First of all, they gave us an early morning window, and they held to it! Daniel Perez and his assistant, Gabriel, don't know his last name. They came ready to work. Putting a new breaker box outside, and putting some electric switches for the backyard and front.they had to shut the power off for about 4&1/2 hours, but,, they had everything done, within a hour after that. They still have to come out and update the "New, updated" smoke detectors. Daniel, who I believe is a service manager, likes to get out of the office once in a while, and be around people. I've used TruTec for several projects and they never disappoint. Today was no exception. TruTec replaced four outdoor ceiling fans on a lower deck porch, replaced an older version ceiling fan that no longer worked on our upper deck using one of the fans removed from downstairs, and installed new remotes controls in the fans. Mark Gonzalez did the initial consultation and gave me the quote, and Alex Moser did the installation. Mark gave me great suggestions to be efficient (replaced the downstairs fans with new ones, and use one of the old fans from downstairs to replace a non-working fan upstairs). The cost was extremely reasonable for the work and expertise involved. Alex finished the install in just a few hours. Both technicians are very personable, professional, punctual and very skilled. TruTec is my "go to" electric company and I will continue to use them on all future projects. read more

If I could give more stars, I would. I was extremely impressed with our service from TruTec. It started with me being able to book an appointment just from calling their virtual assistant on the weekend. They then called me on Monday to confirm the appointment and get a general idea of the problem at hand. Then the morning of our appointment they sent me a text with the name and a picture of the person coming out and another to let us know he was en route. Mark was our guy and he was informative, respectful, and even showed me some things to look out for in our older home. He made some suggestions and sent us quotes for some things we might get done in the future. They were very reasonably priced and he answered all of my questions and even made sure I had his info in case something else came up or for any emergency. I don't even know where to begin. I am still in awe of the kindness, transparency and professionalism of Daniel and his team (Caleb + Juan). I was experiencing some issues with my meter box outside due to the shifting of the ground and had a couple electricians come out to quote me (As a single homeowner I get very nervous to trust that they are not taking advantage of me) Many of the quotes I go were overwhelming and filled with fear of the tens of thousands of dollars of potential problems that could arise during the project. I felt like I would never find a reliable team to help me resolve my issue. Somehow I found TruTec and Daniel. Daniel talked a distressed me through how his team was going to come over, assess the situation and give me options. His evaluation was so thorough and honest. His team came out the next day to start the work, worked with the city and had my power off for only 3 hrs! Not only is my meter box replaced and service drop repair but TruTecs repair will also allow the natural movements of my home to not have the same problem again. I am also extremely satisfied with their warranty as well as they financing options. Their quotes were competitive but fair but honestly the best service I have had and you get what you paid for. While I hope I do not have any electrical issues for a very very long time I am comforted in knowing I have found an incredible team to keep me safe and a customer for life. I was able to get a Master Electrician (Mynar Electric Company) who is also a Licensed contract to do the same work for 25% of what TruTec quoted me. I love this company! I live in Washington DC and my mother lives in Austin Texas. During the recent heatwave a power surge caused electrical issues at my mother's house. My mother lives alone. I called around to a few electric companies and found Trutec Electric. What impressed me over the phone was that they were down to earth and they came across as really honest. When they arrived they gave us a diagnostic report and a price. The price was perfect. We hired the company. The technician lead, Logan and his crew, Bon, Caleb, and Dan did an awesome job. But, not only did the job they were hired to do but they went above and beyond...these guys really care, they showed compassion to my elderly mother by ensuring she had a battery operated fans, plenty of liquids / Gatorade and offered her food. Nice enough team of two men that came out for an estimate. Found them on Home Advisor. They charged $40 for an estimate. We were floored when the estimate for installing sconces, a fan and moving a cable cane to 2800! When broken down they were charging hundreds of dollars for parts at Home Depot we could buy for less than 4.00 a part When we emailed to ask about the markup being so much we never heard back. I guess some people are just suckers and pay whatever they suggest but luckily we knew better. Still mad at myself for going thru Home Advisor to find Tru Tec and paying for estimate too. read more
