Alaska roll, negitoro maki and uni nigiri

I always like the food at sushi mura. The quality is there, with fresh fish and cooked items. I like the mura bento box here as it is different from the usual bento boxes of teriyaki protein with California roll, salad and the same old nigiri of salmon, tuna and prawn at many other Japanese restaurants. The mura bento box has 9 items with miso soup. It is like a teishoku or makunouchi. I like how the items are not the typical stuff. Everything is delicious. The chawanmushi could be more delicate and softer. The portion is quite a lot if you're a small eater or had something before coming here. Service is good. Staff is pleasant. The other thing I don't like is the touch screen ordering system. You cannot swivel it to face you so you get a crick in the neck from tilting and turning your head to look at it. Not sure if they still have a physical menu for those who have limited neck mobility. I like that it's next to Paris Baguette so you can go there before or after dining here.

The restaurant is very clean, service is quick and they were happy to fill tea or water. The food is fresh, doesn't feel too salty or sweet as at the time of visit I had a bit of pain in my mouth, but their food were not too extreme. Would recommend this restaurant.

We love Katsuya! Im my own opinion, it's a Korean take, on a Japanese classic. A tad bit different…read morethan "saku", but has all its own highlights and perks. It has more of a casual and homey feel which makes the food even more comforting when consumed. We tried a lot of different dishes, and they are all delicious. Fairly priced. Ample parking in this location, and service is friendly and quick. Never a disappointment! Know what to expect and know expectations will be met. Not very vegetarian friendly tho. So leave them at home.

It didn't feel particularly homey or comfortable sitting in to eat. Nothing inherently wrong with it but it just felt dated and not too special. The food itself is good but it's not as well balanced as Saku's flavours. Last time I came here, the rice accompanied by my set meal was soft and borderline mushy, so the consistency is really hit or miss here. The restaurant plays loud music and it isn't the most comfortable place to sit, eat and chat. Overall, it's alright. Price is a bit expensive for what you get (and no unlimited refills on salad, soup or rice (or none that I was ever made aware of)) but it does the job. I prefer Saku to here but it's still a good option to have in this area

They give you a very small scoop of rice to soak up the remaining sauce. I quite liked my dish. It had a good amount of flavor, and was mildly spicy. However, the dish was quite oily. They recommend adding vinegar whenever the dish feels too salty or oily, so I tried adding a light splash of vinegar. At first I was worried it would ruin the dish, but it didn't. It helped with the oil. I was disappointed in the amount of rice that they offered, but it is also complimentary, so I can't really complain. We also got the chicken karaage with honey mayo to share. The dip was so good. The chicken was tender. At times it was a bit hard to flag down a server, because we were in a bit of an odd spot. However, whenever they were at our table the customer service was good. Our server was honest about their regular sized portions being on the small size, so he recommended that I do the free upgrade to XL.

I had decided to go to Tokyo Kokoro Mazesoba after hearing from a family member say it was pretty good. We went for lunch, which wasn't busy. Mind you it was a weekday so it makes sense. Once seated we had the option to order off the iPad or with the waitress. We ordered: Classic Minced Meat Sauce Mazesoba $16.50 -added a pork tonkatsu $7.95 Chashu Ramen $17.95 What both dishes were missing was finesse. Sometimes the simplest things can ruin a dish. The mazesoba was covered in so much green onions, you couldn't tell that it was suppose to be a noodle dish. The tonkatsu felt like a frozen chicken nugget and was super dry. The ground fish powder should really be an option that you can sprinkle your own on it like salt or pepper because it really over powered the dish completely. The Ramen was fine. It really didn't blow me away nor did the chunky whites of the green onion enjoyable at all. It was... just fine. I'm not sure if it was the day we went or just the lack of oversight in the ingredients or preparation but it wasn't good. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, and like any review you take it all with a grain of salt. I'm not saying don't go and try it, I'm saying maybe try a different location.
