I think this place is good for the most part, as it's a friendly family run business in Madras ... And it has a VERY good vegetarian coconut milk soup!!! Yet it feels that the pricing is somewhat High and a couple of bowls of soup and a soda or two will run you over $20. But if you simply must have Thai, this is an acceptable place to go. But why so high? Also, I feel like a jerk for saying it because it is a small family-run business, but this place could you use a really good scrubbing down, especially the restroom.

Visited 7/25/2017 This is a great little Thai restaurant on the main street of Sandy Oregon on the way down from Mount Hood. A great selection of traditional Thai dishes to choose from. We started with the pop stickers which were not bad. I ordered the Penang curry with the heat level of two. It's still was quite spicy but so delicious you couldn't stop eating it. There was also a shrimp and fresh vegetable and noodles special that was also very delicious. The staff was friendly and it was a very pleasant dinner. I would recommend this anytime you're in a mood for Thai food. Enjoy PS The crab cream cheese rolls are magnificent and I must to try.

One of my girlfriends and I came down for lunch! We absolutely love this place. This is probably one of the only Thai places on the mountain!! Great service. I ordered the spicy pad thai & my friend ordered some kind of curry. My friend is a regular so the sweet waitress brought out these refreshing drinks! I love this place!

What a hidden gem!! Wow! Amazing little Thai restaurant!! Super friendly people! Highly recommended. They make a mango curry that will knock your socks off! Plenty of tasty items on the menu! Lots of vegetarian and meat options. The usual Thai staples and very kid friendly! Order a few items to try and be sure to get some mango sticky rice for dessert!!

Veggie rice wrap with peanut sauce. 4.95

Stopped in on a rainy day looking for some good Thai food. Our waiter greeted us and let us pick out our own place to be seated. Not much was said since he was not very fluent in English. No biggie, that's why we have fingers...to point. Our table and menus seemed a bit sticky, so I did the "dip your napkin in your water trick" to semi-clean them off. Plenty of vegetarian options. I ordered the rice wraps while my daughter ordered the chicken satay with peanut sauce. We waited about 10 minutes for our order. The rice wraps were fresh with no wilted veggies on the inside. Peanut sauce on the side was addicting. The chicken satay was awesome. Nicely seasoned with curry and soaked with that addicting peanut sauce. The only thing I'd change is how clean things are being kept. Bathrooms were dirty. Table and menus sticky. Very good food otherwise.

I've taken two bites out of this. This is the pad thai

How is this place compared to Thai Home? (The other restaurant in town). I tried Thai home and was not impressed.

Awesome!! Definitely a more tasty experience!

I dug right into the food. I apologize for not taking any pictures. This was a togo order. I did…read morenot call ahead. I showed up just after 5pm on a Sunday evening. They have a small and cozy dining hall that was full. I had all ready had an idea of what I would order but quickly looked at the menu just in case I wanted to take additional item home. I ordered papaya salad, pad see ew, and tom ka soup. I also got a thai tea to go. I might have waited 15-20 minutes for my order. There were also several call in orders that people came in to pick up. I am surprised at the speed they produced the food. The bench seat had a small view of the kitchen. I believe this is a very efficient full fledged family restaurant. Everyone was friendly and nice. The way they packaged the food was thoughtful. I had a 20 minute drive back home. It stayed warm /hot and no leakage even with the soup. Now the food: Papaya salad was delicious. Great flavor. My only issue is it was marked on the menu as spicy. *Morgan Freeman voice* -it was not in fact spicy. It was completely spice free. I know that SE asians are sweet to profile us pale people as no heat, but I was really looking forward to spice.... So for next time I will request heat added as I am a non-practicing alabaster person. To be fair, every fair complexion person with a togo order clarified that their food was "non spicy." I can't call them out for playing it safe. Yes queens. Pad see ew: shrimp was my protein. It was delicious. Regular broccoli was used. Chinese broc might be out of season. I don't care. It was great. Will eat again FR. Tom ka soup: the gem of this story. They made it without onions, be praised, as I have a horrible allergy and most of my one star food reviews are about food safety in relationship to ignoring food allergies. This was fresh, flavorful, bright. Great protein to both ratio. Probably one of the best versions I have ever had. Will be ordering again. Probably regularly. Thai tea: was great. Ice, tea, milk ratio good. I like less ice in my drinks... she somehow knew this. Now I know if I want Thai I have a place to call Thai Home (see what I did there), that I won't have to drive twice the distance to Portland to get fantastic Thai food. Honestly, I think this is way better than most of the thai restaurants in the greater portland area. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and subsequent left overs! 10/10.

Great Thai restaurant in Sandy. Small interior so limited seating when the patio isn't open!…read more Looks like they have a whole new patio being built which will be great for summer. The food is great, the medium spice is actually a solid medium level, highly recommend!

Because I will be back. We started off strong with a table full of appetizers. It was one of those "everyone grab something" moments, and listen... I had been up since 6am, starving, and completely forgot to take pictures until it was basically too late. But trust me, that alone should tell you how good it was. Crab puffs? Gone. Creamy, crispy perfection. Fried spring rolls? Devoured without hesitation. But that salt and pepper shrimp?? LISTEN. It tasted like somebody's grandma was in the back cooking with love. I could've eaten that as my full meal 10 times over and still asked for more. Then came the angel wings... OMG. At this point I was already full, borderline mad about it, because I wanted to keep eating. And I'm not usually a leftovers person....but these? Plus that one last shrimp sitting there? Oh no... they came home with me. And the best part? EVERYONE loved their food. No misses at the table. If you're debating, don't. Just go. And go hungry.
