New noodle house in sandy. Went in for a bowl of Pho'today. The place is clean inside and the server very friendly. The garnish plate was fresh with the usual bean sprouts, a piece of jalapeño some Thai basil and a lime wedge. The soup came out in a big bowl half full but the portion was adequate. Not like the huge servings at some places in the jade district of Portland. The broth was great, clear and not overly salty like some. Overall I did like it and will definitely be back again to try the pad thai and other dishes along with the pho'again. And I can say with certainty it's the best pho' in the city, cause it's the only pho' in the city and also to mention it was 2pm on a Thursday and was pretty busy, so it looks like we have a new winner in our small town read more

Pho, pad Thai and yakisoba are our go-to's. Have yet to explore more of the menu because these noodle dishes are so good we haven't gotten over it yet & will keep eating until we get over it. Also their Vietnamese iced coffee is 100% my FAVORITE coffee in LIFE thus far, service is immaculate: I once ordered a coffee to pick up but my 2y/o and 3 month old fell asleep in the car and waking up the 2 year old would've been my death sentence, so I was able to park right out front and called them and explained and a very sweet woman came out with a big smile and zero problems about it. it was our first time eating here, the place is clean, service was good, we were the only people in the restaurant having dinner. we ordered "popular" items on the menu suggested by the waiter. I got chicken pad thai and had the worst food poisoning. I had not eaten anything else that evening so I could not associate any other food to my symptoms besides the restaurant. About 20-30 min after eating I had the worst cramps of my life following by other GI symptoms. I washed my hands before eating as well. Ohhhh nooo!!!! I really wanted to love it, but it's just not great. There's nothing authentic about this place. The portions are tiny and it's expensive. Lemongrass chicken was maybe three slices of a Costco chicken breast with some sauce on it. Shrimp donuts were watery. The only thing I would say waa decent was the Thai ice tea . If your looking for pho soup, I'd find somewhere else to go cause this ain't it. First off, we were served half a bowl of soup. We were annoyed but could have looked past it. What really irked us was that they said it was beef broth when it 100% looked and tasted like bland chicken broth. I felt like I was eating a bowl of top ramen but it was rice noodles. I brought the beef home for my dogs and 1 of them spit it out. We didn't try it, sooo not sure if it was good or not. We also got the potstickers and those were good! So, I can't speak for the rest of the menu, hopefully it is better! I will also say that they noticed we didn't eat our food and I would think good service industry would have apologized and comped at least the soups but instead they argued, charged us in full and said "do you want to see the beef bone!?" VERY VERY SMALL and expensive food portions even for someone with a reasonable appetite! Went in with friends and family. We all ate and left HUNGRY. Food is overpriced for the portions. $17 for the Pho that has five crisp thin pieces of meat (yeah I counted). $15 for Pad Thai noodles that scarcely have any meat. $16 for lemongrass chicken that had six thin and short slices of chicken. This place is a JOKE. Don't waste your money here. You will leave HUNGRY. Last thing, they calculate gratuity into the bill and give themselves 20% of the total bill as if you have no say in the matter! Not when the food you are selling is a scam.
