The staff is helpful and friendly. These stores aren't very common in some areas and I'm glad to have one in our small town. It is a clean, organized store and if you can't find something the staff is always available to help you. It's fun just to browse sometimes. I'm a member of crown rewards also and I got the funnest wine glass that I ordered online and had it shipped to my local store. Also new is the keepsake ornament club punchcard. One of my favorites is looking at the new keepsake ornaments that usually come out in July.

But I did not find any holiday mugs worth getting. The only mugs they had that I liked were way way too big. I was also sad that the selection of holiday sweaters were not up to par with the selection from last year.

Connoisseurs will have a ball. Literal tea time vibes. 11& 3 energy if you know you know. Cottage pie is phenomenal. Gluten free options available too. Will be back. Thank you to the twins!

I'm far from an expert on gift shops, but I'll put my two cents in on this one based on my…read moreobservations and my wife's comments. This diminutive spot adjacent to the Blissfield Antique Mall gives a nice impression upon entering. It's well done and has some unusual selections. This last observation then segues into my wife's comments that she relayed to me after talking with the owner. She (the owner) opened this shop because the craft show activity in the area has been greatly mitigated due to issues related to COVID. This establishment gives local crafters an outlet for their wares, and there are one-of-a-kind offerings that can be found throughout. My wife bought a beautifully decorated birdhouse for a steal (barely above the price of the materials). If you're looking for an unusual gift, this is a terrific place to look for one.

Things to do along I-75 N/S to and from the Detroit area (2 of 2)…read more I had to slow down the clock and spend a little time here. The real destination was Detroit. That said, I had coffee at one place, ate a meat loaf lunch at another, pawed the car windows and did some test sitting at a few dealerships, drove around the University of Toledo campus (which I didn't know is a very good school for STEM disciplines), and put the cherry on top of these few hours by visiting the Toledo Botanical Garden. I walked the garden and took photos. It was warm and humid, so I didn't really relax and sit a spell. Like many public gardens, the Toledo Botanical Garden, out toward the western end of the city, mixes up formal garden spaces with European cues and more organic spaces, meaning they are natural in affect and display very little rigid planning. I was fairly amazed how, as you moved along, these different vistas came into view. Everything was cohesively put together and you could enjoy the different environments they've curated for you. The Toledo Botanical Garden is part of the city metro park system, which I learned from other reviews. Thus, being under this umbrella might mean that the park is free of charge ... and it is! For this aspect and for delivering more than I had expected, having pulled it from a "top things to do" list, I believe the Toledo Botanical Garden handily earns 5 stars.
