This small town is so lucky to have The Boulevard Market! Why you may ask and want to know, and I am here to tell you! First and foremost Erica and John are the sweetest and interesting couple. We met them about 7 years ago and we have been visiting ever since. From being guest at their air b n B to being neighbors we have enjoyed them and are so grateful for them to provide such a unique and exquisite store with delightful cheeses wines chocolates and much much more. I love all the employees here they are welcoming and know their stuff. I would want to work here! You can find something for everyone and for a lot of occasions. Customer service in the shop was phenomenal. You can tell that they actually have a passion for what they offer. I sampled several of the cheeses that they had available and ended up getting a charcuterie board made everything on. It was delicious and things I would've never known to ask for because I let the dealer have the choice of what they may be. The prices were reasonable. The wine was delicious and even the little treats they offer which I had to Dubai chocolate was amazing. Is it someplace? I would definitely recommend you trying if you're in the area or even if you're not, it's worth a drive. read more

I love this little market. This is the ultimate shop for building cheese boards or for a picnic. Gourmet cheese, crackers, nuts, jams, chocolate, cured meats, olives, and so much more. We picked up honeycomb, three cheeses, chocolate, salami and olive tapenade. I made a great cheeseboard for dinner that night. So glad we stopped in. I am a big fan! The selections of wine, cheese, chocolates and other treats here are unbeatable for this area. I also love the location in the vintage corner storefront they occupy in downtown Tecumseh. They've done a great job with their interior arrangement. While it's cozy, it's also a very pleasant experience to look around at all of the amazing options they offer. Every staff member with whom I've dealt has been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We particularly like the Ruby Rosé grapefruit wine they have available on occasion. It's a great place for gift shopping. As an on-line shopping skeptic, this was a great option for me to do hands-on hunting in order to put together a Mother's Day basket for my wife during the COVID crisis, when most other retail stores were under forced closure. read more

We were passing through and had to stop by to taste some cheese! High quality cheeses and some unique types I had never encountered. John is the owner and took the time to discuss the area. He was very personable and gave us amazing service. The store itself was very clean and had a nice assortment of products. I really liked this place. Between the wine, cheese, imported balsamic and smoked and cured meats it had a really cool European feel. They also have a great chocolate, coffee and tea selection. I picked up a bag of a great key west loose leaf tea blend. As you shop you can also order one of their awesome sandwiches. I tried the St Germain with prosciutto, Brie, lettuce and balsamic. It has been a while since I've given a 5 star review in Tecumseh but I believe this place really deserves it. They were friendly and welcoming. I felt like they cared about sending me out the door with delicious treats and food. The chocolate is unique and so are some of their cheeses. Be sure to ask then if you have any questions because they were more than happy to talk with us.We got the sampler cheese pack. My favorite was the pimento and then the mozzarella. I love that they make some of it. You can ask for samples if you are unsure what you want. I'm so happy to see a place like this in Tecumseh! read more

We always make it a point to drive from Ann Arbor to Tecumseh to sample the cheeses at Boulevard Market. We usually leave the store laden with packages and the lingering flavor of gourmet cheese on our palates. The cheese here isn't cheap and it shouldn't be; we're talking the good stuff. They offer both local and imported cheeses, all of the highest quality. Not sure what to buy? Not a problem - the knowledgeable staff will gladly walk you through your adventure and offer you plenty of tastes along the way. This is where I found the most astounding aged gouda, crystalline and tasting of butterscotch. It was perfection. While the cheeses are the gems in the crown of Boulevard Market, they also offer a very nice selection of wines, beers, and gourmet food products. This is truly a foodie destination and you'll do yourself a favor by going there as frequently as you're able - good cheese goes fast! read more

I love the Boulevard Market. I discovered it several years ago while visiting the Evans Street Station.I am somewhat of a cheese freak and It is the best cheese shop in this part of the country. The meats, olives, balsamic vinegar,beer and wine selections, etc. are amazing. Excellent, but not overwhelming, amount of choices. Unfortunately I don't get up there as often as I would like,(being from Toledo) but it is always so well worth the trip.It is an amazing market, very American with a European flair. Wow! We happened upon this place by accident and it is wonderful. They make their own goat cheese. You really can taste the freshness of the cheese. We also bought Cantal which brought back memories of evenings in the southwest of France, watching my kids devour the Cantal my mother in law bought. They are now venturing into chocolate making with beans imported from South America The bread was crusty, fresh and a perfect foil to the cheeses. We didn't purchase any wine but spent a lot of time talking with the owners who are knowledgeable and pleasant. Well worth the detour. If you go to Tecumseh (pronounced Tecumsee) stop in at Pentamere Winery across the street. Totally changed our minds about sweet fruity Michigan wines. Free tastings and we walked out with a nice merlot and a lovely white. read more

Update: Boulevard Market has recently added a small menu of sandwiches. Before, the owners would always make a sandwich if you asked, but now there are four "standards" that you can choose from, and they're all incredible. read more

Printed out the list of cheese from their website and marked all of the cheese made LOCALLY and cheese made from raw milk that I wanted to buy. Drove from Jackson,they only had one of each.. Bought other cheese,hopefully they will have more next time. Service was good. read more

We were initially impressed with this market enough to place a large order of 55 mini-loaves of bread to be part of a Christmas basket for friends. We thought it would be a nice gift when combined with imported jams which we bought for that purpose. We ordered the bread over a month in advance and were told everything would be wonderful. Then, less than 3 days before the order was to be picked up, they said their supplier couldn't provide enough dough. Obviously they didn't plan ahead. When we asked about alternative solutions, Erika, one of the owners, literally YELLED at my wife for several minutes over the phone and then Erika cancelled the order. How rude! One of the best little treasures of Tecumseh!! We absolutely love the Boulevard Market. They have the best variety of artisan foods anywhere in the area. I can honestly say that I have not found a selection of gourmet foods(cheeses especially) anywhere. We have traveled to Ann Arbor and Toledo and always end up coming back to the Boulevard Market. My wife and I travel from Michigan Center on a regular basis! The White Cheddar w/Carmelized Onions is my all time favorite!
