast. The fish is sourced from Japan and screams quality and flavour. He knows exactly what he's doing with all the fish profiles and pairing them with a variety of notes like shiso, yuzu and ginger. Between the 14 unbelievably mouth watering and satisfying dishes, Chef K and Chika's kindness shared the spotlight easily. Humble beginnings have led to an extraordinary and legendary journey for SKK. Some of the special highlights were the blue fin tuna, South American jumbo prawn, Spanish mackerel and the scallops. I cannot wait to bring my omakase/metal loving friends and family here to join in on the greatness because sharing truly is caring and this gem is too awesome to keep to myself!
