My friend had the grilled avocado salad and the last excuse (their take on the last word ha without green chartreuse). I had the bloody mary at 6pm but it was actually maybe one of the best Bloody Marys I've had in Michigan! The food looked great. I'll also have to come back and sit on their deck/patio in the summer. When there's live music in the park, you can hear it from said deck, which is nice!

It took several attempts because the phone just kept ringing before someone finally answered. Perhaps they could benefit using an online reservation service like OpenTable. The restaurant is charming, with the feel of a cozy house and a beautiful outdoor patio. We shared the calamari, smoked whitefish dip, and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were the star--perfectly roasted, not mushy, and coated in a yummy sweet sauce. I'd come back just for those! The Wild Blossom Martini was also refreshing and delicious. I ordered the scallops. They were cooked perfectly, but the dish didn't quite come together for me. The "avocado relish" was more like scoops of guacamole, and the white cheddar grits were served as a cake. I think a vegetable succotash would have made the dish much more balanced. For dessert, we shared the Mexican chocolate pot de crème, beignets, and a strawberry dessert that wasn't listed on the website. The pot de crème and beignets were both delicious. Overall, the service was good, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was enjoyable. A few small improvements would make it even better, but I'd definitely return the next time I'm in Ann Arbor.

Snagged a booth and my party placed their order quickly. It was a bit dark inside but the booth was comfortable. I loved the outdoor setup and want to come visit on a cooler day! Food arrived fast and we all enjoyed our orders. The kiddos loved their chicken tenders and fries - the RANCH! Yum! Their mixed spring salad was great and I really enjoyed my guanciale and fig pizza (a little too heavy on the fig jam though so I did remove a lot of it). The others in my party had a pepperoni pizza that was great as well. Absolutely best crust I've had on a pizza in awhile! Overall very good, just nothing spectacular so giving 3 stars.

Inside has a fun vibe and I like that you order ag the counter vs waiting for service. That said we still had excellent service in that we were greeted at our table, welcomed in, and plates cleared. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a nice NA menu as most breweries do not. They were out of the one I wanted to try, so maybe next time. The burger was amazing. Like truly amazing. Fries were pretty good...overall I liked them but a bit salty even for me. Dipping sauce was fantastic! The pizza was good in that the crust was excellent. I'm not typically a fan of the pizza you get at bars....it's too crispy. This crust though OMG so good!! The flavor of the toppings, however, were lacking. The one we ordered was supposed to have pesto and hot honey on it. I tasted no pesto and barely any hot honey. What you could taste was just very sweet.

We wanted to do a hayride, pumpkin patch, and corn maze (peak fall activities!) and this place had all 3 things! I was very impressed with the prices- $16 per adult. That included the corn maize, hay ride, and small farm. I will say, make sure to have cash because this place (along with the Dexter Cider Mill which is just down the road from here) is cash only. They do have an ATM machine on the property, but you do have to pay a convenience fee. The corn maze is a lot of fun and there are options to exit in 3 different places if you don't want to go through the whole thing. I wasn't sure how hard it would be, but it proved to be pretty challenging! We got stuck in a loop for probably 10 minutes lol and the whole thing took a little over an hour. There are 8 number signs that you follow throughout the maze which are clearly posted and even have the QR code to a map if you get lost. Me and my boyfriend kept commenting how fun (but scary) a haunted corn maze here would be! We asked the staff if they ever hosted any haunted events and they told us not right now, but maybe in the future. I think that would be awesome and for what it's worth, I would be the FIRST one to come if they made a haunted hayride or corn maze! The hayride was ~20 minutes and took us on the side of the corn maze and pumpkin patch and through a small loop in the woods. It was a great ride to relax after going through the maze for over an hour. Lastly, the pre-picked pumpkin patch towards the entrance of the space was so cute! The prices were amazing- $1 for 2 small pumpkins/gourds and $3-$5 for pumpkins depending on their size. We paid $4 for 5 pumpkins (3 small pumpkins, 1 small gourd, and a larger one to paint). These days, pumpkins at the grocery store are SO expensive so this was so nice, especially for small families and kids who want their own pumpkin. As I had mentioned above, it is also a 4 minute drive from the Dexter Cider Mill as well so make a stop there on your way home! They do sell concessions- donuts, cider, and lots of food here at Blast, but I'd recommend taking the short drive to a classic cider mill well-known in Michigan for their cider and donuts! I appreciated that this place wasn't as commercialized as other places in Michgan (Wiards, etc.). It was fun to be surrounded by a variety of people- young families, kids, other couples, and even other college students. There was something for everyone to do and all the staff were so friendly and helpful! Easily lots to do here and can be a whole day activity! We were here for ~2 hours but could've spent longer if we had walked around more. We will be coming back and think this place would be a fun tradition to come to each fall, especially since they change their maze every year so it will always be a challenge!

Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more disappointed. First, the restaurant was unbelievably hot and muggy, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Our host told us our table was ready, but when we got there, she still had to wipe food and crumbs off from the previous guests, leaving us to sit at a wet table. My husband ordered the brunch burger, I ordered a skillet, and we ordered cinnamon roll pancakes to share. His burger was extremely overcooked. I specifically ordered my skillet with hash browns, but it came with home fries. Normally, I wouldn't make a big deal about a simple mistake, but when I mentioned it, our server responded with, "This is how they made it," as if it was now just my problem. We would have happily waited for it to be remade correctly. The skillet itself was also disappointing. The onions were extremely undercooked and crunchy, there was so much cheese that every bite had strings of cheese stretching across the table, and the eggs I ordered over-medium were over-easy at best. Then there were the cinnamon roll pancakes... which never came. When our server brought the check, she actually asked, "No one brought the pancakes?" Who else was supposed to bring them? She was our server. We also asked for napkins FOUR separate times, and somehow she repeatedly brought us ketchup instead. We never asked for ketchup. We asked for napkins. At that point, it honestly felt like our server was completely checked out. To "make up" for the experience, she brought us a piece of cheesecake that we didn't ask for and don't even eat. After everything that had gone wrong, it felt more insulting than helpful. Between the uncomfortable atmosphere, poorly prepared food, incorrect order, missing food, and terrible service, this was one of the most disappointing brunch experiences we've had. We came in excited and left wishing we had gone anywhere else. Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend dining he

You know, the kind the curl upwards and fill up with little bits of grease that clog your arteries but make your tastebuds sing? So he made it his mission to find some options for our regular Pizza Thursday takeout. A Yelp search showed that Jolly Pumpkin in Dexter has the goods I was looking for and we placed an order that week for carryout. And yes!! The photos did not lie. Those perfect little cups were everything I had wanted and more. The cheese was nice and gooey and there's a drizzle of honey that adds a bit of sweetness to the pie. It also comes with peppers but since I wanted to enjoy just straight up pep, we left them off. My husband also ordered the bacon brussels pizza which was also quite good but we agreed that the pepperoni was the star of the show. Dexter is a bit of a drive for us for pizza so I'm not sure how often we'll be doing this but it's good to know I can fulfill my craving when it comes!

This one in Dexter has limited menu of pizzas, some sandwiches, and a few apps. After a home game, we felt this location would serve us well and it did. Of course we went right as it opened at 4pm on a Saturday. The decor and ambience are typical industrial/micro brew, with booths, tables, and high top seating. The bar is large and there is another room you can reserve for events. Speaking of the bar, you order everything at the bar and they bring it to your table. Not awful, wondering how that works when it gets busy. The beer is good. Had a Hefeweizen that had a different, crisper flavor than what you might expect, which I don't mind. It wasn't served cold, rather slightly chilled. Might be on purpose to let certain flavors through. Personally, I like beer cold. End of story. Also had their Noel seasonal. Boozy at over 9% however not too heavy or overpowering. Had sugar plum notes, which at first threw me a bit. When paired with the mushroom pizza though, I thoroughly enjoyed. Pizza is solid, nice doughy crust with some char to it. If you're looking for some good beers to try and a bit of food, I highly recommend.
