You can feel the history as soon as you walk in, with the vintage look, old photos and classic ice cream counter. We stopped in with a party of six and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful and incredibly quick. The ice cream was delicious with tons of flavors, huge portions and very reasonable prices. They have cones, sundaes, shakes, malts, floats, soft serve and more. They also have a drive-through and a small old-school supermarket selling milk, drinks, snacks and groceries. Such a cool and unique local place. Great service, great prices and great ice cream. We would absolutely come back!

With it being a Sunday, when calories don't count, especially when they come from a locally owned business... Of course I went and got two Macron's.! the raspberry which actually has the most delicious bit of raspberry compote inside and the birthday cake. I can't say enough about this place. I am so fortunate to live in old Orchard and have access to so many great local locally owned eateries. Actual instructions, like you were being handed a small machine built of butter and sugar. No other local baker has matched this level of service. It felt human. It felt rare. We actually didn't go for candy, we were going to use the front of porch for family photos. Pat, the owner has a beautifully decorated porch and I couldn't think of a better place than in front of the beautifully lit snowman for our pictures. When we arrived it was still open. Not only did she not mind, but she invited us inside for photos by the fire. Gorgeous! You don't get service like this these days. So of course we HAD to buy some retro candy as well as some delicious chocolate made by a family Pat specifically orders from. I was able to get some stocking stuffers, orange slices for my grandfather, a treat for my friends son, my daughter, and myself as well all for under 15$.
