The company who I pay for my panels has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Panels haven't been producing due to a faulty inverter for over 6 months! Over a month of back and forth sending pics and listening to their scripted excuses. They had the audacity to say "if your bill is a couple dollars, your panels aren't producing" WTF? How is that a method to monitor output??? $600 a month later in try up bills, I got tired of calling and yelling at them so I gave up. Enter TSP. They SAVED ME! I couldn't be more satisfied with the service Mario and his team provided. We had a leak in our roof, and the issue was further complicated because we have a solar roof (the panels were installed side by side with our tile, not just on top). This unique setup caused alot of confusion among other roofers we called to get a quote - we got a HUGE range of costs. On the other hand, Mario and his team quickly identified the problem (he's licensed for both solar panels and roof), gave detailed video explanations, and provided a detailed quote. The work began promptly and on time. The entire crew worked super hard, and Mario explained every step to me prior to beginning. I can not recommend Mario & The Solar Pros enough! I used another Solar Installer originally, and unfortunately they caused multiple leaks and damaged my roof when installing 26 panels. I've since learned the only way to go when installing solar, is to avoid the big companies (I used KOTA) and hire an experienced roofer certified in solar (like Mario)! You have 30,000 to 50,000 dollars over your head in roofing, protect it from big solar companies, ie amateur roofers! When it was obvious my previous company was not going to fix it (nor would I trust them to), I called the best reviewed East Bay companies for bids to fix the damage and reinstall the system. First off, Mario answers his phone himself, and can competently and honestly answer your questions. I got his bid in days, everyone else was weeks. He inspected it the next day, the others were weeks. He fixed the cover plate with the largest gap (sticking up in the air), and a few broken tiles with ones he happened to have in his truck just to be nice while inspecting my roof. Who does that? Mario! He greatly reduced the worst of my leaks before I hired him, and that saved me a lot of money since I was no longer getting so much interior water damage each rain. Mario worked with me on the price, and was 100% in line with the competing bids. After the job commenced, he proved each day I was an important client, answering my questions, and making sure his crew delivered as promised. He took pictures everyday of the damage they found (for my lawyer), and the progress on the reinstall. The materials he used are light years ahead of what I had (going from tar paper to high temp peel and stick underlayment). His crew started work a day or two after hire (other companies gave me estimates of 4 to 6 weeks), they worked hard each and every day, and they even came on a Sunday because there was a break in the rain. This dedication again saved me money, since each day was a day without solar. I could not have asked for more from his crew. Finally he came to inspect the work with me when the job was done, and they did exactly what we agreed. He not only fixed every leak, made my roof look new, and reinstalled the entire frame system perfectly, he improved my solar production. He repositioned my most powerful panels (I have 400w and 360w) where they would get the most sun, and added an extra string to my install to ensure there were no issues like I had in the past. My solar is back up and running better than ever, and I am so impressed with the roof work they did, I asked for a bid to upgrade the rest of my roof. His workmanship, experience, and 10 year warranty are worth every penny! read more
