Quick overview - Our Whirlpool dryer was having difficulty drying laundry. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't maintain the dryer vent until recently - and by then it was too late. I tried on my own to clean the vent - from using YouTube videos for guidance and extended brushes to clear out the vent. Unfortunately, too much wet lint had built up over the years.
