Phones go unanswered, voicemails not responded to, and nearly two weeks after an initial contact the company has gone dark on us . It's impossible to reach anyone from this company. I suspect like many another Austin businesses, they've been acquired by private equity, are no longer locally owned, and are slowly being ran into the ground. Shame. read more

This outfit is terrific. Knowledgeable, reasonably priced, good quality fixtures, fast install. Had a first install of certain basic lighting around the property, subsequently did an additional install of more fixtures including additional path lights and a moon light in a tree to illuminate our driveway entrance. Again, quick, reasonably priced, professional and trouble-free. A path light went out. Chris, one of the techs, found that a critter had pulled the wire. He reattached and bingo- lamp works. Chris did replace some bulbs while he was here as a preventative measure and gave me all the info I needed. If you are looking for someone to do some outdoor lighting for you, this is the company to call. I think they should be the model for all businesses to follow. They are excellent in every aspect. When they came out to give me an estimate, they blew me away with an interactive estimate which was emailed to me before they even left the house. It included all discussed options and I could simply click on the ones I wanted and submit. The estimator had actual samples of the lights to show me. I am super happy with the lighting system that Outdoor Lighting Perspectives installed for me today. I am having a deck replaced and my old lights were not working correctly, and weren't that desirable in the first place. Josh and Chris from OLP performed the install and were very nice, informative, and were able to work the job in with the unusual problems caused by the deck going in. They just installed the system today and my new deck furniture hasn't arrived, but I thought I'd add some pictures for other people who are deciding. I can control the lights from my phone or my Amazon Echo. I had two lights installed pointing downwards and 4 lights pointing into the tree canopy. I've only been able to experience the lights for about 30 minutes now, but I'm thinking that I need to do my front yard real soon. read more

I've had OLP out to do two jobs in the past two months and had a great experience. The first job was fixing up my existing landscaping lights that had long stopped working. The guys came out, replaced and rebuilt all the bulbs and fixtures as well as repaired damaged wiring and installed a new controller that works from an app - very cool! The second job was adding bistro lights over our pool deck. I gave the crew some of my ideas and they came back with a fair quote in a couple of days. A week later they came and installed.
