My favorite Korean market. Love the extensive selection. Everything one would expect and more. Very…read moregood prices too. My favorite items are the individually made hot and cold Korean foods. Great selection. Pick out two or three containers for an inexpensive lunch. Lots of esoteric flavors including Asian Kit Kats and Korean Frito Lay potato chips. Huge selection of hand held desert cakes, cookies, and ice creams. The exterior and interior of the building was very clean and well organized. Grocery check-out was efficient and accurate. They bag your groceries too. If Tiger Market was closer to my home I'd be here several times a week.

Tons of bulk ramen and small aisle of kitchen items. I walked the aisles twice but wasn't not impressed with the selection. Service said they make the banchan when they have time. ok. I'm over an hour away and would make this place a destination but if there isn't consistency then I won't waste my time. I wouldn't bother unless you need something ordinary like sesame oil or soy sauce. That selection was extensive but I guess that would be since it had a long shelf life. I hope they get more customers to justify filling out the shelves.

Another great trip to One world market! I am noticing so many little and big changes within this…read morestore. Greater varieties and diversity and expansion. The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out. I've seen a lot of posts on social media and it's bringing in an even greater crowds, which is fantastic! Note: the on-line ordering is also so convenient and their sushi platters are high-level!

We dined at the Marketplace for lunch. The service was pretty decent! Ordered using the QR code and dined there. There's no table service. We got the sides: rice with miso soup, Pork Katsu, Some type of grilled Salmon and Udon Noodle Soup. The food was great with reasonable pricing! The portion felt more Asian size. Not too huge which we loved. Definitely going to be back to try their Sushi Nigiri and Shasimi. Do stop by, you won't be disappointed!

They have added additional items in the store since the pandemic, including cooking items like, triangular rice molds for making onigiri, disposable chopsticks, and tableware. The management has also added a few new types of rice, including Tamanishiki, which is a super premium short grain rice that is used in high quality Japanese restaurants. "This type of rice is a combination of Koshihikari rice and Yumegokochi rice, with a rich flavor and excellent texture." Likewise, the staff will go out of their way to special order some items if they are not normally carried on the shelves. The best thing is that they added a small eatery in the store called the "Korner Kitchen," which offers a very diversified menu of Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese items.

I debated visiting the various Asian markets in the area and chose this one because of its size. I was able to find all the ingredients except for the pho spices, which I already had and had brought from home. The only downside is that all of their meat was frozen. Luckily, I was able to find fresh young hen at Whole Foods, which completed the meal.
