A hidden gem! Free admission. Easy access and nicely paved pathways. I adored the Woodland Garden's spring blooms and fish pond. I even saw some Asian carp in the river beside the Pondside Meadow.

True Beauty in our own backyard! If you have not had the opportunity to visit Toledo's Botanical Gardens, definitely make that a must on your list before the end of the season. I love to come, just to get away for an hour or so from the hustle and bustle of your daily life. There are spots to sit by near the water, and also a playground for the children. There are trails to walk, tons of breathtaking flowers, and places to relax and truly reconnect with nature. No ticket needed

This is not what I was expecting at all. The nature part is quite beautiful and unexpected. I was amazed at how serene this place is. I would like to come back when everything is in bloom. The winter view was still great and big free Free parking. As a side note, the front part of the park is a nonprofit for people with special needs. They make crafts and art then sell it to the public for a fair price. It was great to see everyone working together for a great cause.

Toledo has so many amazing metro parks and this is one of my favorites! The variety of flowers is so fun to see and it's an amazing place to take photos or just take a nice walk.

Found this guy stuck on his back on the sidewalk. I love bumble bees.

This is formerly Crosby Gardens but is now part of our metroparks. Still beautiful and is now becoming more child friendly....not that it wasn't before. It's an absolutely beautiful park and garden. If you are looking for a place to take family or Sr. Pictures this is your place. They also have little buildings with art groups etc that you can enter and maybe purchase a gift. Stained glass, pottery etc.

Cannot wait to come back! I came with a friend from Detroit after he told me it was a great place to snap pictures. It did not disappoint! From our houses in the metro Detroit area it was only an hour and a half drive ( with construction)! This place it's gorgeous and relaxing. My friend and i spent 2 hours wandering around.

Had a lot of fun walking around here today. It was a little before season for much to be in bloom but still a very nice walk. We stopped by the shops where the artists are too and ended up buying something at Unruly Arts.

Even early spring has beautiful flowers blooming, but not here. It seems there is only 1 small section of flowers and then they are summer time bloomers. Very disappointed. Looked for a paper map but it's so small that you don't need one. Great place to bring the kids and let them run around. Free parking and admission. Recommend? If you have kids or seniors out for a stroll, sure.

It's so beautiful and quiet. I wish I could walk my dog here, but courtesy of terrible pet owners, per usual, we can't have nice things.

And it's not far from the river, where we watched a small crane work for its dinner right below us on the bridge.

I'm always on the look for an awesome boutique and Fiddle Stix definitely hits that awesome factor…read moreas there's totally something here someone from all ages. Coming here was totally random it was like hey this boutique looks awesome let's check it out and I'm glad I did because I found all kinds of awesome goodies. There is a ton of random awesome things here some of which are just totally cute and must haves for anyone who is into interior design and other home goodies. They also had a good amount of clothing here as well as bags some of which were just totally cute! Overall this was an awesome store with lots of cool things for decent prices I'm totally glad that I came in who knows if I'll make it back here again but I'm definitely open to it!

My husband and I stopped in Sunday afternoon after having brunch with our family at IT5 next door…read moreafter being told we "must go there! It's soooo cute" and yes, it was. The only gross part was the woman behind the counter and whoever was assisting her. We were the only two people in the store (men, heavily tattooed, if she knew we were both financially stable maybe things would have been different sadly) and we're watched like shoplifters. Not one hello, from either person. Just stares when we were browsing while they pretended to be busy. After 10 minutes of awkward silence, we had just found some candles, and a middle aged white woman walked in and boom. "Hello! Welcome in, let us know if we can help you" My husband and I both got the message, dropped what we were looking at and walked out. No goodbye come again, just pretty selective salespeople. Very selective. Gross. Gross. Gross. Be ashamed. This is why our country is falling to shit.
